Zero lost the staring contest. (when losing against EOC or Twins)
Zero throught he were almighty. (When losing against moon Lord)
The gravity wasn't okay with Zero's doings.
 
Gekko was shown the truth. (Died to True EoC)
Gekko isn't a fish. (Drowned)
Gekko tried to fly without wings.
Gekko's love of money was their undoing. (Died to someone wielding a coin gun)
Gekko was bitten. (Killed by Vampire, Zombie, or Werewolf)
Gekko decided they needed to "Silt" down. (Play on Sit -- Killed by suffocation from silt)
Gekko wanted to eat some Shark Fin Soup. (Killed by Shark, Sand Shark, Crystal Thresher, Bone Biter, or Flesh Reaver)

Gekko bled a bit after they scratched their arm off some coral. (Died to a shark -- reference to the fact that sharks smell blood and go after the source)
