Items Tether Kites?

To keep it short and simple; if possible in the game's engine, I would really love to be able to tether kites to a specific piece of furniture or block. So I can see them hit the ground when it's not windy, and see them soaring when it IS a windy day without standing around myself to see them flying

The kites added in Journey's End are so pretty and so fun, it's a shame I can only have one out at once. Or need to dedicate time just to see them flying. I'd love to be able to 'place' them!

Yeah same. I want to be able to hold them. Maybe add an option to mannequins or something?
Or a designated pole, like a flag pole but for kites.

I made it my mission to collect all kites in the game and I couldn't agree with you more. I do want to do display kites that I've collected. I've tried with item frames, but its very underwhelming.
