The King of All Elements is still acting on his own, and prepares a large barrage of fireballs and water tendrils for an attack that probably would've been more generic and lame. Ohptkin decides to do away with that, she waves her hand, and a massive metal fist erupts from the ground, grabbing one of the xylobones and swinging it around in massive arcs before throwing it up into the stratosphere where it crashes into a mysteriously floating cow, also mysteriously made of explodium. This explodes, sending the Xylobone careening back down to the earth below where it smashes into its fellows with a coincidental yet still amusing playing of "shave and a haircut".
And then the King of All Elements uses his attack, unleashing a storm of fire and water on the xylobone, adding more injury to what's already been applied. No insult here, maybe I'll do that next time.

Inventory (for this attack only):

· The Scorpion (Level 3): A minigun that is basically a cactus (thankfully, where you hold it is free of thorns) that fires cactus thorns as ammo. Its ammunition regrows over time, and the thorns have a mild hallucinogenic effect on those hit. As a tradeoff, however, the salvo is very weak and inaccurate.

· Quick Erosion (Level 3): A Warhammer made mostly of sandstone, with chunks of very well-packed sand that isn't quite sandstone yet. I'm not sure if sandstone is compressed sand or not. Either way, this isn't the best Warhammer ever, but it can pack a surprising wallop for being made mostly of rock. Hard to repair, though.

· Toxicity Edge (Level 5): A blade made of lead, laced with both mercury and cyanide. Its edges are serrated, perfect for creating wounds from which all three substances may leak into the bloodstream of the enemy... Though care must be used to make sure the wielder does not similarly succumb.

· Quake Erosion (Level 7): Description not given, assumed to be a reinforced Quick Erosion with the ability to cause earthquakes

· Prominance (Level 14): An orange glove, warm to the touch and marked with the symbol of the sun. Wearing this glove generates a spear with two prongs. It's shaped kind of like a Crawltipede, those jerks. The weapon brims with the fury of the sun. and seems to be particularly accurate against anything airborne. It also regenerates if thrown... And the thrown copy explodes with the force of the sun. It can also turn into a whip with a flick of a switch, relaxing the bonds that keep the spear tight. The whip mode phases through the ground and covers a wide area.

· The Outer Knock (Level 13): A coarse leather glove, its fingers frozen and permanently wrapped around a rusty iron knocker. It carries considerable power over ice, sound and also has its power amplified the darker the area is; however, any motion made by this weapon is only useful at point-blank range, meaning that to use its magical powers you will also have to be punching them at the same time. It is noted that the sounds this thing makes strike unbridled terror into the hearts of others.

· Far Out (Level 15): Description not yet given, assumed to be a sniper rifle that applies devastating status effects possibly including poison, burning, ice, a death curse, hallucinogens, and shock/electrified.

· Intercontinental Ballistic Hammer (Level 10): Description not yet given, assumed to basically be Quake Erosion, but with a metal finish and a missile engine added on the back to assist its smashing.

Action:

I pick up my weapons again, still laughing maniacally. Actually, I cannot pick up my weapons. There's too many. Because, I'm using every single one in this attack.

Instead, a wheel of floating weapons appears behind me, slowly rotating. It spins to show off Scorpion, Toxicity Edge, Quick and Quake Erosion, Intercontinental Ballistic Hammer, Far Out, Prominence, and The Outer Knock. Two-thirds of a zodiac so far, but enough for eight spokes on my wheel of death.

Firstly, my weakest weapon, Scorpion at level 3 (I'll probably go back through this and put the levels and item descriptions with them, to make Tazz's job easier; also this might be wrong right now), flies out of the wheel and into my right hand. I point Scorpion into the barrel of a nearby server defense turret. There's not much creativity to be had with a cactus spike shooter. This thing can't even shoot spikes fast or hard enough to damage metal. However, I do have an idea. I shoot a few spikes straight up and hover Scorpion in the air. The spikes come back down and embed themselves in the sandy gun, making a dangerous spike ball of sorts. I float Scorpion a few hundred meters directly above the turret and point it up. Then I stick the trigger down and let it fall. The kickback from the firing added to the falling momentum pushes Scorpion to high speeds, and it collides with the turret with catastrophic results. I won't be using that anymore.

The wheel turns once more. As the revolution stops, out pops Quick Erosion. I casually reach out and grasp it, easily hefting the oversized and quickly crumbling hammer. It's powerful enough to break a building, but fairly low on the powerscale of the battlefield. It's so badly constructed that it will probably break on impact, so I decide to use that to my advantage. I pick a nearby turret and wind up for a good whack. I swing, and as predicted, the sandstone head is torn apart when it collides with the turret, which is also blown away. However, this strike was carefully aimed, and the results show: rubble flies through the air, taking down dozens of turrets and jamming the mechanisms of hundreds more with sand.

As sand goes flying over the battlefield, the wheel picks up speed again. Two spokes are gone, and the third breaks as well with Toxicity Edge's departure. It floats to my hand, sliding between my fingers into a sure grip. I flick my wrist forward, and the air wave generated cuts lines of turrets alone. I twist the blade up and into a guarded stance, spotting every turret within eyesight that is still operational.
Then I stop because the edge levels are going off the charts and this is boring. Instead, I warp Toxicity Edge into a solid metal sphere, and lob it into a clump of turrets. I take advantage of the radioactivity built into the - former - blade to detonate the orb as a small dirty bomb. Against metal, a toxic sword made for assassinations is relatively weak. However, metal shrapnel accelerated by a nuclear explosion, more so.

Wasting no more time, I wrench Quake Erosion out of the wheel and set to work demolishing yet more server defenses. Hundreds are dispatched within seconds of my first swing, but I'm not focusing on the defenses themselves. Instead, I use the earthquake powers of Quake Erosion to draw a massive network of cracks in the ground beneath the defenses. Then, in one fell swoop, I crush the weakened ground, opening a massive pit leading directly into subterranean magma. The magma, now lava, surges out of the ground to consume thousands of server defenses.

Now I gather both my newly completed ICBH and The Outer Knock together, temporarily attaching the latter to the head of the former. Then, I fly up above a particularly dense area of defenses and line up a power strike. When I am confident with my angle of attack, I begin to swing the ICBH. Just before the arc makes the hammer perpendicular to the ground, I activate its missile thruster. The engine literally screams to life, the horrifying sound being amplified to cataclysmic proportions by The Outer Knock's sound manipulation. Since an ICBM can travel roughly 7000m/s in its final dive (this is a rough estimate, might actually be conservative), I am traveling at greater than mach 21. The amplified sound - the sonic boom - of me reaching such a speed so suddenly at less than a kilometer above the ground generates shockwaves so unbelievably intense that every server defense within range is just ripped apart near instantaneously. Within 1/7 of a second, I collide with ground, making impact with such kinetic energy that the desert would be pulverized into vapor if it was not instantly frozen solid by The Outer Knock. By pushing so much energy into this knock, I manage to snap-freeze untold millions of server defenses so devastatingly fast that they become permanently inoperable. I can't do calculations for impact since I don't know the mass of these two weapons, but at that speed even a beachball would be a weapon of mass destruction.

I put away Quake Erosion, ICBH, and The Outer Knock before doning Prominence and grabbing Far Out. I activate Prominence carefully, forming a spear almost like a bayonet on the top of Far Out. Next, I release the spear into a surviving crowd of mooks server defenses. Before it can explode, I shoot it with Far Out. Somehow, the status effect that it would have applied to a normal victim is added to the entire spear, which promptly shatters as if it had been formed from orange glass. Shards go flying like yet more shrapnel, tearing through a substantial portion of the crowd. Then, the shards all detonate simultaneously, destroying most of the remainder and applying the latent status effect to the survivors of that.

Hm. It could use a little more... PIZZAZZ!

This time, I sling Far Out over my back and manifest Prominence as a whip. I quickly move to another group of server defenses and begin slinging my arm. The whip picks up dozens of dozens (not a typo) of turrets, drones, traps, and the like with all the ease of picking up kindling. I arrange all the defenses in a perfect line pointing away from me before releasing Prominence. In one motion, I take Far Out of my back, scope my target, and shoot a single bullet straight through the entire line. A target board appears at the end of the line, and is struck in the bullseye before exploding into confetti. I pocket Prominence and Far Out before surveying the death toll.

I take advantage of Misaka's sanity to invite her to a meditation. I calm myself and allow the thoughts around me to open my thoughts.
I commune with Misaka so that our visions may be as one.
I open my mind and I let the sensations of the battlefield fill the air. Mostly a lot of violence and gnashing of weapons, the banter of the Godmodders... but let that change.
I place a metronome nearby and allow our minds to be filled by its sound. The constant, rhythmic ticking of the metronome.
Misaka and I sit in a meditative trance, paying heed solely to the constant, rhythmic ticking of the metronome.

This action goes into gaining her trust and sanity.

Okay, I'm getting bored. When's the action?

The avatar in the library immediately starts to read the "Almanac of the Code of Reality, Volume 1: Metachronistic/Tautologic".

In the meantime, on the battlefield, Hezetor talks to Hezalyna as talking is a free action.

Hezetor: You haven't answered me. It is literally a matter of life and death if you posses the ability to survive or not what might happen to you.
Hezetor: So tell me if you will be able to reform your body by yourself. Or do you require my assistance when the moment comes?

Hezalyna will opt to kill some volatile endermen, using the strong weaponry her throne has inherited from its previous tank form, to try out her ability to "gain power on-kill".
The Order Elemental that she herself summoned will try to heal Hezalyna, or to attack the Black Xylobones if that is not possible.
As she did before, Hezalyna will restrain to spawn entities for this turn, holding one for the next turn.

An avatar of Hezetor offers Uzi a plate of spaghetti to her, these incredibly delicious spaghetti are sadly too big to fit her already full mouth, she will have to stop chewing Hezalyna to eat those, this is the only suitable solution.
No, it doesn't matter how big her mouth is, these spaghetti need a certain part of tongue to be perfectly degusted in their flavour and that part is casually the one where Hezalyna is, how random and unpredicted, Uzi will have to stop chewing Hezalyna to eat those, this is the only suitable solution.
Why would Uzi need to eat spaghetti when she has so many tasty things to chew? Well have you looked at these spaghetti? No?
Then take a look at those filamentous delight, observe the perfectly rectangular single spaghetto forming a planned mess following the chef designs. Look at this admirable sauce that moistens the right percentage of the plate.
Clearly she has to eat those rather than Hezalyna.

If she is not actually chewing her, then this action is used to heal Hezalyna.

Miniature Green Sun && Miniature Red Sun = Miniature Spiral Sun (Level 15: 8/8) Complete!

Module || Miniature Spiral Sun = Module of the Spiral Sun (Level 15: 7/8)

Miniature Factory || Module && "Assembly Line expert guide to an efficient factory" && Factory && Alchemiter && ISO's newest release= The Supreme Miniature Factory (Level 15: 3/8)

New: Miniature Spiral Sun || ( (Quantum Computer && Miniature Solar Core) || (Matrice Limitativa && Orb of Pure Energy && Stasis Field) ) = Stabilized Miniature Spiral Sun (Level ??: 1/?)

The Quantum Computer fused with a Miniature Solar Core form together an Miniature Artificial Computing Solar Core (MACSC), a machine capable of immensely complex computational operations while at the same time fit to control and guide the nuclear fusion of a sun without fusing to the heat or breaking down to the pressure, a perfectly harmonized tool that integrates computing and the natural designs of a star. While its construct make it a perfect fusion between artificial genius and neatly natural fury this object is incredibly difficuolt to inject in an active star, rather its supposed duty is that of controlling an artificially created star.

With the Matrice Limitativa the random patterns of uncontrolled plasma energy of a free Spiral Sun are partially predicted and limited, the Orb of Pure Energy allows the control of said plasma, thanks to its natural perfect control of energy in a certain radius, based on the previsions of the Matrice Limitativa. The Stasis Field allows for the control of the decay of particles and the consequent manipulation of the way the nuclear fusion happens inside of the Sun, allowing the Sun to be controlled in its endless expansion of energies, or at least, slowing the self-destructive process so much that it gives time to the Artificial Core to compute new patterns to redirect energy in a non harming way, thus allowing top performance at all times and confectioned re-use of energy.
The consequent Advanced Miniature Artificial Computing Solar Core (AMACSC) that comes fusing these alchemies is capable of controlling the energy of the Sun following certain patterns designed to avoid implosion calculated on the spot by the MACSC, by manipulating decay of particles itself, energy in its raw form and the balance of powers flowing inside the core of the Sun.

For the final creating, the previous assembly of an AMACSC in a suited solar refinery is necessary, after that the two raw Suns must be collected and fused together around the artificial core in a pre-purposed ambient where particles and energy can be manipulated freely, a laboratory with many Orbs of Pure Energy under the effect of a Stasis Field will to the trick (don't you think it would be normal for Hezetor to have such a laboratory? After all he designed and created all these objects).
After fusing the two Suns in this field the AMACSC will start to do its job and will keep the Sun from sudden explosion/implosion now the newly stabilized Sun can be taken away from the containing ambient in wich it was created, it is obvious that the AMACSC is actually a complex and stable way to maintain the Sun in the optimal condition in wich it was forged, but instead of providing control of energy and manipulation of the stasis from the outside the AMACSC provides control from the inside allowing portability of the newly created Sun.

The end result allows a complete control of the energies of a Spiral Sun avoiding the natural collapse caused by uncontrolled energies that normally happens when said Sun is exposed to the ether, permitting the manipulation of the supreme fury that the two infinitely strong Suns are together.

Ok, I tried to use creativity describing the "process" the alchemy is crafted and the (theoretical and possibly wrong) physic behind the objects, I hope it is not higher than level 25 so I can craft it.

(Eye of Odin && (Amethyst Flame && Liquid Starlight) || Eye = Odin's Stellar Eye 5/9 [16]

Eye of Odin: A small ring with a eye forged of various metals and gems upon it, it grants the ability to see otherwise invisible movement- This can manifest in many forms, including teleportation endpoints, methods of movement that conceal the user, and, to an lesser extent that is ultimately dependant on the wielding being's dimension, able to see into higher dimensions, though interaction is limited to whatever would be normal.

Odin's Stellar Eye: A metallic eye with a amethyst crystal iris, and a liquid starlight pupil, that allows for the user to see pure knowledge in addition to it's previous abilities. Thanks to the powerboost granted to it by the magical catalysts within, it can manipulate and shift pure knowledge. allowing for it to be weaponized. Under the proper circumstances, it can easily disrupt forms of movement hidden from the user otherwise, using pure knowledge. In addition to this, it can create and fire out blasts and bursts of amethyst flame and liquid starlight, all of which can be manipulated to some degree.

