If anyone wants answers, come talk to me after I've ensured my dau- ward's safety."

They seemed to be experienced in the ways of taking life, so I am preparing the group to avoid the confrontation. The machine stood on tendrils that reach fifty feet high, so I presume it's scouting out the land. One of the men went into the forest, and what seemed to be their leader went back into his own world for now."
