Admittedly, I'm not someone who cares for crazy difficulties in games. I don't understand the draw for things like hardmode or perma-death. Literally no interest in it. I don't like PvP games either. But Terraria is just "different". The kind of different that has me stoked to go at it.I have at least 2x the number of hours it says on my Steam, cause about half the time I don't use the File connected to steam to play Terraria. I got it all, and I know what ya mean when you say its the same in the end.
I am more of a collector than a person who likes a challenge, but they added items that can only be gotten from that hellish challenge. SO I am gonna have to suck it up and do my best. I have never once raged at this game, I have toward my friends (who were playing at the time) but that's a different story.
I am up for the challenge, I decided (after a long time away from the game) to fight Fishron (technically the hardest boss) and I noticed it was so easy to beat him. I am READY!!
Fishron is the one boss I am not super familiar with. First time I fought him was with a friend on my server and he set up this silly asphalt road to run along on as he shot homing rockets the whole time. It felt so empty and boring. That's what I want to avoid doing. I enjoy the challenge of finding a somewhat less "ridiculous" method of obliterating a boss and afterwards knowing that I didn't just copy the same boring strategy every other player did.
Haha, that's reserved for PSO on the Gamecube. Multiply your time by 5 and you're close to the life I didn't have during high school 10 years ago. >_>716 hours beat THAT