2+ to consumer of all

This alone has made me reconsider the ban on placeholders from DTG2. OK, not this alone, but you're starting to make sloppy errors out of this, which is honestly its own punishment but I'm getting sick of seeing empty posts. I've even given levels for those alchemies. Dude. It's not illegal yet but it's bad manners all the same.

... what.

Tear my arguments to shreds. I care not for what you do to try and rebut me. You're probably right, too. I am probably just as impressionable as clay. If my friends needed me to drown for something, I would happily drown for them. Roxxanne is my friend, and I wouldn't dream of doing, of giving any less than my all for those close to me. My friends mean more than the world to me, and she is my friend.

Auth looks up. His eyes are still out-of-sight, but under his eyes obvious tear tracks can be seen. It looks like tears are still falling from his face too.

You did. I listened. And I say you're wro-

Shadow Roxxanne says Auth hated Roxxanne. At some point. This prospect is so hopelessly ridiculous to Auth he can't help but laugh.

Ahahahahahah... Hah... Me? Hate Roxxanne? I haven't the slightest as to what you mean, Shadow Roxxanne. You are going to HAVE to repeat whatever would make me hate you before I met you. Because to my knowledge, I haven't met Roxxanne prior to Chaos' Mindscape, and I know as a fact that I didn't hate her for a second while we were there together.

If Auth didn't doubt the words of Shadow Roxxanne before (he most certainly did), he does now. Auth genuinely has no clue as to what Shadow Roxxanne is even talking about.

... Genoa saved my life. My service was the only way I could think of to repay her for tha-

Auth freezes, and begins to float. His eyes change. His irises become yellow. His pupils expand upwards, now looking similar to a reptile. A sharp gasp from Auth signifies he has no idea what's going on.

Many apologies for anyone I alarm! Everyone, please be calm. Auth will be okay... but first off..

The voice that arises from Auth's mouth is by no means his own. It is a voice that is motherly yet forceful, kind yet stern. Soft, and almost melodic. It's easy on the ears. Next, a "bap" sound is heard. Something has changed.

genesisCurator: Oh, that is so much better.

gC: Now! You! Shadow Roxxanne! I know what you are doing, and it won't work.

gC: You can insult Auth! You can insult Alicia! Hell, you can even insult the Masters and the Bazaar! But I will not be insulted for laziness. I am NOT lazy, and I will not be insulted by anyone, especially by the demon that plagues Auth's best friend!

gC: The point is: I do not, and have not, ever hated Roxxanne. Believe me, I KNOW what she did. I know what she's done. And she is by no means the worst being in our reality. So do NOT make assumptions on my behalf. Thanks. And Roxxanne? Listen, gal. There's always someone willing to give you forgiveness. So hold out, okay? It's all going to be alright. We believe in you up here. O-oh, Alicia... come on, don't cry back there, it'll be okay, you know it will be. It's gonna be hard to watch, to listen to for now, but it's gonna be okay...

gC: Okay, I had better go and take care of the hurting Dhampyr back here. I'll tell you too, Auth, I know youcan hear me. It's all going to be okay. Roxxanne will live. You will survive this. So take off, like a brilliant Phoenix. From the ashes, a new hope will arrive, Auth.

Auth returns to normal, his eyes returning to their normal shape, and their normal steel-blue colour.

undyingAuthor: Argh! Genoa! You didn't need to do that...

uA: Anyway. I do not know what you are talking about when you talk about the death of Genoa, I assume the Liberation of Night is what you refer to with the death of the Masters. When you say that I hated you because of them? I believe that theory has been adequately disproven. Genoa's speech gives you enough for her, and the Masters are such a mystery I probably wouldn't hate you if they even did. Permit me to inform you that they do not. Would Mr. Iron have asked you for help had they hated you? Would the rest of them, Mr. Pages, and Mr. Hearts, and Mr. Veils, would they have implored you to help if they hated you?

uA: I think not. I may be ardent and arduous in my ways, but that is because of my nature. I will readily admit I am bound by many chains. Chains of Family, Chains of Memory, Chains of Love. I know I can learn, my adaptions come in making my loadout better. You say my loadout should be better changed to fit a team of usefuls? Shadow Roxxanne, I am the Team Support. Not to toot my own horn, but I am possibly THE MOST important. My job is to keep everyone alive. Without me, everyone would fall quickly. We would be unable to beat you, all would be fallen too fast. So quiet, Shadow Roxxanne, for you are wrong.

uA: Now, what are you talking about not knowing what a Contract is? I know very well what a contract is. It is a sacred oath between two people, for something to happen. People taking out a contract as such can not break it without major penalty. I know very much what a contract is, what it means. I would never dare break one. That's not who I am, so what are you talking about? And even if I did not understand a contract, how does that discredit ANYTHING I've said? You make no sense, your words fully lack the context needed for me to give you a satisfactory reply, apparently.

Auth gives a slight smile as Roxxanne objects to her Shadow's words.

uA: That's right, Roxxanne. Don't give in to her. What she says is an exaggerated falsity. She should shut up. Her slander is by no means acceptable. It is by no means cool, it is by no means something you should stand there and sucker up.

Auth is happy that Roxxanne is still fighting back. Shadow Roxxanne mentioning there's nothing she can do to forget makes Auth think of his most-hated colour of the Neathbow, Irrigo, the colour of Forgetfulness.

uA: Shadow Roxxanne, I may not know what it is Roxxanne has done. I am not sure if I even wish to know. Right now, my only concern is the demon in front of me, who has been plaguing Roxxanne for what seems to have been quite some time. I am unsure if I am able to do anything, I am unsure if I am even the right person to do something if I can. Roxxanne, whatever you have done in your past. I am willing to do what I can to absolve you of your past sins. I swear to you, I don't care what you may have done. I will always see you as my frie-no, my BEST friend. I will always, always see you as the wonderful person I thought you were when we first met, regardless of what may have happened in your past. I am Peter Bartholomew Geraldson, you know that. Why would I tell you my name, when I am well aware that names have power over people, if I didn't believe in you, if I didn't trust you?

Rather strangely, right as Auth says I am P---- B----------- G--------, everything goes dead silent for everyone but Roxxanne. Dead silence. No sound, at all. It's almost as if that's a secret he doesn't want shared too freely. He hopes the more powerful of them, Tazz and Build, can't listen in on that anyway.

Auth smirks when Tazz lifts him up by the throat across the field. Like Darth Vader does, with the Force, presumably. His vision fading isn't a worry to him. He doesn't care. His point has successfully been conveyed. And therefore, he will be fine. Besides, Hesperidean Cider, liquid Immortality... it should kick in. He puts his hand to his throat apathetically after Tazz lets go.

uA: Do you think that I know that it WON'T hurt her to get that thing out? Of course I know! I know that so very, very well! And I want to do what I can to make it hurt as little as possible. I will do what I can to dull the pain.

Auth nods when Tazz supports the plan to destroy the knots.

Shadow Roxxanne asks what is a fairly valid question.

uA: We are doing this, even though it's inefficient, because it's more thorough than destroying the... tumour, in Roxxanne's body... It's a more thorough way of destroying you. Tearing the base of your dress so we can see out, so we can see what you are hiding. We know you are hiding something. And that secret, that hidden thing will prove to be your downfall, I highly suspect.

Tazz makes a guess at how to do it. Auth volunteers his thoughts.

uA: Hmm... well, how about we start by unravelling them? Start at the top. Start by unravelling the ones in the North. We already have one that is basically unravelled.

Auth finally looks at her, his steel blue eyes having taken on a tint of red.

uA: Roxxanne, we plan to continue with this anyway. Please, don't bother trying to tear it out. We will deal with that afterwards. Just... hold on, okay? We'll deal with your Shadow first. We will make her less of a menace first, before we deal with extracting that thing, Roxxanne.

Auth is blown into Shadow Roxxanne's dress. He is slowly enveloped by it... but not before he can make some final words. Similar to how a part member would quip the Heart of Darkness.

uA: Come, then, Shadow Roxxanne. This will not be my last dance.

Auth disappears, and then is fired back out. Were he not abnormally cold, and lacking a pulse, he could be mistaken for being asleep. The look on his face is downright serene. He appears totally calm, in death. Perhaps unnervingly so.

A sword, designed with a speaker and a turntable on its square pommel, attuned to the elements of time, sound, smoke, neon, video, and concrete. Its time magic is of minor potency, only allowing short trips to distant ages and repair of the blade. Its great power over sound lets it send shockwaves into enemies, play annoying music to distract crowds, and simply mess with people. The rest of the powers are a little bit different. At most one of them can be active at a time, and you choose by replacing the disc with one of four elemental discs, hammerspaced within a portal behind the disc slot. When using these discs, you can manipulate the chosen element much like a secondary Conduit can, but the sound magic is dampened slightly.
Changing your disc disables its abilities for that turn.
Sound: A small fraction of damage dealt is duplicated to a random target of the same faction.
Smoke: You gain some dodge chance.
Neon: When you bodyguard, there is a chance that it takes one more turn for an attack to hit you. Rolled seperately for each incoming attack.
Video: You summon 1 Hard-Light Image every turn. These die when hit with any attack, and take damage before you. Maximum of 1 HLI out at once.
Concrete: You gain 1 AC.

As you seem honestly interested in what goes on here, the Hollow-equivalent is... Interesting. There's quite a few funny faces looking at you-and I'm not talking about the funnymouth meme/mimes when I say that they have funny faces. It almost looks like a child's terrible scrawl of a face, with glow-in-the-dark marker. They vary to some degree but they're all of such a shape.

They don't talk. The faces shift like graphical errors but they do not talk, nor menace you. You can't see anything at all, either, not even your hands an inch from your face, but at least they're not menacing you, nor harming you. They just stare.

This place is terribly unproductive! There's nothing to do here whatsoever! Or at least, no chess. Chess would be difficult if you couldn't tell a white piece from a black piece.

The Whole: A pure white Katar. It is a bastion of purity and wholeness. Wielding this... Well, you specifically, Sukard, are actually hurt as this thing drives away the Void in a large area. But it still generates some good feelings while you hold it. It's primary ability, as said, is to drive away emptiness and the Void, creating an extremely large safe pocket. It can also undo the effects of elemental Void and its four corners upon things-or at least, three of the four. The Hexahedron is quite impervious to this trinket.

I finish alchemising Her Lady's Gauntlet, and then put it on. The thing's perfect for me. If you know anything about the Lady of the Shard you can guess the similarity between it and Madoka's fandom. Now, that's not the only reason. Godmodders omnipresently stroke their egos with many, many, hands, and the Old God is an ever swarming mass of hands that occasionally presents itself as a young jester lady.

I swing Her Lady's Gauntlet, and summon five hands, three to stroke my ego, two to act as a headband, because why not?

Now, whilst I stroke my ego, I will evaluate the ridiculous amounts of power I've gained, because canon is broken (does that even matter) and I am apparently overpowered.

I have gotten godmodding - the name of the game for god's sake, I have gotten branded with an extrafictional physical incarnation of change which is probably illegal and by existing probably calls a bunch of things into question but I'll use and abuse it anyway, power copying upon being assaulted, allegedly become a curse manipulator, and also given myself power over pretty potent 'elements' of Fiction, because most of the backstory power you give yourself is by using your Descendancy to write it into reality, and as bad writing, I can simply declare it out of nowhere, because in bad writing you tell, don't show.

Meta perspectives are particularly painful, you know?

I celebrate my pathway to becoming as ridiculously OP as Tazz and past loop Piono with a little victory dance, just like a real godmodder. I also remember a random fact that I'm totally not going to abuse soon, and is totally not going to lead to someone else's horrible death or something.

I then smile in Yuuki's general directions, and tap the back of the Psycho Goggles, before I see things I shouldn't do, such as the Update Terminal. I read back, decide to torment... Nekochromia, today, because Sues are interesting and I can't really do anything traumatic to the former one.

I read back through Sukard's actions and RP, and use my godmodding + metagaming to declare that I know that Nekochromia is Remnant, before creating an alt via Altgeddon. I, as that alt, flashstep to Remnant, wherever Nekochromia is, before flipping the copy of my goggles up.

ANNIS: Hello! I'm Annis Valencia, Matchmaker, and today, I'm going to marry you to a blank slate.

Nekochromia is probably confused. I can't powergame, that's against DTG conventions with other players, but she is probably very confused, head cocked, eyes turning into cartoonish spirals. I then hold up Hitomi Shizuki, a blank slate of a character with only a few character moments, a piece only useful to accelerate another piece's trauma.

HITOMI: Where am I!?

ANNIS: I was, uh, hired by your parents to arrange a marriage, so you'll be dating this person for a while.

Hitomi turns around, and stares at me, before flailing about, kicking, screaming, shrieking like a bat.

HITOMI: My parents would not marry me to this thing!

ANNIS: They totally would.

Shippers are completely insane. This is a fact of reality. They will force their ships on others, and leave them to suffer in a game orchestrated, where they are gods. I am a shipper. You can see where I'm going with this. I call upon metaphysical strings, and tie Hitomi with Nekochromia which only works because Cyan gave me OOC permission to ship them together. I then wait for a bit, kicking the ground, and watching.

ANNIS: Enjoy your time together now, I guess.

I ditch. Sort of. I can find out what they're doing in the update terminal.

Meanwhile, I stare at the Beyond. Two out of three stacks, cure going off this turn? Sure, why not anime it? I'm Neutral, it will probably just go back to PZ anyway.

I pick up the Beyond, spin once, spin twice, spin three times before hammer throwing it into Yuuki-chan. I then force part of it to meld with it, letting the anime girl plague seep in, and infect it. It should now be an anime girl. I wink at Trickle, and recall a previous, confidental conversation which totally happened.

ANNIS: I guess we don't need to rush it down, after all!

I then skip over to Piono, say hi very loudly so he'll actually notice me this time, and start bodyguarding him in the EoTB.

Me: Throw the Beyond into the AGP, bodyguard Piono.
Grendaline: Attack the Server Defenses, bodyguard the High Dragun and EXE.
EXE: Point out that both of your other charges should go up and therefore Token of Friendship should be full, use Token of Friendship on me, and give me your integrity damage passive!
High Dragun: Triple attack Eyesaur 2.0, the Dragonslayer Forward Brigade and Fortissimole revel in the fact that you apparently relate to one of my aspects!

I stop assisting JOE, leaving him with a +4 instead of a +8. Try your best to hurt me. ;^)

...

I'll give you a +2 and a free instant summon (those work now if you put effort into them???) if you do a kek worthy troll attempt that screws people who aren't me and my allies over and makes me laugh within three turns. Let's not pretend I'm one of the more unhinged players.

Piono recalls you from last turn and turns to see you just as you set up your deranged shipping attempt. Your bad writing is bad enough that Piono can somehow see this despite the fact that I'm betting that Nekochromia is miles away and out of his vision range, which, really, is only making all of this worse.

His ignorance of your second attempt to contact him is very deliberate this time.

