I'm planning on balancing them out to involve items from multiple tiers of crafting to obtain, so they won't be early preHM as it says.

Ooh, neat! I love items that have multiple crafting stages(Terra Blade, Ankh Shield sort of), I just hope that they won't take a ton of grinding to get(hence the "sort of").

While I'm here, I guess I should mention that Floran Daggers sell for 20 silver each instead of 20 copper. That's probably unintentional.

The Crazed Contraption and the Ancient Guidance have the exact same recipe. I'm not sure if it's a bug or not, but I decided to be better safe than sorry. If this is intentional...Why? I'm really curious.
 
ARTIFACT ACESSORIES:
These are Non-Upgradable unlike Weapon Artifacts, However you can craft these extremely early Hardmode weapons allow you to to get a head start in the world. How these are obtained is pending.

King Slayer Flask (Particles and Projectile Compressed)

15% Chance your Throwing attacks sends forth a Image of venom Knife dealing 20% of the original damage to the target.
30% Chance a Throwing Critical Strike sends forth 3 Images if Venom Knives dealing 20% of the original damage to the target.
- Throwing Attacks inflict "King Slayer Venom" this debuff does not work when a target is below 50% Health.
Tooltip: " Comes from a long lines of Infamous Thieves, Bandits, Rouges and Assassins. "

Summon Damage has a 10% chance to cause a target to be embedded with a Seed of Corruption for 5 seconds, when the duration ends the targets has Nightmare thorns sprout from their body dealing 75% of the original damage for a few moments.

- Press "Hotkey to place a ward for 5 seconds Sanctifying the area around it granting +25% Damage Reduction and Magic Damage. ( 30 Second Cooldown)
- When a enemy strikes you, you have a chance to " Smite " , Smite causes all enemies to be hit by a flare dealing 100% of the damage you received.
Tooltip: " The Water cleanses all things Etherial and Physical. "

- Gain a damage absorbing shield thats equal to 20% of your Max Health , When you receive Damage the Titan Hearts absorb damage first. Separate from your own Health bar the Titan hearts regenerate Slowly by themselves and will begin to absorb damage when its fully recharged.

- Every 4th consecutive shot causes a volley of piercing blossoms Arrows to fire in tandem
- When at 100% Health you gain a circle of 3 Orbiting Petals , when struck the damage instead is taken by the petal. Takes 10 seconds to generate a new petal.

awesome ideas and sprites as always! I have one small suggestion though, maybe make them have benefits for they're class artifact
 
IUnrelated, are Goblin Technomancers supposed to spawn outside of Goblin Invasions? They keep appearing around me for some reason.
Just ran into multiple spawns of Goblin Mechromancers in a Marble biome, Cavern layer, no shadow orbs broken, singleplayer.

Yeah, Mechromancer spawns are bugged. Currently removed their ability to spawn and made Goblin thieves drop Tech arrives as a temporary fix.

I've confirmed before that the tide can be fought and finished in SP with the latest version, not sure what the issue is there.

Conpletely unintentional. I often use some weapon code as templates for others, and I forgot to take out the recipe for the Ancient Guidance :p
 
Went ahead and did that, and it worked. Only major difference I can think of is that my world is now in Hardmode, whereas it was not when I first tried to summon the Tide.
That's interesting. Thanks for the report! On the bright side, there's so much more to do in the Hardmode Tide :)

Speaking of which, are the R'lyehian and Depth Trencher supposed to spawn immediately in Hardmode, i.e. before any bosses? If so, they aren't working either now. Didn't see a single one during the Tide. On a related note, I love the R'lyehian's name. I'm a big Lovecraft fan.

The R'lyehian spawns immediately into hardmode, and the Depth Trencher spawns after Mech bosses. The new set and enemies mainly spawn post mech.
 
Are you or any other dev planning to update the OP when the new update gets released? Infernon, Illuminant Master and Dusking IIRC still aren't updated there.
 
Speaking of the OP, it mentions 5 new town NPCs at the beginning, but I only count 4 described below. Am I missing something?
 
Ah, thanks. I've never seen any Spirit NPCs, so I was confused; I thought there were two in the Rogue gallery, but that must be the armor. `:)
