I don't think that an outright removal is the course of action that would be best. Perhaps that you could brainstorm some sort of purpose for the enemy, whether it be material, accessories, weapons, or something else that could be a minor improvement to the already bare-bones enemy?
If u want to remove things that are annoying, you might as well remove rng, expert mode, literally anything that can harm you, all together, not really any reason to remove derpling.
There’s not a reason to remove the derpling at ALL.