You casually toss the Beyond into one of the many barriers around Yuuki-Chan, causing it to bounce off and break two, before landing exactly where it was.

Your entities will do as you say! Including Grendaline, who is no longer taunted by Salvadore and will not spend a turn kicking his corpse in. No. That would never happen. Ever.

The Velvet Television-despite you not owning it-seems to buzz to life with a faint image. A hand stroking... Something. Huh. That's quite odd.

Action:

My job of protecting Yuuki goes mostly as planned, so I release my previous actions. Suddenly, those near the iron armor notice their ears pop, though they never noticed a change to start with. Yuuki drifts peacefully to the ground in a random leg. Finally, my energy returns.

I phase out of the armor, still in my expanded state. I am noticeably more corporeal than I was before building the armor, and a tinge of pink betrays my stack of anime plague. I take a step outward, and my new mass makes the ground shake. Sand erupts around my feet, paling in comparison to my previous display, but still making a considerable explosion. I shrink just a little with the step, condensing my body as I do so. With a few more steps, I reach normal size and almost complete material form. Almost. I am still a bit fuzzy, and every so often my face takes on a distinctly anime appearance. My previous body was like anthropomorphic television static compared to my current.

Silence. The voice that echoed across the void, throughout all of time and space, is silenced. The signal has ceased, with the entire multiverse confused. In an instant, a single contact has established a vast mystery spanning all of everything.

And in an instant, it has vanished.

Well, not for you. You, being the denizens of the battlefield. You still feel the presence of the voice, even in its silence. It matters little in this great war, of course. Who cares about a little voice in their head? Some of the people here are used to that, after all.

[color]Well that was a heck of a wake up. Sorry about that wailing everybody! It can take me a while to put my thoughts together.

Anyway, hello! I am Gedeso. I… I really wish we could have met under bet circumstances. Right, now I’m not very useful.[/color]

I teleport out of the armor, looking a little bit compressed, even though I am still as big as the armor. I am also a little bit hunched over. Most notably, I am almost completely material now. A twinge of AGP pink courses through my body, and I wince in pain. I have become a target.

[color]Sorry, everyone. I could have done a lot more if I hadn’t butchered that shielding – I’ve lost my intangibility and gotten myself infected with the plague. Now I’m just another target.[/color]

My shoulders droop a little bit more.

AUGH! I hate feeling down like this. It’s not like I’m dead! I could still obliterate the PZ side with enough effort, so why am I feeling down? I WILL NOT ALLOW IT!

I pick myself up, returning to a fully raised stance. However, my previous distortion when I appeared to be living radio static has returned, albeit as twitching every few seconds. Pulling out my old friends Toxcity Edge, Quick Erosion, and Scorpion, I show that the twitching has not impeded fine motor control in the least.

I think it's time for some attacking. And this time, my mind is almost perfectly clear.

I begin to walk toward the server defenses, armaments raised. However, just as I get within range (for my own weapons, I'm assuming these have effectively infinite range), I stop and lower my weapons. Putting them away, I opt to instead raise my left hand and wave it across all visible defenses.

Correction: my mind is perfectly clear.

Reality blurs, and next to every turret/trap/machine, a simplistic robot drone appears. Each one appears to be perfectly normal death machines engineered expressly for the carnage of war, but the hide an insidious trick. Generally, instant summons such as these would be instantly mind controlled by Uzi. However, the programming in these is hoplessly borked. So borked that any attempt to control or reprogram or alter them in ANY way will cause them to instantly explode.

Uzi's probably smart enough to notice this. However, they are now the closest AZ entities to the server defenses, so they're likely about to be attacked and blow up the turrets anyway. Except these are attack drones that are horrifically unstable, so they are already detonating. Have fun server defenses. That's a whole lot of bomb to the face.

Hahaha! Those are beautiful shades of red and yellow. Enjoy the mayhem, Uzi!

You tack off 3% off the Server Defenses!

50/50 Elemental unlocking +1 userzero activating, giving me a leveling system:
when an entity owned by this player(me) dies, they(I) gain a dream of X, with X depending on the entity. entitys with suicide abilitys do not drop dreams if they die by said ability, and entitys with deathrattles do not drop dreams, unless the deathrattle was willingly deactivated by the summoner. when a dream is used, there is a 3% chance that it will gain the 'lucid' status and become customization once, on the players next post. the player cannot spam weak entitys to get dreams, as the dreams they drop will be very weak
dreams are like abilitys, which sometimes happen alongside actions and sometimes in their place. it depends on the dream.
powerful dreams have (longer) cooldowns, costs(dream tokens), downsides(self damage, only works on certain entitys, etc), or fade after enough uses.
a player can have 4 dreams at once, and have one slot where new dreams are held. these new dreams will dissapear after one turn where the player posted; only new dreams may be stored in this slot.
there are 3 ways for a player to level up:
1) getting preset achievements, such as 'fill up all four slots with powerful dreams', 'get a lucid dream' and so on- I'll have to come up with a list if the idea works. these achievements increase the players level based on difficulty.
2) gaining a lucid dream- while less effective then the achievement(which can only trigger once), lucid dreams will always give some dream tokens and xp when they randomly trigger.
3) killing a powerful entity- any entity deemed powerful (bosses & elites definitely count) will give XP and dream tokens.
dream tokens can be obtained by leveling up, getting lucid dreams, and killing entitys.
dream tokens are used/needed for certain dreams, but only that.
leveling up gives random stat buffs and is very difficult/slow (EG: levels up, gains +1 AC, or +5 mhp, or +1 regen a round)
each level is, obviously, harder to reach then the last
level 5 gives an extra dream slot, and if I reach level 10 all dreams get, say, 25% stronger?

I decide to sane somebody, then change my mind upon realising I have no idea whatsoever who to sane. I instead decide to take a bit of a risk and try to make an AGP copy of myself to sane for a hopefully powerful ally, by method of direct physical contact with as many randomly chosen plauge sources as possible. I probably wouldn't try this, except I have literally no idea what to attack, or defend, or heal, since yuki has way too many barriers, and if this works I'll have a clear path or plan for the future.
I continue in this manner for a while, before deciding to dive directly into a random pool of plague fluid to finish it off if I am not already plauged.

I don't think that the details of what you intended to target mattered the instant you were surrounded by dolls.

You... Uh. I am going to change so much of that, so much. Partially due to legibility issues and partially due to game balance issues.

Lucid Dreams: 5% chance. Not 3%. I hate things that don't round really cleanly. This is counterbalanced by the fact that Lucid Dreams no longer have any customization to the owner's delight, and are instead merely a cut above regular dreams. Lucid Dreams will not drop from entities below 25 posts of charge. Going below may make finding dreams at all a challenge.

Levels: Nonexistent, as you didn't bother mentioning what the EXP thresholds for leveling up are at all. Achievements are likewise.

New Dream Slot: Will only be relevant if you go over the limit. Otherwise, new Dreams will apply to your four main slots automatically, and you may dump Dreams in the four slots at anytime. You can choose which dream to dump if you have one in the slot. If you dump it, it just goes.

Dream Slot Death: Upon death, lose a Dream. Lucid Dreams are more likely to go on death than regular dreams.

Dreams in general: They won't represent what the entity lost to spawn the Dream was like, but rather the counter-strategy for that entity.

You do not summon yourself to the field because that's a lot of changes. As a result, you expend neither charge. Immediately. You may do so until three turns have passed from now, without penalty, in case you need to think it over.

a.k.a i'm too nervous and lost to actually start the game

Welcome, Inerverse! I understand this game gets... Confusing.

Well... might as well get a head start on this respawning business!

I respawn! But, since my future self is cut up, that's eight to go! I can just imagine my dead body materializing in place somewhere on the battlefield, if it isn't there already... can my dead body materialize above PZ entities, and then gross-ly slap them for damage? Can it spawn on top of Uzi? ...Can it spawn on top of You? Actually better prepare before facing that guy, forget that.

Anyways, I'll think of some roleplay for next time.

(12 damage! Even after all these years, evidently I've still got it.)

Your dead body turns red, tilts ninety degrees and vanishes into smoke every time it respawns, which proves to be a non-issue for UserZero and her cronies. You nevertheless do make headway. 1/9 Respawns.

Apologies for any typographical errors made/formatting removed while getting rid of the red text. BBcode is hella hard to work with on TCF.

Richard takes this opportunity to suddenly remember you betrayed him last round, and toss you out of the AG faction, as per your actual actions last round. UserZero welcomes you regardless. Or, well, considering she hates everyone, 'welcomes' you.

I've seen some of this before, but I've never actually joined until now. Here goes! If there's anything I should fix, just tell me.

~ Actions ~
I join the server. Seeing the utter chaos before me, I decide it's a good idea to arm myself. But with what? Hmmm... Perhaps a simple sword will do. And I should think about preparing something to fight for me as well. I'm hungry, so I'll make it a toaster.

~ Alchemy ~
Wooden Sword && Dirt = Wooden Dirt Sword (Like a wooden sword, but even more pathetic. Breaks in three hits.) (1/??)
Wooden Sword || Air = Incorporeal Wooden Sword (What use this has is unknown. Does no damage to anything.) (1/??)

~ Charges ~
I begin to charge a summon. For what? A sentient Canadian toaster, of course. It'll be so excellent. It can make French Toast... With the maple syrup already on it when it's ready! I also begin to charge a powerful combination attack with my two swords.

Charles, the Sentient Canadian Toaster (1/17)
Worthless Combo (1/10)

Wooden Sword && Dirt = Wooden Dirt Sword (Level 1: 1/1)

Wooden Dirt Sword: You know those wood chips that are used in lieu of dirt in playgrounds sometimes? This is what we're talking here. About as useful as you'd expect, which is to say, not at all.

Wooden Sword || Air = Incorporeal Wooden Sword (Level 5: 1/3)

Surprisingly, not useless.

((eh))
ENTITY/UPGRADE SHENANIGANS

Nothin'.

CHARGES:

Shadow of the Blade (33/50) [ALCHEMY]
A weapon from the depths of another time, another place.

True Power(32/50) [VULNERABILITY]
Empowers P. DarkSide, giving him his immense power... at the cost of making him vulnerable.

ALCHEMIES:
Naginata && Spear || Infernal Ruby && Bloody Garnet && Energized Amber && Chainsword = Dark Red Spark (Lv.18 , 10/10) Done!
It can slash. It can stab. It can fry your internals with a well-placed strike. It also has a functional chainsaw blade. Brilliant.

Cutlass || Essence of the Vengeful, Wronged Spirit && Fearless Teal Geode && Bottled Darkness && Pitch-Black Onyx = Risen From Fury (Lv. 20, 10/11)
A corrupt blade, said to have originally been made by a vengeful pirate spirit whom had been wronged in so many ways it was impossible to count. They say this count of wrongs done goes up even when he passed into the afterlife, never to return to this world. He must have the worst luck ever. Wielding his weapon makes you feel sympathetic for this spirit, and feel enraged for the wrongs literally everyone caused him. Yes, even those whom had no direct influence were involved. Thus, he lends his power to the wielder, shredding foes left, right, and center.
((I'll be much more careful with my wording for these things in the future. Thanks for the input.))

Daedric Bow [& Arrow] || Hawk Sculpture && Bottled Inferno && Contained Oblivion && Ether Manipulator Phase Knife = Prophecy of Annihilation Elder Oblivion (Lv. 20, 7/11)

((Huh. I had no idea that Ether was so heavily tied to souls in this universe. I more or less considered it to be a form of natural magic energy drawn from the world and the air around it, if Xenoblade Chronicles X is to be concerned. I would have never even guessed this fact of this universe. No wonder it's considered too powerful! Nevertheless, thanks for the suggestion and knowledge.))

A simple-looking Daedric bow; black and demonic as all getout. The engravings glow a bright dark red, seemingly sucking the light out of their surroundings. The arrows seem to be a bit different, though; the arrowheads are replaced with hawk-like tips (the beak being the front, and the two wings arching back as if the bird was diving onto its prey), and the shaft and feathers replaced with an extremely elongated tail, with actual feathers. They're all a fearful grey and black and, like the bow they're shot from, suck the light out of their surroundings. Getting hit with one of these in something as simple as your little finger, or even just a scrape anywhere, causes as much pain and agony as getting hit with a normal arrow... sent straight into your spine. God only knows how painful these arrows would be if they landed somewhere like there. The bow is able to withstand a lot of force as well; most modern machines can't even pull it back enough to exceed normal arrow-shooting force; meaning that arrows shot from the bow will be as deadly as they are painful. While the arrows are imbued with the powers of both fire and oblivion, the Phase Knife part is what sets it apart from the rest; not only are the arrows sharp and painful, they harm everything while phasing straight through the target, allowing the ability to hit multiple parts of the target, along with multiple targets, period. For some real power, the bow can also temporarily summon a flaming Hawk that locks onto the target, flies into it, and then, while phasing through it, cleaves their insides to shreds with its wings. If you see someone wielding this bow, unless you like pain... run as far away and as fast as possible, for countless reasons.

THOUGHTS
Welp, I was right.

ACTIONS: (Focused = YUKKI)

Well I haven't got anything to do outside, so... ON TO THE TURN-BASED COMBAT! STUFF. Thing. Yeah.
---YUKKI---
Clone!Paranoid!DarkSide was seriously agitated now after losing three soldiers to Shadow Roxxanne. How devastating... as revenge, he Star Breaks again, hitting the (F2) Knot with one square, and the other two going on the (N2) Knot. He bolts to (L7), and takes a drink of a Mana Potion.
---
Paranoid wasn't too happy with Shadow Roxxanne's behaviour. Especially with those who she had no beef with. However, he refrained from interrogating Shadow Roxxanne any further for now, and instead spoke to the actual Roxxanne, as calmly and gently as possible, pausing whenever Roxxanne needed to scream to let out a bit of stress from the pain. As much as it hurt seeing Roxxanne suffer, there was not much he could do but give the most genuine and friendly smile, despite how small it was. Also, telekinesis helps in case it was difficult to hear normally. "Roxxanne... you may have done some awful things in the past... some things irreversible. But despite all that, you are willing to improve as a person. I know this because you decided to substitute your corpse-based diet for high volumes of sugar. And you have helped a bunch of descendants get out of the mindscape; without your leadership, we would have just crumbled to dust. Not only that, but you've been a great sparring partner the few times I actually fought you in the ring. ...Maybe not emotionally; I mean, we both were sort of hating on the other by the second match... mostly being my fault, I'm not afraid to admit; but we both learned from it in the end, I think."

He sighs.
"But even with all your shortcomings... No matter who you were in the past... no matter what atrocities you committed... no matter how awful those two matches were between us two... I never cared for long enough for them to matter. Because all the good you did, to everyone here, outweighs the bad completely, plus a little extra. The various things you have done while the influence of your Shadow wasn't a factor is phenomenal. Back in Chaos's mindscape, you helped us help the various residents of the place out tremendously, making it an overall better place to live. You've already become a better person because of it."

