PC 1.3 Achievement Suggestions!

Just realized how easy the King Slime thing is, with the ability to use Hardmode gear, soo...

POKE POKE POKE: Defeat the Eater of Worlds with a Shortsword.

And if that's too hard, it could also be the Eye of Cthulhu, but I have a feeling that'll be easy too. But it doesn't conflict with Lyra's Baby Slime thing, so that's cool. But the Baby Slime should be landing a killing blow on King Slime with the Baby Slime, that would be easier.

"Cutting them down in the roots" defeat Plantera
"It's only just begun" defeat Wall of Flesh and enter hardmode
"Merry Christmas" fight the frost moon for the 1st time
"What a Frightful Night" fight the pumpkin moon for the 1st time
"Mechanical Messiah" defeat all mechanical bosses
 
It's alive! - Active a statue spawning any monster.
Live long and prosper - Use a teleporter to travel more than 1000 block.
 
"Time travel heresy!"

Have your internal computer clock be set to a december or october date on any month other than that. (Sync with Steam, I guess?)
 
@Cenx not sure if this is possible, but maybe some sort of "achievement" that happens when someone wears dev armor when they're not supposed to?

In all seriousness, though, there should be one for getting all of the banners in the game (really hard, though), for getting a key mold, etc..

Now You're Thinking With Portals!: Obtain Portal Gun. (Only if you add that gun in 1.3)
Thar She Blows!: Summon Duke Fishron.
Housewarming Party: Obtain all NPCs. (Does not require Santa Claus)
Locked and Loaded: Fill all ammo slots with full stacks. (Not sure about this, since it's somewhat a chore)
I Think I Have Grown on You: Kill Plantera.
I'm Just Getting Started!: Craft a full set of armor. (any armor)
Junk Hoarder: Obtain a Grey rarity item.
From Rags to Riches: Obtain a platinum coin.
Live Long and Prosper: Obtain full Meteor Armor set. (R.I.P. Leonard Nimoy, we love you)
There Can Be Only One!: Kill X players. (X being the amount of players required to kill)
I'll Tell You When I've Had Enough!: Drink Ale. (Additionally, it can be more than one)
King Me: Obtain a crown.
Punching Bag: Die X times. (X being the amount required)
Every Little Bit Helps: Obtain your first money.
Deal With It: Craft a pair of Sunglasses.

That's all I can think of so far.

Additionally, I'd be more than happy to make some icons for the achievements.
 
"You may now kill the bride" - Kill the Groom
"Monster Hunter" - Collect every boss trophy
"Back To The Future" - Obtain a Hover-board
"Pierce the Heavens!" - Craft every type of drill
"Heir to the throne" - Craft Excalibur
"King of England" - Craft True Excalibur
"King of Terraria" - Craft the Terra Blade
Just a few suggestions (mainly for hard-mode)
 
Master Alchemist: Create 250 potions
Master Weaponsmith: Create 150 weapons
Master Armorsmith: Create 100 pieces of armor.

Populated: Get 5 NPC's on one world.
Thriving: Get all NPC's on one world.
I do!: You and another player on your world have Diamond Rings equipped
Bestiary: Capture and display one of each of the catchable critters. (Game checks if they're all placed at once?)

Trespassing: Kill the Dungeon Guardian
Take you to my leader..?: Survive the Lunar Event
I AM the leader!: Survive the Lunar Boss (Assuming the boss comes after the lunar event, I guess)
Mysterious Machinations: Kill all 3 mech bosses in one night.

Catch a Ride: Use a mount for the first time
Catch ALL the rides: Use all of the mounts at least once.

Bastion of Purity: Have less than 5% Hallow and 5% Crimson / Corruption on one world.
Agent of Corruption: Have 90% Corruption on one world.
Crimson Avenger: Have 90% Crimson on one world.
Unicorns and Rainbows: Have 90% Hallow on one world.

Moneybags: Acquire 1 Platinum.
Tycoon: Acquire 99 platinum.

Pleasure doing business: Buy 50 platinum worth of NPC services on one character. (Or across all characters)
The Hand that Feeds: Land the final blow on a boss with a weapon it drops.

Bottomless Potions: Heal over 50000 HP by an means.
Phenomenal Cosmic Power: Restore over 50000 Mana by any means.

Monster Killer: Defeat 250 enemies.
Monster Destroyer: Defeat 1000 enemies.
Monster Hunter: Defeat 5000 enemies.


I could come up with more in a while.
