Let's say "Yes" to boomerangs and powerful shortswords,you've won my respect.
 
Beter use silver and gold shortsword for 1 true shortsword,then mix it together.

I swear the first thing I do when 1.3 comes out is go take a Copper Shortsword and Broken Hero Sword and see if this is added, it's like the Melee equivalent of the Razorblade Tyhpoon, the way it goes from enemy to enemy. It seems like it'll be a legitimately fun and powerful weapon to play with, and it definitely fits in with Terraria's sense of humor. I'd be honestly surprised if this DIDN'T get in!
 
This is definitely the craziest, most creative, most hilarious, and most clever idea I have ever seen. Must have. I have an idea though, buff the damage and make it bounce only 3 times. Other than that, it's literally perfect in my opinion.
 
I SUPPORT! It's about time that the shortswords get to play a real role in hardmode.
(You know.... a golden shortword is pretty fast, like stabbing a monster)

Ive read this countless times, but after reading it for the millionth time I realized this basically makes the Broken Hero Sword a weapon
