They've been getting announced 1 by 1 on the Terraria discord server. There's gonna be 100 iOS users and 100 android users. I would recommend checking out the server right now to see if you got picked.

None at initial launch, but in the works. Stay tuned.
The in-game, on-screen controls are much better than in the old mobile version (IMO), so you may find that you don't need a separate controller, but everyone has their own preferences.

Let Re-Logic and their partners do their job. It's nice to see the huge efforts they're making to give an update after so much time and what's even more amazing is the fact they're trying their best to attempt a bug-free release for EVERYBODY.

Late to the party, but this is exciting to see! Thank goodness for online multiplayer Terraria, as this is one of the most commonly requested functions of all time! The most, of course, is the release date!
