A rustling could he heard coming through the trees by the group wobbles was pursuing.

The rustling quickly moves overhead and then past dark, moving towards wobbles and whoever was in that general direction.

The ferryman leaps down in front of wobble, holding his bone spear a few inches from it’s neck.

The ferryman stumbles and then somersaults backwards, landing with his spear facing Wobble.
He stabs the spear tip into the ground, using it like a vaulting pole and then sitting atop it, crouched perfectly still.

Dark hears Burst jump off and turns to him. "Hey-" But by then, Burst is already out of earshot. <...eh. There wasn't really anything keeping him with us anyway.>
Dark, however, does look to his right to ensure Wobble doesn't just go after him, however. Weird, right?
