Weapons & Equip New Bomber Armor, and a Hardmode Mining Set

Here's a few ideas I've got regarding a new Bomber Armor set, and the highly requested Hardmode Mining Armor set!!

Upon defeating the phm World Evil boss (EoW or BoC), the Demolitionist will begin to sell the parts to a brand new armor set!

Hard Hat: (~10 Gold)
3 Defense
50% damage reduction from player's own explosions

Bomber Jacket: (~10 Gold)
4 Defense
50% increased velocity for all thrown explosives

Heavy Duty Boots: (~10 Gold)
3 Defense
50% damage reduction from player's own explosions

Set Bonus:
Grants immunity to explosive traps
10% increased damage for player's own explosives

This armor set itself is like a late phm variant to the Mining Armor Set, with a focus on explosives rather than pickaxes.
"Explosives" includes Bombs, Dynamite, Grenades, and all of their variants (Scarab, Sticky, Bouncy...).
This also means it has slight offensive capabilities, particularly with Grenades, as the set bonus slightly boosts their damage, and the hat and boots protect the player from recoil damage.

But what about in hardmode?
Players often complain that although the Mining Armor's boosts are good, it doesn't boast enough defense to keep players alive in hm.
Here's my proposed solution--a combination of the Mining set and the Bomber set:

Ultrabright Hard Hat: (Ultrabright Helmet + Hard Hat + 5 Souls of Light at a Hardmode Anvil)
8 Defense
50% damage reduction from player's own explosions
15% chance to not consume explosives when thrown
Improves vision and provides light when worn

Blast Suit: (Mining Shirt + Bomber Jacket + 3 Souls of Light + 3 Souls of Night at a Hardmode Anvil)
14 Defense
50% increased velocity for all thrown explosives
15% chance to not consume explosives when thrown
15% increased mining speed

Blast Boots: (Mining Pants + Heavy Duty Boots + 5 Souls of Night at a Hardmode Anvil)
8 Defense
50% damage reduction from player's own explosions
15% chance to not consume explosives when thrown
15% increased mining speed

Set Bonus:
-Grants immunity to explosive traps
-10% increased explosive damage
-10% increased mining speed
-Thrown explosives now match the pickaxe power of the strongest pickaxe in your inventory

This armor not only boasts much higher defenses (30 instead of the Mining Armor's 4/6, or the Bomber Armor's 10), but it also tags along buffs from both sets, with slightly increased mining speed, and a new chance to not consume explosives when thrown!
Additionally, the set bonus has the much requested ability for bombs to increase in power if a pickaxe in your inventory has a higher pickaxe power, making mining hm ores with bombs possible!
It's crafted with some souls to better indicate to the player that it is a Hardmode armor set, though perhaps they aren't necessary--but I don't think it's too costly either way.

The bomber armor set feels modded and unnecessary, so I would recommend removing it.
As for the Blast Miner armor set, I actually really like it! It's not too overpowered, but it won't make you die instantly. I also think that the stats for the Blast Miner Armor for explosives is a good interrogation of the Bomber Man set.

TL;DR (somehow, this was like five sentences): Remove the Bomber Man set and you've got a great suggestion.

Just read that, I think that's a very good idea. I think traps are a great thing for the game, but I do absolutely think there should be more the player can do to avoid them. I like the drawback of using the armor to be its low defense--you're protected on one front (from traps), but now you are vulnerable on another (from enemies). Good stuff, and would be great for hardcore.
