Why moonlord dont drop bow?

Im a ranger and i use bows like the storm bow and phantasm (some times i use the vortex beater) but why doesnt he drop a bow he drops every single weapon arcatype.

The phantasm is the best bow right now and yet they nerfed it

I know, what I'm saying is that the Moon Lord doesn't need to drop any bow, as the Phantasm is already powerful enough and another bow is unnecessary.
 
Not every boss needs to drop every weapon type to be honest, especially not weapon types within a playstyle. Guns and Bows all fall under Ranged and as long as a boss drops a Ranged weapon, then it's fine.

Now keep in mind that 1.4 will be coming and there are more weapons, so you will likely see another bow after Phantasm. No promises it will be more powerful than Phantasm, but it could be a side-grade offering a slightly different take on how bows work or something that makes it a competing weapon without making it a direct upgrade (kind of like how they promised to do the same for the Meowmere for the people who don't particularly enjoy using that weapon).