"Everyone who cares for you forgives everything you've done. Auth and his family and friends, Myself and Vasill, heck, maybe even those who reside in the mindscape like Glitch Tem and Chloe... we all forgive, or would forgive you if they were here. Roxxy, you have drastically improved from who you once were, I would presume; you, my friend, are your own person. Do not let the weight of what you did way in the past prevent you from moving forward. And don't be ashamed to ask for help when you truly need it. You need not forget anything. In saying that, while we all can forgive you..."

"The one person that has to forgive your past, above all else... is yourself."

Paranoid decides to allow Roxxanne to think for a bit while he nails Shadow Roxxanne with some complaints of his own, turning to face Shadow. And the rapid shift in tone between comforting and irritated was insanely quick, the smile quickly turning to his default expression... or, well, lack thereof. "As for you..."

"So, what, your plan is to assimilate everything in order to become 'perfect' and recreate the 'perfect' world in your image. Hate to break it to ya, but the multiverse will never become 'perfect', no matter how hard anyone may try. The only option is to make it as much of a welcoming place as possible. And Roxxanne; the REAL one; is making strides towards the right path to her victory by PROVING she's a better person, while YOU, Shadow, resort to killing seemingly unnecessarily and without any real purpose, just to assimilate someone's body into your own, thus refusing to prove that you can improve. Having such a narrow mind about these kinds of things will lead you to your downfall; there are more, even better ways to help the world that you're not even looking for."

"And, the thing is, it's never too late to become a better person, so long as you put your back into it. Sometimes the easiest and clearest way forward is also the worst, and often the best way forward is the most complicated. Think about your actions the next time you try and force Roxxanne to kill unnecessarily; the friends and families you will be tearing apart, the suffering you would cause. That was my mistake when I essentially sacrificed five of my friends to that snake Zetta, and have regretted it ever since."

"Can't do that, then I will have nothing more to say to you."

Paranoid turns his back on Shadow Roxxanne, one thing left to say to her.
"And no, I am not a hypocrite. Just a changed man."

And, obviously, Paranoid wasn't hesitant to find out what Shadow Roxxanne was hiding. He will get to the bottom of this, even if he has to fight to his last breath.

YuukiQuest actions logged. Roxxanne is crying in pain and is screaming louder and louder every second. This would be way more useful if this wasn't the case, as doubtless you're being either drowned out or misheard.

You might have much better effect if you try these speeches later. Shorter words of encouragement may work better.

uA: YOU GUYS ARE AWESOME BUT I DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU'RE SAYING!
uA: I CAN'T DO THIS FOREVER! THIS HURTS! PLEASE, FAST!
uA?: S-stop! Stop! Stop judging me! STOP JUDGING ME! I'M TRYING TO MAKE IT BETTER! I'M TRYING TO MAKE IT BETTER!

Alchemies
(Fluoroantimonic Acid && Polonium-210 && Chlorine Trifluoride && Batrachotoxin && Tetanospasmin) && Lazurite-Steel Dust = Cobaltic Toxic Dust (Level 10, 3/6)
Crafting ingredient. When dispersed and activated, it dissolves, poisons, burns and kills everything it touches.

Cosmic Neutronium Wand Core && 2x Orichalcum Wand Cap = Orichalcum Studded Cosmic Neutronium Wand (Level 20, 5/11)

Orichalcum Studded Cosmic Neutronium Wand: A neon blue-capped rod of the dullest gray, inscribed with various runes of the occult in liquid ichor, blood of the gods. The orichalcum-studded cosmic neutronium wand is the finest and purest arcane implement one can ever hope to recover or design. Its supply of vis is endless, its regeneration incalculable. Nihil Parva shall bow to the wielder of this weapon. Of course, the pure focus on storage has downsides, primarily in that it is restricted only to the use of foci, and not taken to the diversity of the famed Hazel Wand.

(Sano Essentia Singularity && Cognitio Essentia Singularity) && Psimetal Casting Assistant Device: Infusion && Infusion Altar Blueprint && Psi Energy Canister = Sanity Infusion Device (Level 7, 4/4)
A Casting Assistant Device made of the finest psimetal. It only has one spell, which is hard-coded into it: Sanity Infusion. Upon using this on anything, whatever is targeted will become immediately saner.

(Arcticbomb USB && CryptoLocker USB && CIH USB && Maldal USB && Marburg USB) && Violet-Steel Dust = Cobaltic Malware Dust (Level 10??, 2/6??)
Crafting ingredient. When dispersed and activated, all computers even remotely near a grain of this dust will immediately be assaulted by a wave of viruses.

Text for both THE CURE and my Attack later!

ACTION SUMMARY:

PROPHECY OF ANNIHILATION on J2-N2. Then, CONSUME Health Potion.

Not dying is nice.

SPECIAL ATTACKS:

Cure to the AGP: 50/50 (+1 from Cyan, +2 from Piono, +1 from supercool, +2 from Emerald, +1 from Cobalt)

Cure to the AGP: 50/50 (+2 from Abeneutmal, +2 from Cobalt, +2 from Yveltal, +2 from Darkside, +1 from Cobalt)

+2 to Cobalt

Two more charges for the AGP cure! YuukiQuest actions logged. As you nuke the area via Prophecy of Annihilation, the Dress becomes unraveled at one of her knots. You, for the briefest of moments, see something rather green-

uA?: NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO

-before a legion of hands suddenly pop into existence to cover the hole and simultaniously try to reaffirm the knot. You also notice the dress slackened a bit around the area...

...It definitely had no damaging effect on Shadow Roxxanne, though. She's still totally capable of destroying you.

FOCUSED

(Looks like the Anime Girls will be cured soon. Wonder if they stay on the field after they are cured? With the exceptions of the currently sane ones, probably not. Thank goodness!)

(Giant Mechanical Sword || Monado III) && M6 Spartan Laser = Three Hundred (Level 13) 2/7
Description: A sword with ether-based powers. It has a Spartan Laser strapped onto it, for some reason. What other powers could it have?

Infinite Ammo Upgrade && Grenade Launcher && (Smoke Grenade || Essence of Abrus precatorius) = Toxic Grenade Launcher (Level ?) 1/?
Description: Abrin is an incredibly DANGEROUS chemical, 31.4 times more potent than ricin, according to Wikipedia. What do you think will happen when something breathes it in?
Causes Badly Poisoned (-2HP to players and Elites (does not go through AC), -10% max HP to non-bosses, -3% max HP to Bosses/Gatekeepers) when the grenade hits. Add to the fact that there should be infinite amounts of them... However, the grenade only affects 1-3 entities and only 1 can be thrown per turn.

None.

Infinite Ammo Upgrade && Grenade Launcher && (Smoke Grenade || Essence of Abrus precatorius) = Toxic Grenade Launcher (Level 7: 1/4)

Richard giggles at your lack of un-godmoddability, before using raw godmodding power to wipe the whole attack away!

Meanwhile, in the past...

==> Appear
A static filled vortex appears, containing one of the various dark world pathways typically used by Mythic... Because it is one, he's back from a quick jaunt just beyond the normal limits of the server, seeing just how logout-proof it is.

Running out of the tunnel, he tosses a bottle of mental-polution reducer at Sakuya Izayoi, only half expecting a simple potion to be enough sanity to help.

All of MS Paint Adventures on a flashdrive && All of MS Paint Fan Adventures on a flashdrive && All of Pesterchum's Emotes on a flashdrive && Backdoor Code || Meme-Infused Flashdrive = MSPal: Hacker Edition (Level 16) (6/9)

(Amethyst Flame && Jar of Cosmogone Ink && Small Embedded Computer && Mr. Negi Generation 3000’s Glove (Filthy Frank)) && 17-ball (KoL) || Pair of Time Shades = ??? (Level ?) (2/?)
A pair of time magic-infused shades, now infused with a lot of new powers. Tazz pls PREVIEW.

(Amethyst Flame && Jar of Cosmogone Ink && Small Embedded Computer && Mr. Negi Generation 3000’s Glove (Filthy Frank)) && 17-ball (KoL) || Pair of Time Shades = Computerized Cosmogone Shades (Level 15: 1/8)

Computerized Cosmogone Shades: Much can be said of the color of suns remembered and fungal growth, the color of the dream-world of Parabola. There could be a lot of clever words to describe it. I'll use this: Time is like a wheel, most fiery at the edges. The wielder of this can travel through dream and reality, mind and matter, and see all there is to see with clarity beyond clarity-however harsh. Particuarily good at seeing through fogs of all sorts.

OOC: Forgot to remove the placeholder

Charges:

Action
I fight a Volatile Enderman by punching below the waist to make them not teleport.

You murder a Volatile Enderman in this manner! Don't worry about it, though, they're all jerks.

==> Charge Break! A Cure for that Anime Thing... [50/50] +1 from Cyanogynist

Okay, there's too much anime here, and too much femininity, best to help fix that... But healing is exactly where I have no natural aptitude. Guess it's time to fall back on Earth culture for a while. Gathering the power of the American made live-action adaptions of popular anime, and diverting the charge I had intended to use for selfish reasons, I create an anti-anime field.

==> Strife!

Lacrima is useful for all matters of desperate attacks, but its blatant use as saltwater rain might actually be more useful in fighting Mikoto. Charging forwards with a buffer of salt water to draw electricity away, I keep the Seeker's Bestiary ready to hit her over the head with.

Still not sure about that time travel thing,

(Keep going, I guess?)

You add yet another major charge to the Anime Girl Plague Cure! If this keeps up you may well gain more than you bargained for, and for once, in a purely beneficial way.

I run over and hug a different anime girl... lets go Matronymic, she has an Emerald based charge anyways. Provided my other action gives me another stack, this should be enough for full plague
+2 Sp33don

You're almost certainly going to turn into an Anime Girl from that. In fact, you do. That's totally unsurprising. Meet Carnelian, everyone.

You respawn.

Respawn again! Another cut-up body appears somewhere on the battlefield... 7 respawns left!

Meanwhile, down in Limbo, I roll 77777 on a lotto machine. I've grown rich through Limbo-gambling. I keep winning because I'm a good person and have good karma. That's how you win lottos.

Soon, my master plan will come to fruition...

2/9 to go.

You are tapped on the shoulder. In Limbo, I mean.

16/35 Pteranodon Gunner

After my highly successful shoe attack, and feeling a bit cocky, I attempt to attack Metal Gear Ray with nothing more than a bazooka from a dangerously safe bunker that is an uncomfortably amount of distance away from. Once I'm a few good chunks away from MGR, I fire my rocket launcher, which for some reason shoots out a frog dual wielding baby rabbits, which are both dual wielding even smaller baby turtles, which are all dual wielding miniature giraffes, which are all dual wielding pancakes. Not tiny pancakes, the world's biggest pancakes, and they're all not the same mass. Each giraffe is competing for the title of world's largest pancakes, so their pancakes keep expanding, forever.
Once in range of Metal Gear Ray, the frog chucks the baby rabbits, each rabbit chucks their baby turtles, each turtle chucks their giraffes, and each giraffe chucks their ever-expanding pancakes at Ray. Metal Gear Ray is then trapped in delicious doughy goodness, that he can't ever escape for it never stops expanding, that's overlaid with a couple cute animals.

You fail to hit Metal Gear Ray, as Metal Gear Ray is currently a pile of shrapnel.

Placeheld, might even do the rest later or tomorrow (Glad I have lots of time unless if I have died)

Hello placeholder my old friend... I've come to talk with you again...

UPDATE COMPLETE! Not too much craziness going on right now, though I suspect that, for now, is for the best. Forward momentum, people!

A reminder: you can order entities to directly attack server defenses. It'll get easier if you do... And neglecting it too long will make things harder, inversely.

...Well. I've got quite a lot that happens in my post. So much so that, to be honest... well... I feel like almost everybody would develop a hernia if I dared copypaste it outside of a spoiler. So, you know. Here we go. The following text has been put in a spoiler to avoid pissing anyone off with the sheer length of it.

-ERROR! "Mu's Sudden Unexpected Quest To Git Gud" COULD NOT BE CONTAINED IN THIS POST DUE TO CHARACTER LIMITS! Please, jump to this actual post via the quote to read "Mu's Sudden Unexpected Quest To Git Gud"!-

Yep. Quite the big-:red: read, huh. That's the fruits of my... week? Probably. Yeah. My week or so of writing, and writing, and writing. I hope y'all like it.

Welp, let it be said. If this was fed into a cannon and shot at a boss, that boss would be dead. Anti-Zeros, be thankful this wasn't the case.

Murakumo Mu cheerily handpicks a variety of the more noteworthy items, including the odd symbol. A fire is in her eyes, a confidence in her step, a power in her being, something about her beyond reason. Walker is subtly reminded of his Omega chip. Perhaps it's something of that nature?

...Something clicks. Hang on. Haaang on. You know what's happened here-Mu's something more. A descendant? You suppose. But if that's what being a Descendant is, how is it that UserZero was so casually able to grant it to you, Walker, on a tiny chip? This may need further investigating. Assuming UserZero lets you investigate.

If this were Fallen London (and it isn't), I'd say that this would be a Twist in your Tale: You are now Discovering the Secrets of Descendancy. But this isn't Fallen London and you may opt not to pursue this silly tangent, especially not with a war to win.

In any case:

-Murakumo Mu's HP has been increased, radically. Her boss abilities and statistics from before are now back (including the typical immunities of a boss) as is some of her regular abilities, including the return of her Hyper Jackhammer (upgraded to the Infinite Swords System, which now just negates all attacks if activated at the cost of no direct damage and using up both actions) and her Pile Bunker extra actions (upgraded to the Bottled Time Blades, which now pierce but are weaker than her legitimate actions), as well as Aries Armor 20% as a passive (meaning all damage bar piercing is negated by 20%) and a brand-new Special. Something new. Something familiar. Something that, if you identify as anything other than a Pro-Zero, should probably be made to never go off.

It appears she has changed less than you suspected.

You read the book, which goes over exactly what you think it does. It's not a very large book, though, nor is it helpful; there's pages upon pages of conjecture for a lot of curses, almost all of which have better and more concise explanations elsewhere that may not interest you, via metaphysical shenanigans. In other words, only the curses associated with the Gate. From what you definitely know, most of it is actually conjecture or just more in-depth look at some of their abilities, to the best knowledge of sources that clearly do not have hands-on experience with the items in question. With two exceptions. First, you learn that curly brackets designate references to the curse with references to the actual symbol in common language, to keep confusion minimal. And second, you learn about the one curse that even your sources kept silent about.

