Ice begins to make small ice daggers, but HER influence weakens them considerably.

The brute swings their hand out to smack into the frozen rod, shattering the ice as the rod fades away.

The brute then, still not moving from their position, spins 4 rods out of the ones in the air around them at Pancake and Sarah, deciding not to throw any more rods at the ice person.

Aureil? heads to the side, a bit away from the group, to watch from a less 'open' position, insofar as they aren't in the brute's direct line of sight.

Pancake has a hunch his fire won't do anything, so he instead jumps to the side.

Since Pancake attempts to dodge one, and the other 3 are blocked by Shine, Sarah doesn't have to do anything.

Max's spellcard is nearly ready...!

Well, he fails to notice those three in time to deny them, and also fails to notice the new rods, resulting in him getting hit by both.
And collapsing right away as a result.

The brute squares up, however they do it while still hunched over. Looks like they're readying to make an actual move as the rods stop coming for now.
More rods keep fading into existence around them, though...

That one looks like it caught the brute off guard, and it lands. They don't flinch too much though as it breaks apart upon hitting their skin.

The brute breaks into a run at HER...
...which is horribly slow. So the brute decides to spin 3 rods at HER and another 3 at Shine and Pancake as they charge.

Aureil? starts walking silently towards the brute, before breaking into a jog.

(Aaand I kinda gtg real soon / now-ish. I might be able to manage a post or 2 before I go 100%, but just saying because I've got a tennis thing to do.)

Avin notices Shine's situation, realizes there's no way he could block the rods, then quickly uses Vacuum Wave to block them in Shine's place.

The brute then goes for a simple punch at HER, with the rods they apparently made floating by them, following.

Aureil? breaks into a sprint.
 
(HER and Ice are were only together in the same body once and it was a really long time ago so this is very odd for them, especially Ice)
(also i will try to be more coordinated in the future, if that's what you meant)
