Welp, I know there are a few of these, but why not? Have some of my take on the lore of Terraria, and request your own things! Please note, I am not always a good writer so... bear with me!

First of is the Creation of Terraria
There was void, untamed, and uncontrolled. Limitless power, just waiting to be unleashed. The void knew none, the void was alone. However there were three great powers, Viasgal, Notorum, and Grestor. These three found the void, and brought it what it wished: Life and they called the world they made from the void Terraria. Viasgal made the forest, and the underground for those who would live there, also making Humans, to walk and live in this beautiful world they made. Notorum made the icey plains, and Goblins with great hunting skills to roam and hunt, giving them thick hides to protect against the cold. Grestor created the jungle, to make a home for the Lihizard giving them reptilian appearances and great agility and magic powers. However the three had know each other for long, and they sought someone knew, someone to bring something interesting to this world they had created. And they found HIM Ragonoth, they knew nought about him, however his core was evil, though he hid it well. He came to their world and created the Hallow, to give off the sense that he was good, while He worked on something, bigger. While the other three enjoyed their world they made, sometimes coming down to walk their own plains, Ragonoth was making something they didn't know about, until one of them walked into the hallow. Grestor walked into the hallow, and saw the creatures living there, and also saw the unicorn. charging. very quickly. towards him. He was shocked, he though all was peace here, however, he was a great being, Grestor destroyed the unicorn with a single blow to the head, then ran to alert the other two. But it was to late, as the Grestor reached the other two, Ragonoth had unleashed the spirits of dark, and all their swarms allowing them to reek havoc on Terraria. and chief among them was, The Moon Lord. The three were distraught, and Ragonoth thought he had won, however the Lihizard rallied together Humans and goblins to their temple, where their great guardian, the golem which they had made with magic, protected all from the invaders, all but one... The Moon Lord was to powerful for even the Golem, he was destroyed, and the temple demolished. The three made up their minds. before all the races were destroyed, they imprisoned the Moon Lord in a circular tablet, and sealed it away in a dungeon they created. they imprisoned the spirits of light and night into a being, one human volunteered to be the guardian of the beast, to keep it locked away. most monsters went with it, but some did not. However the three knew that Ragonoth was stronger than all three combined, so they made a barrier around Terraria, and if this barrier was broken, and Ragonoth entered, he would have his power reduced, hopefully enough to make him vunerable to the humans. When the three powers sealed Terraira, they sealed themselves from it, and have never come in it again... The Lihizards returned to their temple, and rebuilt it. The Goblins went back to roaming, And the Humans went back to building their cities. Slowly the races grew apart, until the Goblins waged an actual war with humans. Because the three creators of Terraria were no longer with them, they had no laws to govern them...
