Once upon a time I was planning to set down all 3 for here at once.
Some amount of procrastination later, and I've decided to get the one down that's finished in my head to start off, with the other 2 to follow later, after I've actually finished conceptualising them.

Name: Grace Manica

Age: 10 years old

Gender: Female

Hex color: #DFD3E3

Void or Purity (if void, originally void or corrupted?): Purity

Alliance: Pure

Appearance: A short girl in a white, purple out-lined bonnet dress with a black staff with what appears to be a circular net dream catcher on top for carrying green energy orbs.

Personality (Added this in because yes):
  • A bit bossy and pompous
  • Kind enough, nonetheless
  • Super studious
  • British. At her best when she's had a cuppa. Now what that's supposed to mean...
  • Sometimes manic. Like her last name suggests.

Specialisation: Making expendable, but capable reinforcements.

Magic/Technology ratio: 70%M : 0%T

Abilities:
Extraction: Can Extract Essences from everyday objects, like this green Essence, used for making life, called Anima, from her body and plants. In fact, she’s actually quite talented at this. Not that anyone else here exactly can compare to her though. She does mainly make use of Anima, however.
Note: Extracting Anima from a person in this way makes the person quite tired, and causes plants to begin to wilt. Trees are good sources of Anima, however, considering how strong they are. Grace can't actually kill anyone or anything by Extracting enough Anima from them, however. Not to mention it’s a lengthy process that’s impractical to use in a straight fight.
Animating: Using Anima (which she sometimes stores in the form of those green orbs on her staff, though she can use it straight after Extracting it), Grace can make entities known as Animates, constructs made of things like rocks and air and fire, by Injecting the Anima she has into rocks, sources of fire, and even the air itself. The more Anima she puts in each, the stronger they are. Though, there is this thing called diminishing returns, where more anima results in decreases in their power increase. Hence why she prefers making numbers of weaker units (capping at 6, since she does need to be able to mentally command all of them) as opposed to fewer, but stronger units.
Why, she could even use up most of the Anima in her body and her usual 4 Anima orbs to create an extra big, 15ft tall Animate capable of things like tearing down a building.
…though this leaves her completely exhausted, like she just finished running a marathon. So it's not a good idea to use this trick all the time.

Animate Types:
  • Rock: Slow rock golems that nonetheless can hit decently hard, being pretty strong, and can take quite a bit of punishment. She likes using these to get around when she doesn’t want to walk.
  • Wind: Air wisps with high mobility that can literally fly around, but low damage with their projectile cutting winds and easily dispersed with a couple of hits. As a note, attacks do go through them, still dealing damage to them.
  • Fire: Fire beings that do a better job setting stuff on fire than doing any real, direct damage. At least they also have range, unlike Rock Animates, and are more hardier than air wisps.
No, I haven’t worked out how to make a water Animate, thank you very much. The Essence of Hydro doesn’t like me.

Weapons, armor, tools:
  • Her bonnet dress with absolutely no armour on it whatsoever. It does have pockets though.
  • Her staff, used as a magical conduit to help her Inject Anima into stuff and to Extract Anima from organisms. And to store anima.

Strengths:
  • Telling people what to do. Getting people to listen to her is another matter altogether though..
  • Learning new things.

Weaknesses:
  • Actually being in physical fights herself. She's just a kid, she doesn't know much about holding her own in a fight in which she’s all by her lonesome.

Backstory: Grace Manica was a young girl whose parents could simply tell she was special. She was regarded as a child prodigy, super studious and all, at school, with a serious interest in all things magical. Fortunately, her parents were both mages (inspectors of other mages in various industries, actually. Ensuring their wellbeing and productivity) with a fine collection of books, which Grace read all the time at home even if they weren’t always on the topic of magic. Or informational, for that matter.

After she graduated a few years early from elementary school, her parents started taking her to their work to enrich her learning of magic. They had this whole arrangement with the government and everything where she learned things normally college-level apprentices would learn before she became of age to go to middle school.
So she went to a wide variety of places, like burners, where Pyra mages boil water to produce electricity, or deep underwater in a submarine, where Photo mages help illuminate the sea floor so better pictures of it can be taken for marine research.
This one time, at a construction site where renovations were being made on the school she was to go to, Grace happened upon a broken down Rock Animate, one of the Animates helping out with all the construction work. Using what she knew from reading and a good 30 minutes of trial and error, she eventually managed to fix it up by taking Anima from a nearby tree to bring it back to life.

