Ask a Derpling anything.

The two you have most likely seen before are:
Assessors: The ones who weaken themselves and go without cybernetic enhancements in order to gather data more purely.
Scouts: The ones who sacrifice their strength and size for stealth, currently they monitor the situation in the domain of the Pigrons.
Ambassadors: You haven't met these, but the crimson has and completely mutated them.

Some of the more important ones are:
Researchers: Which take the data collected by lower roles and/or gather it and convert it into either applicable knowledge or inventions
Guardians: Which make sure no unauthorized entities enter the dimensions exclusively occupied by derplings, they have the most powerful weapons out of all roles.
Managers: Which manage all other lower roles.
Keeper Of Knowledge: There's only one, and I fill this role. My task it to give knowledge to derplings (and some others, of course ;)) who request it and compile all research into one place.
are these ALL of the roles?

Could the seal of power could taken away from the Enchanted Swords so that they might turn into a regular sword once more?

Of course I would not wish this to happen. I am just curious if this is a possibility.

What is your perspective on the mushroom biome and the truffle man, O Wise One?
The Mycelium (as they are called in the vault of knowledge) are less a biome and race so much as one entity. They are the only truly immortal creatures in the Archipelago and have created some interesting technology as a result, though not as advanced as some of the more powerful races like the Terrarians, Martians, Derplings, and Lihzahrds.

There is more than one seal on the Enchanted Swords, and they are impossible to remove simultaneously. A few of them are the Seal of Mind (what grants them their consciousness), Seal of Etheriality (what gives them that glowy effect and lets them fly around and ignore solid objects), and the Seal of Malevolence (which allows them to temporarily nullify the abilities of their targets). Removing one generally makes the two others irremovable and doesn't always have the intended effect. For example, removing the Seal of Mind would turn them into heartless killing machines that are unable to even think, removing the Seal of Etheriality makes them completely immobile (though still able to communicate), and removing the Seal of Malevolence makes them unable to feel negative emotion and removes their ability to cast curses.

This is something that very few know about us how did you acquire this information?

I simply read the seals written in the magical auras around your kind and translated them.
How much do you know of the underworld and the wall of flesh
The Wall of Flesh was the Dragons' answer to the War of Light and Dark. They created it to seal both the Spirit of Light and the Dark Twins away and keeps them sealed until a being who is most likely strong enough to destroy the spirits once and for all can break the seal. A Terrarian is almost always the one who breaks this seal, but we have experimented and been able to break it ourselves as well.

The Underworld is where the humans fled during the War of Light and Dark and also is one of the few places that was safe from the Necroavirus... but living there exacted a terrible price upon them.
Have you created any of the races in the Terraria cluster?
If you count them, the only race we have directly created are the Slimes.

what was the necroavirus?
The Necroavirus was the Derpling's greatest failure. In our old laboratory (known today as the Dungeon) we were trying to develop a bioweapon to turn against the Dark Twins, but a human (this was before evolution had made them into the Terrarians) broke into the lab and the Necroavirus targeted him. It was an airborne illness which caused those afflicted to rapidly gangrene, becoming what's known today as Undead. We managed to completely sterilize the virus after quite some time, but the humans had gone nearly extinct, the descendants of those humans became known as the Terrarians and the Demons.
so gastropods are your spys ambassadors in the hallow
Actually, the gastropods are a species split off from slimes, so we no longer control them. The Illuminant Slimes are our spies ambassadors there.

what kinds of things did you have in the dungeon and what a bout the clother
The Dungeon was where we developed weapons of both magical and biological nature. Most of the skeletons found there have either stolen weapons developed there or were living weapons before the Necroavirus infected them. The Dungeon Slimes were the very first variant of slime ever developed because the Dungeon is where the slimes were created. Skeletron (along with the dungeon guardian) were the Dungeon's security system. When the Necroavirus infected it, it bound to the nearest living creature in order to protect itself, and that creature was the Clothier. Skeletron developed an antidote to the Necroavirus, using it to keep both the Clothier and Skeletron alive for quite a long time.

did any of the skeletons escape, or are they reanimated by a different force in the underground?
