Official Beta Testers Applications

We need beta testers and we are looking towards the community to fill a few spots.

Before you fill out the application, there are a few "must haves"

  • 16 years old +
  • Willing to sign an NDA (non-disclosure agreement). If you are under 18, your parent or guardian will need to sign this legal form on your behalf.
  • Be incredibly knowledgeable of Terraria and the game mechanics and have a significant amount of time played
  • Access to a PC that can run Terraria for regular testing (PC is a requirement other platforms are a bonus).
  • Willing and able to dedicate a discernible amount of time to testing, recording your feedback, and inputting bugs

I'm 27, more than willing to sign an NDA, I've written 1 guide on steam for terraria, working on a second, have a ridiculous amount of time logged for terraria, I strictly play PC, Love trying to help figure out what needs fixing for the general benefit of the community if and when able. Where do I sign up?

It sucks for me because I don't have a PC yet. I'd love to take a spot, but I'm one year less than the required age and I don't have a PC. Sucks.. :/
 
I'd love to apply, but I don't really have the time (especially with exams) and I'm not sure how much help I could bee either. I am the right age and have about 500 or so total play time, but I'm just don't think I could help find bugs, because I'd be asking too many questions.
 
Do you guys have betas for mobile? Because I would be a great beta tester/bug spotter because I've played terraria for at least 500+ hours. P.S., is the 1.2.4 update close to being ready?

I don't think they can just accept people as testers for the mobile and console versions like they can for the PC...

People do not always enter their actual age. It's not that uncommon

The application asks you which mobile platforms you could potentially test, so I assume they do. However, regarding this application, you do need to have a PC (to quote the OP, PC is a requirement, other platforms are a bonus).
 
I would have loved to submit an application, but then I remembered that I'm bad at making descriptions. :sigh:

  1. You apply.
  2. If you are selected, you will be contacted with further details/instructions.
There's really nothing else to "know" that is going to be made public. The team will make their decisions based on the information in the applications.
