Terrarian
I'm playing on a windows 11 laptop, I have the AMD Ryzen 7 5800H and Nvidia Geforce RTX 3060 laptop GPUs. I have 16GB of ram.
I did some organizing of my files recently, and about a week passed afterward until I decided to load up Terraria. I then saw that all of my characters and world saves had been erased. I was trying to remember if the game had crashed, my computer crashed, or something of the like, but I couldn't think of anything. Until I remembered the rummaging I did in my files.
I went to where I moved some game files and found where I put Terraria, and I can see all of my save files are still intact (thankfully!).
I don't really understand how files for a game works, I'm going to be honest with you. I'm asking where I need to put this file so Terraria has proper access to it, because I must have removed that access by putting it somewhere it wasn't supposed to be. I can't remember where it was before I put it in my 'games' folder, so if anyone knows where I need to ploink it, I would really appreciate it.
I feel pretty dumb for having gotten myself into this mess, but I'm hoping it's a simple fix. I'm a neat freak when it comes to my files/photos and it looks like it bit me in the . I have some memory issues so it makes any software issues I have so much easier when everything is where I expect it to be.
