Blocks & Decoration Weird little idea: foreground items

I know this idea isn't that creative, but i think it would be cool for decor, foreground blocks (such as a foreground version of a wooden beam) could be identical to background blocks except your character is placed behind them, foreground walls could instead be the same color as the block they're made of, but would act the same way as foreground blocks, foreground objects could be crafted at a work bench or maybe a demon alter, idk, just a little idea i thought up

This would be cool, afaik there is nothing that draws on top of the player. If we could get some variant of beams that are in the foreground, it would be very useful. Maybe if we hammer beams they can move into the foreground?

I do really like the idea of foreground objects. it would be really useful. stuff like spiral staircases could really use it.

I would love to have a foreground curtain for performance stages and hide-and-seek! Like in Kirby's Epic Yarn!

Actually my new idea for how to get foreground items is not crafting but rather you use actuators on background blocks or walls to turn them into foreground items while this would make actuators a bit better for builders, it would also mean you can't put foreground walls over background walls, idk why you would want to do that other than to cover up the contents of an npc suitable house
