-- Uhlsrar --

Uhlsrar followed his group into the shop. He considered getting something for himself but in the end decided against it feeling he was well enough equipped, with his dagger, scimitar and spells. The drow then pointlessly looked around the shop as he awaited for Acies to buy the crossbow bolts.

~Jacqueline~

Jacqueline glances at the walls of the store with curiosity, not really paying attention to Acies' conversation, looking for anything that would pique her interest. Perhaps a nice bow, or some kind of fancy arrow. A hat would be nice, too. Or a hood. Something to shroud her and protect her from the elements. Oh, and style was, of course, imperative.

Thorn greeted Platinum and Roy as they would come in, letting them choose a table or bar to sit at. As everyone nibbled at some food and drink, he recorded their expenditures, applying it to their tab which he seemed to keep accurate record of. One at a time, he wold give each of them a nod, letting them know that they should get up soon and slowly and casually make their ways into the back room, often not giving such a nod for long periods of time when others would come into the Red Bench, either because they were unknown, or not to know of the mission that was ahead for this group of five adventurers.

.................... In the back, several rooms in as escorted by attendants, the five adventurers were served more, while two or so hours passed until all five sat around a large table. A sixth person entered the room, a tall man with a scruffy, somewhat recently shaved beard, wearing a dark brown coat. "So, you're all here. About time," he said before he cracked the knuckles of his hand and plopped into a chair, putting his boot-covered feet up onto the edge of the table. "There's some farm land to the west where a local farmer named Kevdar lives. He has a package of supplies that we need you to pick up. I'm leaving this rag-tag group of newcomers to you, Zack; show 'em the ropes, and have that package delivered pronto. You'll be payed a fair wage for the job, minus whatever's on your tab." He let out a small chuckle, as if he knew himself the burden of the tab. "Already got the documents ready and prepared with Rescap the other day. You know the rules, don't get caught, and if you do, don't lead any questioning eyes and ears to the Red Bench. If so, you'll be silenced." With that, he got up and left the room, not bothering with any answers the now assumed party would have.

..... Jacqueline saw many bows and arrows within the display case, and assumed that many more lay locked within the cabinets or any potential backrooms the shop may have. All that she could see looked nice and well made, with flares of craftsmanship that differentiated them from that which you would get elsewhere. However, there seemed to be no forms of clothing or armor anywhere within the store, simply weapons and tools of the hunt.

..... "I do not like to make assumptions," the shopkeeper woman said, a little more slow than she had spoken earlier, before continuing with her normal pacing. "Do you require something with a marker or insignia? Something more decorative? Made of a special wood or tipped with a certain color of metal?" She pointed to various designs within the large display case in the center of the shop.

--Acies--
Acies studied the elf, unsure if the woman was playing dumb or simply didn't know what Acies was after. Time to put a couple cards on the table and see.
"I am looking for something that would leave a..." Acies hesitated, searching for the right word, "...lingering impact." Let's see if the ilythiiri of this blasted island use similar tactics to the ones from home.

"To be more specific, I am looking for something of Drow make preferably."

..... "I'm afraid that a well-respected establishment such as this would not be selling such a thing as that while it still retained its lingering effects." She paused before adding, "However, friends of Naza'arim are always welcome to come for a friendly visit after business hours, though our activities sometimes get rather expensive, particularly if they linger."

--Acies--
Acies smirked slightly. Would you look at that an il-darthirii with at least a couple of gears turning in her head.
"Of course such a high class establishment would not dabble in such things. Your offer of a visit is much appreciated, perhaps we can share secrets over tea. Girl talk and all that. I will have an associate of mine get in touch to set up a date."

Acies then left the store, striding towards the door with a confident bounce in her step. Once outside she would pull her hood low over her eyes and wait for her associates to wrap up inside. She was no longer interested in the clothier, this simple visit told her all she needed; she would have to get in touch with her tether to the seedier sections of the world soon.

And so the dominoes keep falling. The man is paying us to find these magic rods, clearly doesn't want us poking around his home without supervision, and now a known connection to a seller of black market poison. That Naza'arim is hiding something and I intend to get to the bottom of it. She thought with a smug sense of self satisfaction. While the gears in her head turned and she waited for her companions she whistled tunelessly to herself to pass the time.

