Weapons & Equip Why shouldn't the Slime Staff drop from the King Slime?

I've been thinking lately. Previously, a Blade Staff drop from an Enchanted Sword, now it falls from the Queen Slime. Why not do the same with the Slime Staff, but so that it falls from the King Slime?

It’s too weak in it’s current state. Would be an underwhelming drop.

It does make sense, but as pointed out the slime staff is needlessly weak.

What if it would drop from king slime, but you have to like "upgrade" it at a solidifier (post king slime) and it changes color based on how many summon slots you have:
1 Green
2 Blue
3 Red
4 Purple
5 Ice
6 Sand
7 Jungle
8 Lava
8 Dungeon
9 Crimson/Corruption
10 Shimmer
11 Spiked (uses the spikes)
(And changes as seasonal variants and weather)

after dungeon it should be evil biome slime and after ice it should be sand to cover all 11 summon slots possible.

At the very least the Slime Staff could be a rare drop just because the King Slime is one of the few slimes that can't drop it. (And to make people stop asking) Even 1/100 would be nice just to make it a little more common.

Also, being weak doesn't stop the Slime Staff from dropping from the Queen Slime's slimes so I don't see why that should be a reason for it to not drop from any other slime. (Speaking of, it should be a drop from every slime. Maybe even including the Queen Slime if the King Slime gets to drop it.)

Now, technically speaking, you are already more likely to obtain the Slime Staff from fighting King Slime, but that's because he summons many Blue Slimes as he takes damage, not because the boss himself has an increased chance to drop the weapon. I personally would like it if King Slime had a boosted drop chance for the Slime Staff, though.

Edit: assuming you're new to the forums, but it is generally a good idea to search to see if anyone has posted the idea first, so as not to make an unnecessary duplicate, when you can always reply to the original thread.
