NPCs & Enemies Give Pre-Hardmode Bosses more drops for progression, and buff Deerclops and Queen Slime drops.

As someone who started playing Terraria since 2015, I always loved and adored the game’s progression, along with the bosses you get to fight in order to progress. But sometimes I feel like a lot more bosses should drop better and stronger loot for better progression, since most of the bosses in Pre-Hardmode only drop certain items that help with getting items for progression or unlock a certain location.

If Queen Bee and the Wall of Flesh can drop weapons for progression, then so can the other pre-hardmode. Pre-Hardmode especially has an extreme lack of mage and summoner options (from my point of view, but do correct me if i’m wrong on the mage part). It’d be nice if some of the bosses dropped items and weapons for mages and summoners, but it wouldn’t be bad if they also dropped stuff for the other classes as well.

Deerclops and Queen Slime are barely fought at all in the game compared to other bosses, and usually get skipped by other players from my perspective. This is because the drops for deerclops are just weak, the only somewhat good drops are the Eye Bone and the Weather Pain.

And as for Queen Slime, a lot of players don’t enjoy fighting her. Queen Slime’s fight is punishing for mid to close ranged players, and her projectile spam is pretty lazy difficulty, and players would only fight her for the Blade Staff, the Gelatinous Pillion Mount, the Hook of Dissonance. Even with all of these drops (and the very underused Crystal Assassin Armor), people still tend to skip Queen Slime or easily cheese her with Minecarts or the Unicorn Mount. And the only people that do fight her are mainly Summoners looking for the Blade Staff. Maybe you can add more weapons to the Queen Slime for mage, ranged, and melee classrs.

Overall, more and better weapons being obtained after beating bosses will feel more rewarding to players and will give even more weapon variety and options. Also sorry if this essay sucks crap because I just played 7 hours of Legendary Mode with friends and I have absolute brain rot which prevents me from thinking straight at all. Thank you Re-Logic for being an awesome developer team for the game!

I believe the Radio Thing should be placeable like monoliths, and has a certain radious that makes your base differently "styled"
