I have a problem, which is that the game is abnormally fast. As far as I know, I pressed "Alt + Shift + Win" and I think I pressed another button, but I'm not sure. After that, the screen turned black for a second, then the game became abnormally fast. You can see that through this video:

what does alt+shift+win do?

also, your game seems fine to me. could it be that your game was just slow to begin with and you somehow sped it up to normal?

Your game seems fine to me too. Maybe the issue is with your computer and it's recording it in the speed it thinks is normal (which is fast)?
Is it abnormally heating up?

It's probably that you had frame skip off.

Having it off makes the game slow down with your framerate. Do you potentially have a bad computer?

Either way, like above, the game looks perfectly normal.

if you have frame skip on, it speeds up the computer by skipping unnecessary frames.

I'm pretty sure frame skip being off makes the game run at 1 tick per frame, or whatever the normal framerate it.

Thus,. slowing the game down to what your FPS is assuming it's less than 60.

Frame skip on makes the game run at normal speed regardless of framerate, making the game look laggy if you have a bad framerate.

my info came from me doing a google search to try to speed the game up. what i said was an almost word for word version of what the wiki said.

Your description implies that having it off slows the game down, which is exactly what I was saying might be the case.

This does indeed look like the normal game speed to me. :)

idk. do you see the sword

My computer is not bad but it is not very good.

if anything, the sword looks slightly slower, but that might just be me imagining things. I also have a terrible computer, and I have learned that if its a large world, it won't preform as well because large has more data loaded then medium or small.

My world is average and again my computer isn't bad so if it's large it's no problem

you have dis? I will show you the speed of the world... and my dis is wrwrwmrwmrmrmr

honestly, it looks like you turned on a function like frame skip or you closed other apps, because the game seems completely normal to me. my computer also is a terrible computer and runs terraria super slowly on max graphics. it could be that you accidentally turned down the graphics and your computer breathed a sigh of relief. or frame skip was turned on and the computer was able to skip unnecessary frames that kept being run. other than that, i dont know what your problem is.

my discord is _twenty_.
