Really good job dude! Starting up the game can sometimes be really tedious and it's nice to see others having the same problem I have.

EDIT: It seems it won't start; I've tried with mods and without. It gives this error:

When exactly do you get this error? And do you have other mods loaded when this happens or not?

I get it while it's initializing, and I've tried with both mods and no mods and it gives the same error.
At first, I thought it might be calamity breaking it or something but it doesn't work with any mod and it doesn't work with no mod.

Is there anyway you can add a version/config that just gives wood and torches? I don't want to skip tiers, I just want to speed up the first few days.

I'm getting this same error. Don't know if there's a fix yet or not but I have the most recent version of the mod.

Small error, but when you play medium core it seems to spawn me with a randomized set each death as if i was a new character again. As such i have to delete everything to get the mediumcore experiance of rushing to where i died naked. (10/10 mod btw i hate the vanilla start so much haha, thanks for your work.)

Thanks for report. This is an issue in tML, and a hook is being updated to accomodate for this scenario. That means that in a future update, the items you got (from this mod) would be stored and given back upon death instead of a randomized set.
