Sounds like a cool idea, but I can only imagine the amount of pain that would be felt the moment a solar eclipse RNG's its way into a session... I don't think anyone would last longer than ten minutes before bailing out of the world for the rest of the day just to skip the event.

Have them last as long as their real life counterparts!
Blood moon: 10 minutes
Solar eclipse: 7 minutes
(Pumpkin and frost moons will last for 12 minutes, as they have no irl counterpart)

if the start of day and night stay, however, then a lot of sleep schedules will get ruined because not many people wake up at 4:30AM or earlier, and conversely 7:30PM is a ridicilously early time to go to sleep
so, i'd say, if possible, make the dividers 6AM and 6PM on this seed since those are also somewhat frequently used as dividers between day and night IRL too

I like it. In my mind, the criteria for a good secret seed is that its changes must be relevant and impactful for the entire playthrough, and this would certainly achieve that.
This is already true of many things in Terraria. We can't account for that.

Also, Christmas night should be a natural frost moon all night, same with halloween and the pumpkin moon. if you have beaten plantera ofc. The tier would be able to get to 15 but it wouldn't give the achievements.