Her parents heard about this not long after, and so they started teaching her everything she now knows in the art of Anima.
And then she was portal'd here.

Hmm..

I like the character and generally don’t see things wrong with her, but I have a few questions still..

Just out of curiosity, are you intending to have her be able to extract the Anima from void creatures too? Nothing against that, just wondering.

And how quickly would she drain enough life to make someone tired? I assume it isn’t a rapid process.

If they can still be technically classified as organically functional, sure.

And how quickly would she drain enough life to make someone tired? I assume it isn’t a rapid process.
It's definitely a slow process. Maybe a minute straight of draining for even a half decent amount of Anima.

You guys have no idea how tempted I am to toss Iridia in to see how long it'd take until they get the hint that Nayi doesn't understand the concept of friendship.
In case you're wondering who Iridia is, they're a crystal too.
A crystal dragon to be exact.
And they're small enough to casually sit on someone's shoulder.
And they're one of those characters who I've barely used and already love.

You should. We need as many characters as we can get.

I’m also surprised by this, but we really don’t have many void characters rn..

Then I'ma just plop in the missing info in a comment and toss the little guy in.

And yeah, but don't expect any void characters from me unless I choose to add Tip.
I would mention Mio and the Runemaster but if I were to add either of them they'd just be on the Rooted Corruption's side as normal and I don't think the characters would like having to deal with two infections at once. Tip in the meantime would just need to get bonked with another stone or something.
Please don't bonk me with another stone.

Edit: Alright, he's ready.
Name: Iridia
Nickname (Optional): Ridia or Ridi, but please don’t call him Dia.
Age: ???
Gender: Male
Species: Crystal with a soul, just like Nayi
Appearance: I’ll see if I can draw him in the weekend or something. Please remind me aggressively tomorrow.
For now my best description of him is just a small dragon-shaped crystal.
Personality: Outgoing, protective of his friends, and usually honest about his feelings.
Equipment: N/A
Abilities: Cystal Magic, Light Magic, and the Combination Type Mirror Magic, though he only uses that if he has no choice.
Flight
There’s a few more abilities but I need to work those out a bit. Just know they’re all crystal-related.
Strengths: Can be extremely hard to notice, both due to being pretty small (as in, can comfortably ride Esther’s shoulder small), and they’re literally a crystal.
Weaknesses: Hard to notice even when he doesn’t want to be hard to notice, usually to his annoyance.
If he can’t use magic, he’s basically defenseless.
Known Backstory (Optional): ???
Void or Purity: Purity
Alliance: Pure
Specialization: Magic in general, and also knows how to recognize some crystals. And no I won’t show that second one, I refuse to keep Wikipedia open all the time.
Magic/Technology Ratio: 75% M, 0% T ("Do you expect the living crystal to understand technology?"
"...Nayi's an exception they're literally from a digital world.")

So. Guess I'll stick with a cap of 6 animates for Grace.

And as an added note, she can extract the Anima from her own body she needs for her 'super Animate' trick more quickly; it'd be only a 15-second wind up.

Name: Hive

Age: [Error 404]

Gender: Yes'nt

Hex color: 004d00

Void or Purity (if void, originally void or corrupted?): Void (Originally*)

Alliance: Void

Appearance: A vaguely humanoid mass of liquid Void, ever shifting and moving. In the center lies a bottle cap sized rock, with thousands of microscopic holes in it.

Specialization: Voidtouch Magic and pure unpredictability

Magic/Technology ratio: 90M/0T

Abilities: Absolute control (sometimes) over their own form, cartoonish amounts of Voidtouch Magic techniques

Weapons, armor, tools:Nothing.

Strengths: Their reserve of Voidtouch Magic is extremely high (a lot more than it has any right to be), it is a nightmare attempting to predict what they'll do next, and body manipulation go brrrr

Weaknesses: Their reserve of Voidtouch Magic directly impacts how stable their body is, breaking the rock just insta kills, any social skills, insanity^100, and Purelight based stuff his hyper effective against them (4x effective, to be exact)

Extra (added this to explain something): Hive, as the name suggests, is not a singular person. Thousands of various souls are trapped within the confines of Hive's body, one for each hole on the core (the rock). While there is only 1 that's in control, the sheer mass of voices means what he does is rather chaotic. As a side effect, the usual hivemind qualities of Void creatures are lost on Hive, being drowned out in the sea of voices. Although, he usually does whatever the Void would want through sheer coincidence.
*Is not actually originally Void, but due to how similar their worlds Void equivalent is, they act as originally Void in just about every way.
