Blocks & Decoration The Cobalt Crafting Table!

I have an idea.
Y'know about the Mythril anvil & The Adamantite forge? Well... I shall introduce you to: The Cobalt Crafting Table!
Cobalt_Crafting_Table.png

- Used to craft cobalt/palladium stuff.
- Used to craft Pearlwood gear.
- Used to craft a Mythril/Orichalcum Anvil.
- Used to craft early-hardmode gear.
- Should now be the crafting station to craft all mech summons except Ocram's Razor.
- Crafted with 24 Cobalt bars.
- It has a palladium variant with the same functions.
- The Lihzahrd Crafting Table will have the same functions.

No. This would just make the game less convenient and to no benefit at all. This is entirely unnecessary.

I really appreciate the sprite work and details about the Cobalt crafting table, but what would be the gameplay benefit of implementing a crafting barrier like this?

Now that I think about it, what is the purpose of the Hardmode anvils and forges even?

I know it has no purpose but its meant to go along the lines of the mythril and adamantite crafting stations
1.12 braincells made this whilst i was taking a shower

thats the main reason as to why @Redigit🌳 would enjoy its addition
Nothing is ever added just for no reason at all. If a task is made less comfortable or efficient, it is always because it makes other aspects of the game better in some way.

I’d like this in the game but only for decorative purposes, not progression since early HM mining takes ages, especially if you forgot to make a molten pickaxe like I did once

I think it would be max. an addition as a deko, not for a crafting station since pearlwood items is wood and spooky armor is made also at normal workbench, but the ingredients you get anyways late, so I do not see any reason for a cobalt workbench AS A STATION

i honestly dont care that much i just want cobalt to have more of a use

what if cobolt armor had more unique set bonuses, perhaps they could have more of a fucus on subclasses. like @Heath04🌳 suggested

This would provide cobalt with more use, without limiting progression behind cobalt too much.

WAIT A MINUTE
COBALT IS DEADLY TO INGEST IRL

POISONOUS COBALT BULLETS AND ARROWS!

POISONOUS COBALT BULLETS AND ARROWS!
I'd worry about it being replaced by the venom bullets, but venom bullets are post plantera, sooooo

Well then you'll love my mod
oh wait sorry I was think of the Pre-HM ores
Maybe I should add a use for cobalt in late game

But yeah cobalt and palladium need more uses in late HM

"Sometimes, My Dear Watson, we have to sacrifice necessity for consistency." - Sherlock Holmes.
I support this suggestion.

This makes no sense when you consider that there are many variations of benches from different woods but no variations of furnaces or anvils to that scale.

Ejem

Poop blocks
Terra Toilet
A lot of minecarts that don't have any differences but their sprite
A lot of HM grappling hooks worse than 1 Pre HM grappling hook (the jungle one)
Love Potions
Stink Potion

Shall continue?

Crafting tables are not made of metal. they are made of wood (not including furnature sets in here)