"{ }"
"Alternative names: Curse of Ignorance, Curse of Emptiness, Curse of Nothing, ZERO, The Alpha Curse, The Zeroth Curse"
"Categories: Tautological Metachronistic*"

"{ } is, in simplest terms, Reality's attempt to define What Cannot in sacred language. There is no actual symbol that does this, even in theory, so logically reality has opted to do so by depicting a lack of symbols. This lack of symbol has often been confused with the elemental curse of oblivion, {∅}, for this reason (as certain languages consider { } and ∅, without brackets, to be equivalent in mathematical meaning; not quite so here). In different terms, the curse { } is the perfect inverse of {.}. {.}, the First Curse, harbors the ability to make things real, the ability to change the nature of reality, and the ability to change how reality is perceived. { }, the Zeroth Curse, harbors the ability to make things false, the ability to lay bare the nature of existence, and the ability to negate all false perceptions of reality. {.} is representative of infinite power and importance, and all that entails. { } is representative of a total absence of power and importance, and all that entails."

"Unlike many other metachronistic curses, especially the tautological, { } is extremely common. In fact, { } is the most common curse in all of Fiction. This is because { } is not so much a curse as it is the absence of all other curses, making it the sole curse that all Unsung bear. The Unsung, of course, are almost literally without power-indeed oftentimes the very basis of normalcy due to it. As it is with curses, this makes them either the attractors of such a curse, or the primary bearers. Dark Carnival lore holds an exemption: The Black, a being that 'Cannot, Must Not, Will Not, Shall Not, and yet nevertheless Do.' As an entity supposedly blighted by both Plot forces, The Black sits outside of the reality that spurned it, one day waiting for a Paradoxical event strong enough to tear open their prison and escape to reality, wherein it will conduct the end of the world and begin the Miraculous World that the Dark Carnival so crave. No hard evidence of this has appeared, however."

"Of its many applications, the Curse of Ignorance, { }, has one of the most famous directly associated with Curses: the ability to zodiac kill. While this seems basic, it is far from it; { } is the very source of zodiac killing itself, and from this ability we can derive much more from { } than from many other metachronistic curses-including that { } serves as a natural anathema to other curses. The more keenly honed the curse is (without turning the item bearing it into nothingness), the more powerful the Zodiac-Killing effect. Theory has it that the purest expression of { } could destroy every curse bar the metachronistic, and suppress all curses bar the tautological. The few abilities of { } outside of this that are confirmed include the ability to lay bare What Is from What Is Real (Existance from Reality); to more generally suppress or defy lesser curses as opposed to outright slaying them; and the ability to see through all falsehoods of fiction and reality to witness the true existence behind it."

"Some believe that, with the advent of Godmodding, that the powers that godmodders wield, while not derived from any preexisting Tautological Curse (part of why Godmodding is so absolutely destructive; a violation of sacred language and code), that the art of Godmodding parallels {.} while the art of Anti-Godmodding parallels { }. These are of course merely theories, as is almost anything pertaining to the physics or chronistics of Godmodding.**"

"*It is also theorized that { } could sufficiently mimic the power of Anti-Godmodding due to its nature of Denial. This one is far less contested, even by those who contest the theory of { } and {.} paralleling Godmodders and Anti-Godmodders, as even if they are truly unrelated, application of the suppression abilities of { } could potentially nullify the effects of Godmodding just enough to mimic their power levels, and that a surprising number of Anti-Godmodders were legitimately without Curse, or in other words, with { }, before they became Anti-Godmodders. Of course, { } is not Anti-Godmodding (and {.} is not Godmodding). The Narrative deems who will be Anti-Godmodders. This is uncontested. The Plot Forces despise { } for its total meaninglessness that yet has meaning. Indeed, every Anti-Godmodder that the Plot Forces have selected have gained curses of a different sort if they did not have them already upon their ascension as Anti-Godmodders. This has given rise to a theory that *all* Anit-Godmodders bore { } before becoming Anti-Godmodders, but no proof is forthcoming."

"A final warning: For all those who already have curses that are not { }, NEVER attempt to apply { }. Regardless of whether or not you had possessed { } before, the fact remains: { } is an expression of nothingness. Attempts to reapply it have, without fail, regardless of entity or power level, annihilated the entity in question on a conceptual level from all entities up to the eight dimension, with ninth dimensional entities still having extreme difficulty recollecting the entities in question, as if they had been very thoroughly Zodiac Killed-furthering connections to { } and Zodiac Killing.***"

"*: Due to this curses nature, it's extremely different even from the other discovered metachronistic curses from its extreme acc."

"**: For more information on Godmodding and Anti-Godmodding curses, please view Volume 9: Godmodding Curses."

"***If you have somehow managed to apply { } after having a different curse applied to you, please contact the author immediately and share all valid research. You will be rewarded handsomely."

In the depths of Yuuki-Chan's mindscape, an unraveled dress forces a conflict to be over, as Shadow Roxxanne hastily kicks two dropped, pitch-black memory orbs away from the island. Only one actually leaves-this one jettisons right out of the Indigo Wisp into the face of idle, unsuspecting Pit. His mind is assaulted by a vision that is not his, eyes turning into pitch. When it is over-and the pitch eyes clear up-Pit reaches for a convenient can of Neuroclean, as advertised by the Ghost of Billy Mays. Guaranteed to remove horrific, Not Safe For Work or Not Safe For Life memories right out. He proceeds to rub vigorously to remove the stain upon his innocence until it is mostly gone. Mostly. He retains enough to remember that he erased it, the most generalized content of what happened without any details, and that whoever did this is almost certainly a jerk.

The other Memory Orb, to Shadow Roxxanne's immediate displeasure, is slammed right into Auth's face. Shadow Roxxanne, in this moment, loses all concentration as she leaps upon Auth, screaming. The actual Roxxanne suddenly ceases screaming, as if tearing open her chest in the mindscape was not in fact terribly taxing at all, and quickly rips out the black and white thing in her. Far more mesmerising, however, was the sight of Shadow Roxxanne forgoing all dignity to leap upon Auth, shaking his head as the memory overtakes him.

Meanwhile, to the surprise of absolutely everyone, the Velvet Television suddenly stops displaying static and whirs to a clear picture! Everyone who owns one quickly pulls it out for all to see, and you get a front-row seat to Shadow Roxxanne shaking Auth from Auth's perspective, as some kind of haze overtakes him.

You, Auth, before the memory overtakes you, see the yellow-irised Shadow Roxxanne scream at you, shaking you, as if that would stop you from seeing what was next.

Your gaze remains dead steady on the remainders. Five. In the adrenaline you barely counted bodies. The Operative looked the most opposed to Talist, which figured. After Auth, he hated you the most. Chlorin twiddled his thumbs with his gun holstered, the least energetic you have ever seen him, almost terrified. Hezetor looked at his knocked-off crown, probably wondering how much power he really had. And then there was the Battlefurry. Battlefiery? Battlefury! Yes, him. He looked downright stoic, compared to the others, but he could barely look you in the face.

"At least, sense enters your heads," You say, in a tone of as much annoyance as possible, as you slam your buttox squarely onto Auth's chest-not like there was anywhere else you could sit. Deeper down, you are thoroughly relieved. Years of constant chasing, constant hunting, constant fear, and that ever-present threat to your head and the well-being of existence snapping like twigs-at last, gone. The madness is over. "You understand that I can't really surrender until I get the Coronator, correct? Please, hand it over... And that'll be all." You say, more businesslike.

Talist is still crying. The idiot lost everything to this tragedy of impulsiveness. "...Why?"

"Why? Do you think a guy just lets a death threat sit on him?"

"...You... You could have..."

Oh, great. Here we go. You're already rolling your eyes.

"YOU DIDN'T HAVE TO KILL THEM! You didn't have to do anything other than destroy the devices! You didn't! You just, you just :red:ing didn't! You're strong, fast, clever-and you have all those stupid powers! You could have just destroyed them! You didn't have to kill anyone at all!"

"This wasn't about the :red:ing title. That was just the main obstacle for the rest of them. They just wanted me to suffer and die. I would have left everyone the hell alone if they didn't opt to starve me to death in a corner of reality! Vengance feels good, however sinful it is! You would! If anything, this proves you definitely would!"

"YOU DIDN'T HAVE TO! YOU'RE SO STRONG! YOU COULD HAVE MADE THEM HAVE ERRORS OR WIPED THE CONCEPT OF IT FROM EXISTENCE OR SOMETHING! I know what you did! You just tried that, realized it wouldn't be easy, and then just, just, just opted to kill them! You keep saying you hate fighting and you hate killing! I know better! You, you love it, you sick monster! You say you hate fighting! You say you hate all the sneaking around and assassination! You could have made the world better-you could have made everything wrong with this world better! That's what she tried to do! You, you, YOU KNEW THAT!"

"The world had to end. It's my job. It. Is. My. JOB! The Narrative's corrupted. The Conflict's corrupted. The sheer existence of Psi and company tore proper time in two, something even I didn't think of as possible. Reality, as it stands, is fundamentally screwed up. Time was an issue. Don't make this about my job."

"YOU DIDN'T HAVE TO DO THIS! YOU COULD HAVE FIXED IT!"

Now you furrow your brow. Perhaps, what he is saying is true. That you cannot shake it out of your mind immediately bothers you. Perhaps he is right.

Too late for that talk. "Perhaps. But that doesn't change anything now," you say. "Please, the device. Else your attempted surrender will become just me picking off the remnants. I can't have you think you're stalling for time," you say, knowing that it is genuine and that he isn't stalling for time. You did so well when they had armies and legions and their full regiment of their best. These lot are wounded, and what isn't of these five are dead or destroyed beyond their ability to work with. Suffice to say that there is no chance they could beat you if combat resumed, as you've really only taken (a ton of) flesh wounds.

"It was already destroyed!"

You stand up. Energy crackles upon your skin. "You're, you better be, this better be, this better be," you look into his eyes, stare into his soul, and realize that he is telling the truth, and worse, he did so the minute it was handed to him, "YOU HAVE GOT TO BE :red:ING JOKING!"

The Operative spoke, utter loathing contained in the cool shell of the machine. "We had no intent of killing you. We would have forced your reformation, but we had no intent of killing you. Had the absolute necessity of reality's annihilation been maintained, we would have allowed it-we suspected that this was not so the case. The irony is, with your slaughter of most of the multiversal factions that crossed you, most of the tension upon reality has also gone. We estimate that reality shall not naturally degrade into a total collapse as you had predicted for about 909 quadrillion years. Of course, we couldn't come at you with anything short of annihilating firepower in the hopes of subverting your best defenses-defenses that did not exist here. We had to aim our best attacks off-kilter so you wouldn't die in a shot. You think you outplayed us? We're alive because no-one here wanted to kill you. That's all."

You stand there, looking at the five leftover idiots of basically a mass attempt to jail his pathetic hindquarters. For god's sake. You are not entirely believing this, not even from them. Prideful bastards. Thinking they know how best to treat this power? You were chosen for it! Chosen by a guy you'd call a saint! You know he would choose well, and he chose you because he believed he would choose well! That's all there is to it! Did these louts think they knew better?

All you wanted was a chance. They wouldn't give it to you in any way. Brainwashing. That was all they'd do.

"... Can people not understand that sometimes the best answer to a problem is to recognize the problem is the answer to a WORSE problem?! God! You prideful, loathesome gits! This is all because you can't accept you're falliable! You can't precieve ANYTHING like failure! You couldn't even THINK of doing anything less than what you thought of as 'the most optimal solution' like it was all a mathematical problem! You don't see me claiming every opportunity and fortune I get like it was actually all part of the plan! God, Descendancy! Everything just falls into your laps like spoiled children! Everything, except ME!"

You stare at them, hatefully. God. Auth, so vicious in swearing his vengance, so utterly loathing that he would spread word to across space and time-HE wanted to actually save his life? The Operative, after such brutal torture of Gladius (all of course to dissuade Chaos into acting against him-a shame that failed), who called him a heartless bastard and swore to torture him in the worst ways possible-even HE wanted to actually save his life? God. Prideful gits. The real story was that they wanted him to hand over his Title willingly, then kill him, 1984 style.

Silence reigns for a moment.

"... You surrendered. Feel free to bury the dead and regret all of this. I'm off to the Drydocks. I've already collected all the information-all the history. At this point, it's first-come-first-serve for the remaining spots. For swallowing your pride to stop this madness, even if it's only to five, I suppose you could take a spot, or something. Just be prepared for a long-:red: trip of shaming to the next reality over this. The rest of the people on there were productive in preserving their cultures and their histories-you just tried to stop it."

You leave. God. Prideful gits. And you thought waving around the title of The Black and the Oblivion Lord was a haughty move. It was over, at least. All over. You just needed to make one last trip to the Drydocks-everything else, you did beforehand. You turn around at the wreckage one last time. Mountains. Absolute mountains. You killed massive things before, but not these many, and not this well supported. You feel some tiny tinge of pride in your chest at the sheer level of carnage. Trying to avoid killing him or not, that was far too much for him to tear down to just chalk it up to their 'mercy' on their behalf. Pff. Mercy. If you could never see any of these idiots again-alive or dead-you'd be happy. You'll think upon this moment and remember only triumph against an invincible army, brought down by your wit and subterfuge-and their pride.

You turn around and walk away, and true to their word they do not attack you as you turn away. You manage to reach the exit just as Talist starts to grieve over Gail.

NO! NOOOOO! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! NO, NO, NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO!

You (Auth) snap out of it, blinking. Shadow Roxxanne stopped shaking you. She is at the corner of the island, now, backed turned, looking over. You think you know what that pile of corpses littering the floor of Roxxanne's mindscape means, now. Shame. Unfathomable shame.

Roxxanne herself is crying quietly in the center of it all. You do not think that breaking those orbs made her forget it at all-if anything, you think it was the opposite. The Universal Essence lays close to your feet, the source of all of this nonsense, perfectly intact. The other six here look at you, silently. They already know. Meta knowledge sharing, most likely.

...So! Here's what's happening, just to keep things moving and keep you informed. Next turn, the Psychonauts (Aka all involved with YuukiQuest) will have the chance to do whatever with Roxxanne. Kill her, cheer her up, insult her, hug her, play Smash Brothers with her, ignore her, whatever. There could be some benefit to it. The Universal Essence is 'yours,' but it's useless for Alchemization, as any use of it triggers the error for alchemizing another item with itself, and trying to alchemize it is equally impossible. It's basically a key item. Oh, and Yuuki-Chan isn't waking up this turn. Next turn, after this is settled.

*UserZero: well that was such an emotional and powerful thing i think i'm gonna cry
*UserZero: hahahaha no
*UserZero: seriously?! whatever, it just proves the timeline splitting thing wasn't my fault!
*UserZero: now, back to the slauuuuughteerrrrr!

The Booster Rings take 10,000 damage from Radiation. That's it. Wow.

