Very nice! It's hard to recommend any improvements, but I think you could add a bit more to that lower-left wall- it's a bit empty.*snip*

You do not need any improvements, it's perfect as it is.Heyo, decided to take a screenshot of my base...
Try putting some ebonwood in the walls. Oh, and regular wood isn't the best material for the vertical parts- notice how the right wall looks a bit bumpy? Try some different woods there. Also, once you have some, I think dungeon bricks would fit in nicely.*snip*
Maybe add some frames around the windows. Oh, and some sort of railing on the outside parts midway up (the ones with the sawmill) would look good.*snip*
That fountain in the middle is super cool.Hello. Just wanted thoughts on this current building...
Me again =P
Tried to brainstorm a bit on the window framing to come up with something. Tried a few different things ranging rom using different blocks to frame the entire window, platforms, different background walls, etc, this is the only one that didn't look completely terrible.

It's regular wood walls painted pink (of all the colors >_>). Also while experimenting with colors I discovered painting the glass white gave it a frosty look, which went with the snow biome, and made the entire house feel a bit more warm and cozy. (Note: A bit of further experimenting uncovered if you paint the windows red and orange you can get a sunset through the window feel.)
It's a no go with the railing suggestion. Just too cluttered sadly.
Well, I've found that underground builds work well with planked walls, so try having spots of those in places. Oh, and if you're going to implement that idea of yours- which you should- I recommend switching the furniture out for ebonwood variants (or shadewood if you can't access ebonwood.)*snip*

Sorry if this is a bit short; it's the morning and I have a slight cold.
Well, to the creator of this thread, I present the Super Box 4000! Why have 1 box, when you can have many?
No but really I do actually like to theme up my houses I make, I just make boxes when I'm playing more so for the adventure than the building![]()
Here are some things I've built themed around the npcs

The bricks in the party girls house are rainbow bricks, thats just hard to capture in a still image...![]()
So any constructive critisism you would be willing to give me for any of these houses would be much appreciated.
Thats not a Plain Box Though it has details in the corners and stuffone thing I'd like to share that I think would be a good tip:

Sometimes boxes aren't necessarily a bad thing; sometimes wall scenery can make it look phenominal.
