There are other mods that make throwing viable and it won't be fair to make it something like "White Dwarf Glove" and make it exclusive to the Thorium mod. I could add alternative recipes but the name will still be very weird.

Did you look through the code? While it's partially true, it also increases all damage by 10%. I would be more confusing to say it increases summon damage by 20% when in fact minions will do 30% more damage. It will be pure 30% summon damage in version 5.0.0 because of the recipe change.
Speaking of version 5.0.0, a major overhaul of the mod is incoming. Most items stay roughly the same but the unique effects are more diverse and useful.
After a long and long wait, UA is finally on tModloader 1.4 stable with brand new sprites, effects and balances!
It will get updated to 1.4.4 after tModloader version becomes stable.

Monster Voodoo Doll does grant you a curse effect which should be 16.66...% damage multiplier, making it about 31% damage increase on average(1.06*1.06*1.1666). Or my math is completely wrong and the curse effect is not that strong. If that's the case, I will buff its curse effect instead of raw stats.
EDIT : My math is not wrong but the item is basically saying "If the enemy dies in 5 seconds, this item does nothing" and "Curse damage is at most 16.66% and usually way worse". I will add something to adress this.

I see. I did think that Last Resort without any downside is too strong while testing so I thought having to stop attacking for 6 seconds was enough but I guess not. The 6 seconds timer should be longer or the dodge chance should be lower.
About adding cross necklace; it's already in Crown of Vengence and I don't think I can remove it from there without reworking the item again.
I will make the Pathfinder stronger by buffing its defense and healing I guess? Or I can make it so the reduced healing grants longer i-frames without adding cross necklace in the recipe.