The Anime Girl Plague Cure is complete! The eight players, with their powers combined, immediately expend it! The incomplete charges of the other four players band together to form a bit more, giving the total count just under double of what was expected. The sheer mass of power impresses and awes all who see it; this is the largest group effort in DTG by far, ever so slightly beating out Zerisek.

The power expands outwards into a white flash, covering the battlefield. It leaves as soon as it came, however, with nothing to show for it.

Immediately.

soon, from the heavens, a legion of ships arrive, bearing the logos of all sorts of multiversal medical centers, as well as (ironically) a rip in space-time that anime girls are being shoved into. These musn't just be experts you've summoned-you must have brought the attention of the very groups that had taken part in the first Anime Girl Plague Cleansing! They touch down, quickly sending out near-droves of doctors and assistants, united under the banner of a Bespectacled Runemaster. Piono has the faintest recollections... And the OP King, far less faint. In another time, this man founded the faction that kept her under restraint for so long.

"Hello, hello! Goodness gracious did we get the news. I was really only a part of the defense squadron for this whole debacle when it started, but my word, this is glorious! A real cure! Or at least the resources to develop it! I suppose you have captured-"

His eyes swivel to the sane Anime Girls. EXE, Grendaline and Hezalyna look nervously at him, while Yuuki-Chan slumbers peacefully. "Oh, Oooh my. Wow. We hadn't even the opportunity to attempt to restore the afflicted to a straight state of mind... Which, ideally, such a cure would contain. Regretfully, back in the first invasion, quite a few were too lost in the thought of becoming... Well, something else, something they weren't, and especially the biological immortality. More tempting than it looked," he says. "With these levels of resources... Oh, goodness! The possibilities excite. You've done something marvelous, for us all."

The three Anime Girls nervously step into the group of watching people. A few devices are set around a large perimeter, devices that whir to life with effets unseen by any present, devices that astound and surprise even those who wield them-devices created by your powers to do the very things they need done. Logistics, funding, the laws of physics-these things mean little to a squadron of Descendants who allow themselves to go this far.

Time-manipulation devices crunch hours into the span of seconds, and you see scientists whizz about, poking around the trio of Anime Girls willing to go along with this at all, testing new theories and scientific factoids at every turn. Other theories are written down, tangential to these; theories that could fight some of the most dangerous things in all of Fiction, to neuter the Vord, to stop the Assimilator. No branch of science is unrepresented; from the Psychologist to the Linguist, everyone's theories have a place, and all methods, from curse-manipulation to therapy to medicines to surgeries, are considered, condensed, morphed, altered. As time goes on, quite a few of the researchers turn into Anime Girls themselves, but the equipment you have given these lot quickly restrain them, followed by their restoration to sanity, and then their findings on the whole experience are added to the body of knowledge. Soon, as experiments are tried, the more experimental of the lot voluntarily transform.

You are surprised to see that it does not nearly take as long as you would think. Perhaps in part due to your powers, the scientists need nothing for the duration of their studies, nor do their subjects, and quarrelling is kept to a minimum. The end result is that, by what you figure to be about nine weeks from their perspective, the cure is completed-taking the form of some device of their own. A small cylinder, part glass and part steel, with an incredible light of sanity glowing within, lined with curse-runes. The three Anime Girls you have donated now speak speedy, witty and fluent Japanese with their newfound peers amongst the scientists, while the Bescpectacled Runemaster, still normal, proudly shows off the device.

"We have determined that the primary reason the biological cures we had attempted to employ beforehand during the first Crusade failed was because the entire Anime Girl 'Plague' was not in fact at all a plague. Its real nature, in simple terms, is that of an inherently corruptive curse-a curse that manifests through that pink goo that was confused with the Plague. Once we realized that the 'Anime Girl Cells' were basically random suggestion-explaining why people with vastly different biologies, if even that, could be transformed-we made real progress. The Curse primarily represented, basically, the fusion of a female as depicted in Animes and other stereotypical Eastern cultures with that of a zombie, ergo their hunger for uninfected lifeform's brains and their insanity. However, as Zombies aren't insane so much as mindless, mostly, we were able to, in laymans terms, basically pick apart the curse's hold over the mind, and from there started defining it. In effect, we codified the curse into focusing more on its Anime aspect and used the insane/mindless nitpick to forcibly sever the more negative connotations-the insanity itself came first, followed by the hungering for brains and from there a whole host of other stuff, down to the level of infectiousness. We couldn't totally eliminate it-but now it has to be deliberately injected into the bloodstream to cause the transformation, in copious amounts. We also eliminated some of the stereotypical things, so now any infected exposed to the cure shall be able to speak Japanese properly, instead of that inane mishmash of syllables you were hearing before."

"The Codification, once properly released, should be able to affect every Anime Girl across reality-EVERY Anime Girl, including those trapped in their own dimension. We're going to release that soon, at this point we just need a temporally stabilized platform, and that means no Timecrunch devices. We're getting to that now. There's one other thing we wanted to discuss, though, one more finding," The Bespectacled Runemaster says. His brow furrows a bit. "In short, in order to make sure our Codification was going to work, we checked for any other recent codifications-any major changes in the nature of the Curse. Our Chronologists were messing around at the same time and discovered that there was a change in the Curse-exactly one, related to your slumbering friend over there," he says, pointing at Yuuki-Chan. "In short, the curse was Codified to gather as much data as possible about the bearer from the Source Code of Reality via a mental manifestation of their physical body, simultaneously programmed to surpress her personality or personalities, all sent to an anonymous location, but only if the Anime Girl in question was currently under the effect of-and this is a paraphrase-'Plot Manipulating Spices with Purple Coloration.' Yes, really. Very specific, all things considered. I don't even know what that would be, but this specific codification only ever reacted in Yuuki-Chan, which lead to the fight that your allied Psychonauts apparently underwent in there. This Codification was reverted very quickly, too, almost exactly after you had reported slaying that mental manifestation. Of course, the most concerning thing out of all of this was that this wasn't a 'natural' codification. Both of these were created by a paradox."

He sighs. "...The odds of such a specific codification being made and being undone in the same span, to affect exactly one entity and cease existing when that one entity was defeated, all the while everything about her was basically broadcasted to an unknown location, is all very unlikely. The Dark Carnival-I don't know how, no-one does, but the majority of us are in the camp that this was a deliberate alteration on their part. The remaining few of us insist that this is basically regular paradoxical behavior really just nipping us once. What is definite, however, is that somewhere in existence, the total data on one of the more dangerous beings, and perhaps one of the most potent we have ever witnessed in our lives, has been collated and is calmly sitting in some unknown cranny of reality. No-one can pinpoint where, too, which is frustrating, and only really possible via paradox. It's hard to imagine what it'll be used for, too. This being is just saturated with all these curses. We can't do anything about it, though."

"So! With that all cleared up, we've got this codification to release. I'll let you do the honors," the Bespectacled Runemaster says, smiling and handing the case over to the present members of the coalition to stop this. Time is not wasted. The button is pressed without pomp and circumstance-doubtless the pressing of the button itself would be the circumstance.

At once, a much more powerful bright flash than before fills the area. An incredible cacophony is heard as reality contorts, shifts, roars, and updates itself. An orange glow appears for a moment over the Anime Girls, and in a second, all is gone and quiet and normal, or as normal as it gets in the Battlefield.

The Anime Girls aren't immediately affected. They still seem to be in a haze-but now they're quite dizzied and stunned. Unable to move at all. All Anime Girls gain 20% Sanity on the spot, and will complete their full sanitization shortly. Anyone who wants to collect new entities-now is the time. The exception is Carnelian, who immediately resumes their former identity as EmeraldMann and rejoins the AZs.

The sane Anime Girls, Animetized researchers included, all start chatting excitedly with themselves over their new 'peers' in Animedom. A few other Researchers inject themselves with AGP to join the club, waiting for this moment. The other researchers chat amongst them, revealing the AGP entities as capable of english as well now. Or, well, whatever universal language that you all speak.

The Bespectacled Runemaster now turns to you. "OK, so... I know it's very sudden and all, but I'd like to talk about something else. The Dark Carnival is a constant menace. The Interdimensional Police Department and the Paradox Avoidance Enforcement Squadron-they talk as if they're defending reality but they're just bullies who can't agree with each other nor basically anyone else on the rules of time manipulation. The major governing body in the Void, the Pantheon, is basically uncaring to anything happening outside the realms of TvTropes. No-one can really agree with each other long enough to really progress, so there's a lot of bickering bodies in the Void with no real power... And then there's the godmodders. They're everwhere, and the vast majority are heartless jerks who thrive off of other's misery. Sickening, really. I've studied so much-more than just Runes, really. Military tactics and logistics, politics-I was intending to get into that game, but then Runic Magic really tugged me on the shoulder, and in any case I didn't have the resources to really pursue my dream... Ehehehe... During the Cursade, back in the day, a lot of us were kind of all in talk about how this was basically the first real time most of the 'major' Void factions really got together for anything. It didn't last, though, and everything broke up to infighting again-but a lot of people I talked to were really interested in the ideas I put down... In fact, I think most of them are here right now. But none of us were really in a position to make our on stake, so to speak. Nothing to really use. We were, uh. Powerless. No resources. But, it's surprising, really. We thought we were utterly binging on your resources, quite a few skeptics were about in the first, uh, microseconds of the study, but by the time we were finished... Well, half of it was left over. Your power, I mean. The devices, the narrative favor, the money, basically anything and everything that would make Logistical control over an area of void-and a very large area at that-really easy. So, uh."

The man grows nervous. "... With the success here... Plus, the relative newness of Indalo as a faction in the Void, mostly unsettled land that a lot of the more war-like factions and the typical wolves of the void are drooling at the mouth to look at... And your relation to them... Urk. Well. Uh. I'm very nervous about this is all, but with your help-really just what you've already allocated for us-we could, uh, start an initiative. The closest I could get to it is basically the United Nations, except applied to the Void, kind of. Really just a group of people who want to make the Void less of an opressively dark, horrible place to live in. Uh, I even had a name for it! Uh, I was gonna call it, uh, call it... We were going to call it... Uh, we kind of decided that if we were going to do this thing, that I suggested, we were going to call it-the faction, I mean-we were going to call it the Inter-Universal Peace Corps. Yeah, that was it."

Piono scratches his head. Perhaps something about this seems ever-so-slightly familiar to him... No, no it isn't. It isn't familiar. But it is interesting.

"We'd need the support of the locals, but we think we could win them over, with just a bit of help. Your help. You're the kind of backers that could really fuel us. With just your contributions, we could sustain ourselves for... If I may be frank, centuries. Millenia, even. And that's not counting what else you could supply for us. I mean, if you would be so kind as to allow that. We'd even be willing to change the name, err, to something that isn't completely undignified, if you'd be inclined to dislike the current one."

Due to the above events, all the Anime Girls, bar Carnelian, that were not sane by this EoTB are stunned, even if they are considered sane now. Your sanity attempts will also be supercharged. If any Anime Girls are not fully sanified by the end of the next round, they will leave. They have also immediately gained 20% Sanity, and the effects of any Sanity effect will double immediately.

As for the decision to back this newfangled Inter-Universal Peace Corps, well, that is the decision of all those who made the charges. Cyanogynist, Auth, Pricey, TT2K, Talist, W32Coravint, Neaman Lion, Abeneautmal, and EmeraldMann, well done.

----+----+----+----+----

*UserZero: WOW! THAT WAS SUCH AN EMOTIONAL ROLLERCOASTER THAT I THINK I'M GONNA BURST INTO-
*UserZero: ok i cant even
*UserZero: seriously?!
*UserZero: You're delaying the fight!
*UserZero: NOW, back to the slauuuuughteerrrrr, for real this time!

The AGP entities are stunned for the round, so we skip straight to Eyesaur 2, who finally gets around to eating that Gazebo. Nom. It's gone forever.

The Volatile Endermen and the Newborn Enderdragon spazz for a moment, before a moderatley-sized flare of Refiner's Fire bursts forth and blasts Throne II in the... Throne. It only takes 10,000 damage.

Project Isthmus goes on overwatch, ready with its weapons to kill anyone who tries it with Yuuki-Chan.

EXE, as politely asked, uses Token of Friendship to gift Consumer her Integrity Damage passive. She then adapts to be able to control when the Crimson Scale will detonate, rather than it just going off the instant its charge is complete.

Grendaline takes The Axe (as in the Terraria item of that name) and immediately goes to cut down some suspicious looking 'trees.' The server defenses take a 5% hit!

...The Failure proves to be a massive jerk and immediately restores the Server Defenses by 7%. Everyone is reminded that he is a jerkbag.

The High Dragun tears through Fortissimole, a member of the Dragonslayer Brigade, and Eyesaur 2, all for 20,000 damage each. Everyone is reminded that he is dangerous and should probably be dealt with.

Piono pulls out his Golden Pick, something that a few of you remember all too well, though it seems to be the only real item of noteworthy power on him. By its golden glow, a shape forms, a construct made with Tetronimoes! A 4D construct, at that! Fortunately its shape is assumed by the vast majority who can't comprehend that, Piono included, but then he creates the mental image of what that really looks like and shoves that into the unsuspecting mind of the Terror Slime, dealing 30,000 damage! A Terror slime splinters off.

Piono: I've been given orders that, well, basically, 'kill anything that remotely seems like a bad guy.'
Piono: Notch might be a little bit biased in all of this, but I'm sorry, he definitely looks like Steve's evil twin.
Piono: ...Steve?'s evil twin. I don't get what is with those question marks.

Throne II uses The Struggle! It was given that order, very concretely. However, its targets were never mentioned, so Throne II opts to get creative here and look at those other ones, with the blue. It basically hasn't really touched them. Why not? Waves upon waves of (somehow radiation-free) Hyper Light bullets flow out of the Throne as it becomes one with the Refiner's Fire, and Athena as well as the Vanilla Bean are caught up in the warpath, taking 35,000 damage and getting a Hyper Light status effect, which means they're going to take double that on the Throne's next turn!

A friendly reminder that this thing is a boss, a really menacing boss, the kind that can damage UserZero/The Failure/Richard on death! You should probably go out of your way to kill it!

Mikoto would normally concentrate without orders, but he sees a *massive* opportunity. And he's Neutral. It makes mildly no sense, but the Battlefield has traditionally been a zero sense zone. Mikoto uses his standard Darkfire attack to smack Athena for 15,000 damage... And exdending the duration of her debuffs by 1. Yes, even that one.

A friendly reminder that Mikoto is also a really dangerous boss!

The Vanilla Bean is much better off now that its half dead, surprisingly. It casually heals Hezalyna for 45,000 HP. Its status ticks down, dealing 35,000 damage.

The Sanitizer's beam falls squarely on Melona, its' targeting AI realizing that this would mean the Sanitarium's effect would restore it to full when weather procs. Genius.

