I think for now I'll see about having each arrow button roll a specific RNG choice, rather than using a menu. I'll figure out a menu later on if I ever need more options.
First is the background thing though.

I'm having too much trouble with an error in the C# version
time to suffer because I have to learn C++ on short notice and am too lazy to learn some normal C first

I doubt that they're dead
I mean
If that mutual friend hasn't heard anything from them either then at least you can tell they're not ghosting you specifically.
Most of my friends are astronomically depressed, but they're still alive...
Perhaps they've been busy with work of some sort?
