I've seen something like this as well.

I think it has something to do with the spawning of the natural campfire room you can find underground at random coinciding with something about the underground jungle, because I haven't seen this outside the jungle as of yet.
 
I don't think I've ever been this lucky before. Two Golem kills, and both of the items I actually wanted from him.

And the third drop was a Picksaw. Holy crap.

So I killed the WoF and...

For some weird reason, it spawned the loot box waaaaaaaaay up there, even though I was standing on the bridge when I killed him. I've never seen it do that before, it usually spawns the box right near or on the bridge itself.
 
First time I ever encountered one of these, Kinda glad it wasn't the actual sword otherwise I would have discarded it. (Current playthrough prohibits it)

Going down the 1 brick wide shaft via Fishing Hook proved easier than expected. (I feel bad for the Living Wood Table, It never had a chance to spawn. :()
 
So I got this on like the 3rd night of fishing:

Ran back to the goblin and it only took a few tries!

Not bad for 50g; this is probably the best weapon I could possibly get until Golem unless I tried for the Seedler or something, lol.