Hezalyna reminds her Order Elemental to actually come out. She then casually murders a Volatile Enderman, gaining +2,000 attack damage in the process. It's very small, yes, but snowballing effects like that really don't end well for most.

Lucian throws a paper airplane into the Indigo Wisp. in the Mindscape, Eris is hit in the face by this very paper Airplane. Text is written on it: "What am I supposed to do? Seriously!"

The Terror Slime crushes a Beatholder under its body for 30,000 damage! Its mini-Terror Slime roughs up a Xylobone for 5,000 damage.

Athena is about ready to murder both of those smug Neutral bosses. OK, Mikoto isn't smug, but Throne II definitely is smug. Smugger. That rhymes with Mugger! Athena proceeds to open up a portal to the Elemental Plane of Muggings, causing a swarm of elementals in ski masks to hold up Throne 2 at knifepoint, demanding it's HP in exchange for its life! Throne II points out that this situation is a Morton's Fork, before they name the price of 40,000 HP, and it casually loans it off from its main HP pool. Athena regens 20,000 before taking 45,000 from both of its status effects. Yes, somehow Mikoto warped time to have a hyper light barrage of death last even longer for Athena than for the Vanilla Bean.

The Dragonslayer Forwards Brigrade is well enough infuriated by the High Dragun, and as a Draonslayer squadron, they figure they have the tools to really put a damper on that things day. As it turns out, they definitely, definitely do, teleporting onto its backside and stabbing it with knives! Its own knives, even! The knives that also wield tommyguns! Oh, the painful irony! The High Dragun takes 60,000 damage, a bonus due to thematic supereffectiveness. He can't even curse them-they used his own knives!

Emerald is amazed at the fact that he is now a she. Nor is she utterly tasteless in physical appearance; you could probably pass for an actual anime character in an anime of actual taste. One who definitely has to have carnelian red hair (and bright brown eyes that look almost red), and one with a penchant for fisticuffs, judging from those gloves, but nevertheless. Your charged skill, Metachronistically Abrupt, is merely a 'supercharged' regular action, for the record.

The Pontificate Oceanus, Captain and Kerbal opt to execute the rare and highly dangerous triple charged attack combo of death! The Pontificate executes Whirlpool first, creating an ocean out of a convenient pond that the Throne was hovering over! A watery death hand rushes from this ocean and starts dragging the Throne inwards! (The whirlpool itself is at this point rather irrelevant). The Captain steps in with Command, rushing over to the nearest Testificate Village unlucky enough to be within the wide field of the 10,000 by 10,000 block radius, and quickly offering them lucrative jobs as space station weapons operators, flooding them with Emeralds! His logistical charisma (aka mony) near-instantly charms the Villagers into his service, wherein they march to the nearest space elevator, made by the Kerbal. The Kerbal, indeed, has been busy using Spaced Out to construct the Multiverse's ninth-most complicated death satellite, with enough lasers, death-causing bits, rockets, odd kinetic-propulsion devices, and more, all wrapped up in a neat, donut-shaped package. All it needs is a crew, a crew that has just come aboard! They have been briefed quickly; press EVERY red button they see! They oblige, activating all the weapons systems at once!

As the Throne attempts to struggle away from the watery hand, one of its tentacles cant help but notice the subtlest of red lights, for a second. The whole throne suddenly flips, and tries drifting out of the way, but the hand, the hand, it's keeping it from drifting!

Then the entire Throne was utterly nuked. Well, that's what you thought, anyways. In all reality, it actually was left mostly untouched. Well, not really, but the main structure is perfectly fine. The entirety of the Throne's tentacles, on the other hand, were utterly shaved off, leaving them as naught but twitching limbs on the ground. The Throne itself remains eerily intact... But with all the tentacles dead, no Hydra craziness will occur, so a few moves are now permanently locked out for the Throne-Briar of Nuclearity, Radiation Distribution, Medusa and Consume.

Pontificate Oceanus and The Kerbal then take 2 damage from bleeding.

Gaige looks around rather nervously, basically having to follow up on that. She just kind of shoots the Pontificate in the face, for 5 damage. Shortened to 2 by AC. Deathtrap comes in for double trouble, adding in another 5-turned-2 by AC.

The Beyond casually continues to Generate more mist. No damage is taken from Petrification. The Throne didn't pick the best target for that attack in retrospect.

"The Unholy Moley, Underworld Bully, I will crush those who oppose me, just like Mummy told me!" says Fortissimole, and with that the Black Xylobones and Beatholders spring into action, both bearing down on the Vanilla Bean, utterly destroying it (they weren't keen on 80,000 HP being restored to their allies any more). Fortissimole springs into action himself, digging into the ground. His re-entrance to the surface is explosive enough to deal 30,000 damage to SparkedTheorem!

Murakumo Mu is staring at the new sheep to the slaughter. Might as well start off in a manner that does not put her at the center of attention, though. Something unobjectionable. Eyesaur 2 would probably object, but no-one else. Great! She pulls out one of her newest trinkets, a Sword of the Cosmos! In its home environment, this blade, infused with elemental infinity, would be enough to kill nearly anything imagineable! Not here, though. That's naught but something relatively interesting. Nevertheless, it'll take a hell of a piece out of Eyesaur 2. She gleefully leaps to it, crashing upon its spine and dealing a total of 100,000 damage across two attacks, and rending four eyes to uselessness. She's just as mute as before, but far more emotive. You can tell that this level of power was one she was just waiting to get back to.

Richard +2s Sp33don, Neaman Lion, and Yvetal! Noticing a big opportunity, he quickly rushes to Psychiatrists-R-Us, and with a few strong hints at what the owner's relationship with toilets will be like in the future if Richard isn't really satisfied, he comes back with multiple genius-level psychiatrists. They're terribly confused as to why they have to operate on anime girls that aren't even really all that conscious, but they do anyways, mostly by sprouting typical phrases in their 'usual' sessions and occasionally showing them inkblots. This somehow restores 20% Sanity to Matronymic and Lillie!

UserZero +4s all Pro-Zeros, and pulls out a cauldron filled with Sanity brew! She smashes it over the head of Buddy Armstrong, somehow doing no harm but maxing her sanity! She'll definitely be PG. Some of the brew splashes on Ran, for 10% Sanity. UserZero then pulls out Nine cauldrons, tied together, all filled with Sanity brew, and smashes this over the head of Junko! Somehow, this doesn't hurt her, but restores her sanity to full, and splashes Lucy with 20% sanity restoration! Junko will also almost certainly be PG. UserZero then pulls out a bundle of twenty-five cauldrons, all filled to the brim with Sanity solution! She smashes this over the head of the Terror Slime! Somehow, the cauldrons breaking do no damage, but the Sanity Solution turns out to be really Basic, which causes the Terror Slime's acidic composition to neutralize, dealing 100,00 damage! This still generates a Mini-Terror Slime, but who cares. UserZero then spits out all that stuff she was chewing right into Yuuki-Chan's defenses! She can't bypass them freely anymore due to the reduced Server defense, but she can do a lot of damage to them, destroying everything bar the Patrons! Finally, she gets into a stance, as if she's going to try to beat Yuuki-Chan to awakening. Doubtful she'll get a kill at this rate, but almost certain she could do a lot of damage.

*UserZero: YO PRO-ZEROES! NOWS THE TIME! TRY TO SMASH HER UP GOOD!

The weather generates another Newborn Enderdragon and five more Volatile Endermen, as well as 10% more sanity for all the Anime Girls! This causes Melona to max out as AG, and for Ran Yakumo to max out as PG! I repeat: Next turn is the last turn to even consider restoring sanity to the Animes. Anyone who isn't at 100% by the end of next turn leaves!

OOC: I'm technically at least partially responsible for the founding of the I-UPC?! I know I threw a lot of assists in there, but the credit seems a little too generous. In that case, I greatly appreciate this call to fame and the ability to call myself partially responsible for the plague cure!

This is spectacular! I am so proud to see everyone cooperating for a singular and momentous goal. Good job everyone, good job indeed.

Oh, and please, don't worry. There is no need to be so nervous. You have performed above and beyond expectations and developed a cure for one of the most dangerous of... well, curses, and with only half of the resources provided. I see no issue with putting the rest of it to yet another noble goal. I commend you all, and wish you luck.

Then, to myself and only audible to the most perceptive of descendants:

If not for the associated paradoxes, I would take this chance to avoid the dangers that will follow. I am consoled in knowing that there were good intentions and at least a few beneficial accomplishments. I shudder at the consequences of our actions

Forgetting the server defenses, I turn to Sakuya Izayoi. I think it's time to make some friends. As such, I teleport both myself and her into a pocket dimension connected directly to the battlefield. It is spacious, though not quite as large as the entire battlefield.

I immediately begin constructing a mansion to rival the size and hospitality of that of Doc Scratch. Rather than begin with the front room and expanding from there, I build a master bedroom for Izayoi, with an attached kitchen, bathroom, and balcony. I decorate the room with nearly a hundred animal and yokai-inspired plushies, all made from the softest fabrics and filled with the squishiest stuffing, and naturally with the most adorable designs I can imagine. The room is painted with a gradient of a dark blue at the floor that fades into a sky blue as it reaches the ceiling. The molding is cut from polished gold, bordering a floor painted to resemble a night sky in the style of Van Gogh's Starry Night. The ceiling is likewise a painted mural of a partially clouded sky, also emulating Van Gogh's style. The doors fit almost invisibly into the walls, noticeable only because of their bronze knobs designed to reflect the Sun. For a girl accustomed to being a maid in the Scarlet Devil Mansion, occupying the master bedroom must be odd. If she seems worried, I reassure her:

No need to worry. You have been released from the service of your previous masters – and they are fine, no need to worry about them either. I know this may come as a shock, I know, but everything is fine. Think of this as a reward for your long and excellent record at the Scarlet Devil Mansion. However, if you prefer not to retire just yet, feel free to integrate with the servants at this estate. You can find them down the stairs and to your left and right; I imagine they will be pleased to meet you.

I offer a wide smile before continuing the tour.

The bathrooms and kitchen are clean and minimalist, though are more than accommodating. The balcony overlooks a fantastic garden the size of a hamlet, with hedges trimmed into mazes and statues of awe-inspiring and beautiful animals from a variety of universes. Flowers abound, landscaped into several stylistic arrangements radiating out from a central fountain modeled in the shape of a shooting star pointed back into the heavens. There appears to be no way to access the garden from the balcony.

Off to the either side of the balcony, stairs lead back into the ground floor of the mansion, which is mostly an elegant array of intuitively navigable halls. A long hall extends to the left and right of the base of the stairs. Just across from the base of the stairs is a large, ornate pair of double doors leading to banquet hall. To left and right are servants' quarters, kitchens, and storerooms, all high quality, with the quarters being very comfortable.

The doors leading to the banquet hall are made from silver, carved into sequence of detailed shapes to tell an unknown folk story. The doors open outward, revealing a massive room suggesting the dining hall of Hogwarts, but with two more tables and all the walls possessing the same magical illusion of the ceiling. Crystal chandeliers hang from the air creating a breathtaking star-field. On the other side of the banquet hall is another door, identical to the first, leading to an open space connected to two more hallways

These hallways contain the guest quarters, offices, a library, living spaces, baths, and other recreational areas. Unbeknownst to the guests, their spaces are nearly identical to that of the servants, who are very grateful for the generosity. The chamber itself in nearly as tall as the banquet hall and just as fabulous. Murals of comets and meteors falling to earth cover the walls, and an enormous diagram of a foreign solar system takes up the ceiling. Across from the banquet hall doors is an even larger and more grand set of doors leading to the outside, which is another garden and the portal back to the battlefield. These doors are far more complex than the other two pairs, and are made from an unknown but lustrous alloy. The story told by the carvings on these doors is too complex and long to fully read, and in fact appears to be infinitely complex to the point of telling every story that has ever been, or ever will be, told simultaneously. Encompassing all of these stories appears to be an overarching story of all of existence, its grandeur so great and intricate that its details cannot be fully gleamed from analysis of the door.

I have populated the mansion with enough people to fill three out of seven banquet tables and distribute them about the rooms and gardens, as well as a servant staff of nearly one hundred. All of them have distinct personalities and even entire lives, but all are friendly. I give Izayoi a tour of the mansion, introducing her to all of the people she can bear to meet and showing her every beautiful detail of the mansion. I give her a cursory overview of the servants’ quarters, and she is surprised by the quality of the accommodations. I confirm that these are not the guest rooms, and to prove it, show her the real guest rooms. She is even more surprised to see that the only real difference is the amount of detail that goes into the wall murals and other decorations over the servants’ quarters, while the bed and bath accommodations are nearly equal.

I follow up with the recreational rooms, of which there is an extensive variety. First up is a pair of movie viewing rooms, currently playing Kimi no Na wa (Your name). One plays the Japanese dub, and the other plays whatever localized dub the viewers request. Down the hall is an indoor gymnasium, so large as to contain a separate football (American) field, football field (normal), basketball court, baseball field, track and field ring, sparring area, and a variety of other arenas for various Olympic and alien sports. All but the baseball field and sparring arena are currently occupied, and I invite Izayoi to a duel – after we finish the tour, of course. Next is the library, which appears to be a layered dimensional space containing infinite space for every book publicly published in all the multiverse. It extends so far into the distance that the shelves converge into darkness. I offer to let Izayoi checkout a book any time she likes, and she can always leave with those books if she wants.

Having reached the end of one hallway, I lead her to the rooms on the other side. First is a snack room designed like a retro, space-themed ice cream parlor, but with infinitely many more options to choose from. Appending the parlor is an extensive arcade, containing every arcade cabinet game ever produced, even Polybius as well as consoles and virtual/augmented reality gaming rooms. Past these are rooms for all manners of hobbies, from carpentry and metal working to genetic engineering and potion alchemy. Next door is a training room fitted for any number of battles. Off to the side is an array of texts of war strategy, war tables, maps, and strategy focused games. The walls are reinforced with another strange metal that seems to shiver and vibrate in the corner of the viewer’s eyes. There are no marks anywhere, as if the room is unused. However, two armored figures appear to currently fighting to the death at the center of the room, each carrying energy weapons and hurling bolts capable of severing atoms on impact. The metal is unaffected by this.

Oh dear. I told them not to duel in here… You see, this metal is completely impervious to all attack, but can only exist in this space and never be moved. In fact, it is not truly a metal, but reality itself compressed to the point of becoming a barrier. It has a curious maddening effect upon anyone occupying its bounds. These poor fuels will be unstoppable until one or the other is dead, and the victory, upon realizing her actions, will likely take her own life. I only allow people to duel if I am present to suppress the effect, but I myself must not engage in any battle to maintain the suppression… Let us leave them. There is nothing that can be done.

I close and seal the door, a tear escaping my eye before I turn away. Izayoi notices, but decides not to mention it.

