Pixel Art Terraria Spriting Carnival 2

This is my first NPC sprite without using the terraria in-game files. I need some feedback or something I can change to make it better so that I can become a better spriter. I was going for a troll or orc look to the NPC. If you have any tips to make my shading or shape better then please let me know. Thanks everyone!

The eyes do not suit the terraria style, the leg widths are incorrect, it is clearly lacking a shoulder, some banding is going on...

i think a problem with a lot of your sprites are the really light outlines, i would suggest going very dark but not completely black

I agree with puffepuf. You need a dark outline and maybe a lighter outline with that green in some places. The sprites themselves seam kinda dark and boring. The trident and rifle plus maybe the chakram look great but the thing that catches my eye the most is the bar. Ive never seen one like that. Unique!

i can see where you're coming from, i've always had issues with colors to be honest.