Zack stretched, seemingly unfazed by this sudden burden of responsibility. "Alrighty then." he said as he stood up. "I'm Zack, as you may or may not have just heard, and apparently I'm the one who is going to be leading this caravan. Now then, I promise you that nothing bad will happen to anyone under my supervision, provided..." (he emphasised, as he leaned forwards) "...they do exactly as I say."

He quickly observed each of his new team members, then chuckled. "Alright, so I'll be honest, first impression is not too shabby. Please state your name, previous combat experience, and what you specialise in."

"My name is Samuel Maximilian. I've had..." He paused for a moment, collecting his thoughts, "...some combat experience, although it's been a while. I'm good with the sword and the bow."

He couldn't help feeling as though there was something coming up in this mission that they weren't told about.

Roy Drake
Seeing as everyone is introducing themselves, Roy quickly thought about what he had to say, taking a sip of water to lengthen his thinking time, and after Sam had finished introducing himself, Roy said, "I'm Roy. I have a good amount of combat experience, but I haven't fought in much wars. It's more of a heck ton of practice. I specialize," he tilts his head towards Azaka, "In dual wield fighting, like you Azaka. However, I'm sorry, but if you guys are going to have a stealth mission, I'm screwed."

"Alright, so mostly close range, huh? That's alright, I've got the ballistics covered." Zack said, as he pointed with his thumb to the rifle slung over his back. Following Roy's question, he pondered for a moment, as if trying to find the most discreet way of saying something. "Well, let me put it this way: stealth isn't a necessity, but it's definitely a benefit in this line of work. We might not need it now, but I think you will find it a most useful tool if you're working with these folks." He looked back at the entire group. "Oh, and don't take my questions the wrong way. We're not heading into a battle zone or anything, I just think it's better to assume we will have to fight and end up not having to than, well, the other way round.". He chuckled again.

"Either way, I think we should head out. Let's go see what Rezzy has got for us.". Zack exited the room and made his way to the front room. ((Assuming the rest follows)) "Hold up," he said to the others. "I'll go first to see if the coast is clear. Five people coming out of the back room all at once might be a bit suspicious to say the least." He stepped into the front room, casually made his way to Rescap (assuming he's there), and spoke in a soft voice: "Sorry to bother you, but I think I may have left something here the other day. Did you find it by any chance?"

Azaka Shango

Azaka got up and followed Zack as instructed. After Zack went ahead he looked to Roy and said, "Stealth is far from being a strong suit of mine as well. If there's sneaking to be done we'd best leave it to the others." He finished his statement with a friendly smile and a chuckle. ((@Chasm Guardian))

.....Rescap was not present anywhere noticeable within the inn, or the hallways and corridors in the back room they progressed through to make their way back to the main chamber.

Thorn was still at the desk however, and answered Zack's question. "Do you mean your deposit?" He nodded low, "Yes, it's still here if you would like to retrieve it."

((Honestly just winging this, because I don't know what you're implying. d: ))

Platinum says in a quiet voice while following Zack as the last person "Forgot to introduce myself, how stupid of me... Fine I'll do it later"
Platinum speaks to the rest of the team "Sorry I forgot to say, I'm Platinum by the way"

Roy Drake
"Glad to know," Roy said to Azaka, his eyes crinkling as he smiled back, "That I'm not alone."It seemed that Azaka was one of the more friendly people here.
He followed the rest of the group outside, and as Zack stopped the group, Roy almost bumped into the person in front of him, who was the Samuel guy. Since everyone was about the same height, Roy couldn't really see over his head to what was happening. Instead, Roy had to look over Sam's shoulder at what was happening.
Unfortunately, he couldn't really hear what Zack and Thorn were saying to each other.
It was at that moment that he heard Platinum introduce himself. Roy recalled knowing this guy, and he seemed to have changed a slight bit since he last seen him. But it was Platinum from New Navon alright.
"Well met," Roy replied to Platinum, "Long lost friend." He wondered if Platinum would still recognize him after he had cured himself of his lycanthropy.

Zack sighed. So much for being discrete. "The innkeeper may or may not have some information, of a possible papery nature, that may or may not be relevant to a task we may or may not be supposed to be doing." he said, in a slightly sarcastic tone. "You may or may not know about its existence and or whereabouts and may or may not want to give it to me."
