    So after playing Silksong for a few hrs yesterday, I can easily say that this is noticibly harder than the 1st game.

    Which is weird because, reportedly, Team Cherry intended it to be something enjoyable for veterans and new players. Yet there's a notable amount of enemies and bosses that do two HP of damage instead of the standard one in the early hours of the game.

    Probably less hours in, there are a lot of stuff that deals double damage but that is balanced by it being very easy to heal so by technicality it feels like you have 3 max hp instead of 5

    It's so much harder it's not close, although I do feel like the enemies and bosses are also mostly easier to learn as well.

    And with that, my 2nd hollow knight playthrough is complete! With silksong around the corner It Feels right to give this game a proper send off after not playing since 2021.

    (For context, my thumb starts to really hurt when I hold A for a long time (I did one grand prix on the wii u version of 8 and had to stop afterward because of my thumb) so I always play with auto-accelerate when playing deluxe)

    the X key on my old laptop has begun to wear out because of all the button mashing that turning in F-Zero requires lmao (i have the accelerator bound to X, and while turning you need to spam it in order to maintain grip)
    also my finger starts hurting after dragging the cursor around in Trainz for too long
