Honestly, I enjoyed the last part. It was nice to get away from the multiple Kirito-destroys-everything idea and explore their life as they live it, and the final episode... I may have cried a bit.

It may not have followed the rest of the series (in terms of genre, if that makes any sense), but it was executed fairly well for what it was.

SAO was good. Then they added the second arc. Then they destroyed a perfectly good lightnovel by animating it with fanservice and slow pacing.

I hope that they don't add a third season of Alicization Rising... I don't want that to be ruined as well
