Even if it's 1 Silver, I always make sure to put it in storage.

half the items npcs sell aint gonna rly help u in master hardmode till like mid

Not unless you always be sure to deposit that 1 Silver, as that will eventually add up to 1 Gold, which will eventually add up to 1 Platinum.
