PC Saving games

Hi,

I'm thinking about getting the game on PC as console is a complete joke at the moment. Can someone please give a Y/N answer to the following questions please?

1. Can you save in game, or do you have to "save & exit"?
2. can you uplaod/download maps & characters from the selection screen, or do you have to quit the application first, THEN upload/download the files you wish?

1. You can't manually save. The game saves automatically every few minutes and when you exit the game.
2. There aren't any in-game options to download/upload stuff. You'll have to browse to Terraria's save folder and put anything you downloaded in there manually.
