Weapons & Equip More attention towards shortswords, spears, and boomerangs.

In Terraria, there is a plethora of broadswords, flails, and yoyos players can use as their melee choice. However, there is very little shortswords in the game, and far fewer in hardmode. To combat this issue, more shortswords could be added to the game to make it as viable a choice as any other. And while there is more choices for spears and boomerangs, they still are rather weak when compared to other options, and could use a buff.
I feel like a post golem spear, maybe obtained from defeating Golem or from the Martian Madness event, could satisfy the spear issue.
