It is a very interesting idea but what would happen when you dig to the bottom of the world? I've always imagined terraria was cone shaped.

While I'd like to see this, several game mechanics make this impossible.
People said already - Wall of Flesh, invasions. While latter is debatable, former is utilizing the edge of a world as time limit on boss fight. I don't say about compass issue, yet it is kinda silly for it to jump from 8000 blocks east to 8000 blocks west in the middle of the ocean.Like?