The tour of the inside of the mansion completed, I lead Izayoi outside to explore the gardens. They are just as extravagant up close as they are from the balcony, and we spend hours (from our perspective, time flows differently here relative to the battlefield) wandering the expanse of finely curated vegetation.

We pass by meadows of unordered flowers and expansive plots of carefully selected flowers. The latter, when viewed from raised platforms, become beautiful paintings made from the colors of the flowers. Some of these paintings also imitate Van Gogh’s style – often by necessity, as the resolution is so low that the flowers become like blotches of paint – while others are gargantuan representations of unusually beautiful galaxies, star systems, and nebulae. The largest of the botanist’s masterpieces has a greater area than eight city blocks and is entirely grown from magical flowers that shimmer and shift between different colors. Together, this creates an image of an accretion disk rotating around a black hole while massive blue stars drift closer from the sides. As Izayoi watches, a solar flare rises from one of the approaching giants, then distorts and falls into the black hole. I smile as her jaw drops, then I lead her away.

We wander through at least a mile of hedge mazes, seeing more flower plots and trimmed hedge statues along the way back to the mansion looming in the distance. We surely did not see all of the gardens, but I will leave that for her to explore once she has recovered. It is by now time for dinner in the mansion, and the master of the house cannot be late. Izayoi would have no problem getting there on time through the use of her time manipulation, but I take care of it with my own manipulation and flash stepping. Ten minutes before the dinner is to start, I throw open the doors as dramatically as possible and make an announcement:

The master… HAS ARRIVED!

The hall, previously filled with chatter, quiets down. Izayoi shows embarrassment for a moment, and then resounding applause and a great whooping comes from the guests and staff alike. She blushes and bows with a jerk, then stiffly follows me to the main table. She gets the head seat, while I take the one to her left, smiling all the way.

Don’t be tense. Just enjoy the dinner. You have as much time as you like.

I snap my fingers, and the wait staff throw food through the air. Every serving falls perfectly onto platinum platters, without so much as a crumb out of place. The crowd quiets again as Izayoi takes the first bite. And with the following smile, cheer again as the meal officially begins. The feast lasts three hours, and boasts foods from all human and alien cultures, available on request. Guests tell spellbinding tales of adventure and exploration, ranging from the creation of new species to the discovery of preexisting ones, from the discovery of lost treasure to new contact with previously undiscovered species, and from glorious battles of space armadas to harrowing diplomatic negotiations. Eventually, everyone is either stuffed, drunk, exhausted, or some combination of the three and so find their way back to their rooms. I take Izayoi back to the master bedroom and have a servant watch over her in case she needs anything. Then, I take my leave, heading back out to the battlefield. Thankfully, there is still time to save one more friend.

>Sukard: Revive!
You return, with the Blade of the Bass Knight in hand, and HOLY gorilla!
>Action?
Sukard's left eye turns red, with the Time symbol on it. He focuses, magics up a pair of headphones with a large aura of healing, and places them near Roxxanne. The only thing that will play in them for now is Darkside and Auth's speeches, so she'll have a chance to listen.

His left eye refocuses into the memory, and he freezes up from despair, until the memory gets deleted by his internal anti-virus. There is some news man was simply not meant to get right into.

He throws the blade into the sky, pours all-purpose cleaner then soft green echo eyedrop antidote on the memory orbs, and sits down.
"It's okay, it's okay. You're not the Black anymore. You wouldn't do that. Not to us. Not to anyone. Gail's still alive. Operative's still alive. Chlorin's still alive. Writerdude's still alive. I believe Dimitri from my old squad went into that scrub Chaos' mindscape when you were there, and he's still alive!

The awesome thing about ambiguous sentences is that you can twist them to your use. Maybe you weren't the Black at all!

...I have noooo idea who the Black is. Sounds like a real bad guy. Who you are not."

Sukard removes his scarf, and looks at it while talking.

"Don't worry. We're all as gorillaed up as you are. I went through loads of ridiculous gorilla, and look at me. I got better. We all got better. The past is dead. The future has not arrived yet. What matters is what you do in the present.

It's a gift. /\ gift of many roads. Some that may lead to nowhere, but many more that lead to awesome. Trust me. It'll all be alright.

You must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer, it is the little thing that leads to great oblivion. The Black, and all that gorilla, will be no more. I think.

/\lmost nothing from that timeline can touch us. /\nd if something does, we hit it in the face with a chair!"

"/\nyway, here's the eternal writerdude, because he can clearly do this inspiration stuff better than I can."

Sukard steps back into the Indigo Portal, and into the Time-Twitching Tower to get some video games.

After Auth comforts Roxxanne, Sukard goes back into the Roxxyscape, with a Wii U, a copy of Sm4sh, around 8 controllers, and an interdimensional power source.

"/\lright, here comes the emotional ambulance! WII U WII U WII U WI-"

He notices Auth hugging Roxxane.

"/\ww, how sweet of you, writerdude!"

The crew then settles the bad vibes in Smash.
----
In the middle of the first ever Roxxyscape Game Night, Sukard pulls out a Golden Mr. Accessory, and bestows the Smile of Mr. A upon literally everyone he knows. Even Shadow Roxxanne. Everyone feels a wave of happiness come over them and try to obliterate the despair in the air.

"You got yourself a deal, peace guys. I'm all for making the metaverse less of a gorillahole.

For a name, I think I have an idea. Warehouse 909. It's named after one of the well-known clans in the Kingdom of Loathing. But still, Inter-Universal Peace Corps is a pretty good name too. I'm leaning towards the latter for now."

He tries to make an Elgrivine hand to shake the Runemaster's hand, but he doesn't have enough practice. So he goes out of the Roxxyscape, shakes the Runemaster's hand, goes back there, and fires off 0_TAZZ Recovery, firing another shockwave of hope around the mindscape.
----
Meanwhile, at the chopper, Xtrullor's still proccessing the fact that Hitomi and Nekochromia are married.
----
Meanwhile, at the Musical Defense Squadron, Razihel is practicing in the war scenario room, when he gets interrupted by a messenger.

"We've got a large-scale Witch attack, sir. It started around the same time that the TVs were hacked."

"Let me guess. Black memory orb. Basically a wave of despair."

"How'd you know, sir?"

"I've been keeping track of this war for a long time, kid. We'll get right into it."

"Alright, sir."

The messenger walks away, and the scenario room is once again empty.

Auth cools off after everything unravels. He sees the green corpses, examining them for the little time he has, does one of them look familiar? He's not too sure, so he turns around and is smacked in the face with a Black Orb.

He collapses. Immediately. Right onto the ground. The memories flow almost immediately, allowing him enough time to see Shadow Roxxanne shaking him, to try and stop him seeing what he's about to see.

uA: I'm... sorry...

He can't stop it. And he's set into the vision.

He sees the memory, from the point of view of the maker. Immediately, Auth sees his own corpse, blood red skin, stark white hair, great black and gold wings. Searing red trident through his chest, corpses around his body. Many corpses of demons he summoned. He has that sharp-toothed smirk. It looks like he tried to kill... me?

In the mindscape, Auth curls into a ball. He says nothing, but it seems like something he's seeing is extremely traumatic, petrifying for him. Is it his corpse? Is it his specific state? There are other questions. Why is he dead, what happened to Genoa, why hasn't Hesperidean Cider kicked in, bringing him back to life?

Auth watches as the corpse of Gail is thrown away, leaving Talist wracked with grief. In the Mindscape, Auth bursts into tears, able to empathize with the grieving Talist, even though he knows neither of them. Auth listens, shocked, as... he isn't sure who it is, but it sure as hell doesn't feel like Roxxanne, but he isn't sure who it is. He listens to this person say about how Wrathful, how Angry, how he had sworn to kill them.

uA: W-what... that doesn't... that isn't... THAT'S NOT ME!

Listening quietly, he hears the memory saying that it's their job to destroy. Destroy everything. "The Narrative" and "The Conflict" (uA: Who?) being corrupt. Auth doesn't understand who they are, or the scale of their conflict.

Auth fades out of even this. He barely listens to what's going on anymore. It's... a bit much for him. It's too much of a shock of what's going on. Auth, vengeance, anger, wrath? That doesn't sound right. That doesn't sound like him at all! His Demon, maybe, but Auth could never do something like that!

Auth gradually fades out as whoever this being is, (there's no way it's Roxxanne. No way. It's nothing like her!) returning to his senses, blinking the tears out of his eyes. How there is anything left in his tear ducts is a mystery. He looks around, having stopped being shaken by Shadow Roxxanne. He remains on the ground for about ten minutes. He remains curled up, breathing shallowly. His coat is stained with his tears. He's so lost, so confused.

Time passes, Auth slowly stands up. The Universal Essence, drawn from Roxxanne, is left at his feet. Auth picks it up, and looks into it. Then, he encases it in a black cube of ink, frozen to the point of being unbreakable.

uA: I'll... make sure this is kept safe.

Auth pockets the cube. Then, he looks for Roxxanne, who's crying in the middle of everything. He walks over to her.

uA: Hey, hey, Roxxanne...

He puts his hands on her shoulders, to let her know he's there.

uA: It's... it's okay. It's all gonna be okay, Roxxanne, I'm okay, you're okay, everyone here is okay. Let it out, Roxxanne. You'll feel better. Roxxanne, I'm right here and I'm happy to listen to your woes, just let everything out, I'm right here.

Auth sits down with her. He wraps his arms around her, in a tight hug. He's still crying. They're sitting there together crying. Auth's warm. He's doing his best to make Roxxanne feel better in herself.

Auth goes to say something, taking a breath. But then he decides against it, just continuing to hug her.

Assuming Roxxanne doesn't break the silence, Auth eventually does speak.

uA: Hey, Roxxanne... that memory... I... felt, I saw... I don't think that was you. That didn't seem like you. No way. Perhaps an ancestor, in another time, another place, but I don't think that was you.

Auth is trying to calm her. He doesn't see that thing he saw as Roxxanne. It didn't seem like what Auth knows as her.

uA: I still hold you in great esteem, Roxxanne. I still like you, that memory hasn't tainted my view, especially as it didn't feel like it was you.

Auth still likes Roxxanne. She should be relieved that she's still got a friend, still got a defender. Auth just continues to cuddle Roxxanne warmly. He'll stop anyone who tries to commit violence against Roxxanne.

tricksterAlicia: Look at the two of them. Auth is comforting his best friend~ How romantic~-

Alicia, get out of my posting doohicker.

Auth just closes his eyes.

uA: All of us have our demons, Roxxanne. They may not be as literal as yours or mine, but they exist. And Roxxanne, I am firmly of the belief that you can overcome whatever lies ahead of you. Whatever you have faced in the past can't stand up to what I'm sure you are going through now. So don't worry. This is the lowest point, it's only up from here. Everything will be okay.

Auth is a little bit sheltered, but his voice shows clearly a genuine attempt to help. To be... a good friend, someone that Roxxanne feels she can depend on. Auth hugs his best friend a little bit tighter. It's almost like having Roxxanne that close comforts him too.

uA: I'm still your friend. You believe that, right? I'm still here, and I still think you're my friend. I...

Auth was going to say something there, but he realizes quickly that he forgot what it was. He finishes this by turning to look Roxxanne in the eyes.

uA: If anything, I want to say we're closer now. It's okay now, Roxxanne. You're still awesome. Incredible, in fact. There's no need to cry, everything's gonna be alright.

Auth picks up the headphones made by Sukard, and he hands them to Roxxanne.

uA: Roxxanne, I think the speeches the person who looks like Darkside and I made are sorted to play on these headphones. If you wanted to listen to them, now that we don't have to deal with you being in pain and suffering, you can now.

(Or, me saying, please respond to our speeches now Tazz :( )

"You do not summon yourself to the field because that's a lot of changes. As a result, you expend neither charge."
why does/did expending a lot of charge = no charge being expended?
sorry about not mentioning the xp tresholds, i was going to edit in approximate values there, but I forgot. ooops...
EDIT: wait, i misread changes as charges. sorry.
[tries to expend charges again]
ok, so the changes that aren't exactly what you said by the letter:
so, levels. suppose level 1 is 10 xp, 2 is 12 more, 3 is 14 more, 4 is 16 more, etc.
lucid dreams give like 3ish xp, killing an enemy elite gives, say, 2, enemy bosses are 5-7, achievments:
beginners luck- get a dream. 2 Dream tokens, 1 xp
awareness is strength- get your first lucid dream. since lucid dreams already give xp& tokens, only 2 xp and 1 token more then otherwise.
strange mind- get a wide variety of dreams( judged by GM). 3xp, 2 tokens.
moving up in your head- have 4 full dream slots, then get another dream that is an improvement. 5 xp 3 Dream tokens
forgeton- have a dream fade. 2 xp 1 token.
dream tokens:
use on dreams with that requirement. lucid dreams give 3 tokens, as a rule tokens are usually ~1/2 of XP gain

Also, the lucid dream chance still happens when I use a dream, as opposed to first unlocking it, right?
I also prefer the dream representing the entity, for a few reasons, but i guess its ok if its counterstrategy?
(((among the reasons are counter-strategys seem a lot more debatable and hard to agree on- for most entitys, the best counter-strategy is 'deal a lot of damage fast')))

ACTION (not focused):
I decide to try to sane buddy armstrong because I remember uzi was saning him at some point I think, which means its probably a good iDa(I- Dee- A, get it) right.
right?
anyway, I walk up to him and tell him that she has abandoned her brother, stretch armstrong doll! she instantly realises that that is stupid, and none of his cousins could possibly be dolls. her now-increased practice at identifying ridiculous things will soon come in handy, as I start prattling on about how the doll was used to tie up an extremely slow green guy in another world so he wouldn't escape. buddy armstrong sighs and explains, piece by piece, why this is ridiculous.
I tell her fine, but what about his fourth cousin, 8 times removeds niece?
she says what.
I explain that neil armstrong is her fourth cousin 8 times removed's niece.
she questions this on the basis that neil armstrong is male.
I reply by telling he(r) that neil armstrong was afflicted by the anime girl plague, and that they will soon be able to reunite with one another, and it'll be wonderful and stuff.
(s)he complains that last time I claimed something like that, it was wrong. I tell he(r) thats not proof enough.
(s)he(buddy armstrong) then replys that (s)he has no cousins, and they are an only child, and their parents are only children, and so on at least 5 generations.
I reply that one of them cheated on the other at some point, so she does have a cousin.
she replys "No.
Just no."
I say fine, I lied.
they reply "good, because I'm not an only child."
I say wut.
anyway, their increased ability to detect ridiculousness makes them incredibly skilled at noticing the ridiculousness of everyone being in a high school, as well as various other things. like my face.
EDIT: so buddy armstrong is already sane and I don't know what team any other anime girls are going to with any degree of accuracy, so have my action go towards making my next one stronger or giving it armor pierce or something. alternatively, heal the beyond.
