Major Changes

-Added Tobbvald's Tinkering 2.0
-Added Motherboard, the Mechanical Brain of Cthulhu
-Martians can not invade until you defeat Necronomiton. Likewise, cultists only spawn after his defeat.
-The Lihzahrd Invasion has a chance of happening each morning after you defeat Golem. Defeating it can yield some sweet loot, like a raptor mount.
-After defeating the Lihzahrd, Solar Cultists will spawn deep within the Jungle Temple. Killing them will unleash the wrath of the Sun.
-New NPC, the Space Marine. Falls out of the Martian UFO bound, once you obtain a Martian Warpdrive (uncommon drop from the Saucer), you may talk to him to fly to the Moon, which has new enemies, mineable luminite ore, a new dungeon known as The Prison, and more.
-Added four other worlds to travel too besides the moon, each one one of the planets pulled closer to Terraria by the Lunar Event. These allow for an easier way to obtain Fragments, as well as plenty of new and exciting loot.
-After defeating the Moon Lord, the Dryad will send you on various quests to fight against the spreading biomes. Finishing the questline triggers two invasions, one for your evil biome and one for your 'good' biome. Defeating them allows you to fight two of six bosses, depending on what group you have. Either the Spirits of Light and Dark, Order and Chaos, or Life and Death.
-There is now Terra Blade alternates for each weapon class, Broken Hero Swords become Broken Hero Fragments. Combining a Terra Weapon with 10 of each celestial fragment creates the ultimate weapon, each of which allow you to fight alongside the Spirit of Purity, Gaea. The sword is known as Equilibrium, the bow is known as Harmony. (Names pending for the magic and summoner weapons)
-After unlocking a Biome Chest, that biomes Paladin has a chance to spawn in the respective biome. Said Paladin will wear armor based on the chest, and wield one of the 3 weapons not in the chest (each biome will have a weapon for each class, one spawns in chest, other 3 drop from the Paladin.) When defeated they drop said weapon, as well as one piece of their vanity set, and rarely a mount.
-Overhauled the Ocean, added the Krachor boss, the Merfolk Temple and the Poseidon boss, now has a biome chest.
-Overhauled the Desert, expanded the Pyramid, added the Antlion Dunemother and the Hand of Ra bosses (not actually a hand), now has a biome chest.
-Overhauled the Sky, added the Akriloth boss, now has a biome chest.
-Improved the Hallow, added the Drakenor boss.
-Added asteroids in space post-Moon Lord, made of Moonstone, spawns Comet Head and Martian Mining Drones.
-Overhauled Hell, added the Hades boss, now has a biome chest.

Misc. Changes

-Water gives the Wet debuff, lasts for 5 seconds when exiting.
-Gold chests can rarely spawn outside of Underground Houses
-Cozy Fire buff removes the Chilled debuff
-The Angler now sells Apprentice Bait after you've completed 5 fishing quests, Journeyman's Bait after 15 Fishing Quests, and Master Bait after 30. Post-Plantera, he sells the Angler's Rod, which has 40% fishing power.
-NPCs when respawning return to the same house they once were in, said 'Occupied' houses can not be taken by new npcs.
-Vanity Sets now override armor effects such as the Solar Shield and the beetles from Beetle Armor
-Option to Buff All when in chests, automatically consuming all the buff potions in the chest.
-Ankh Shield now requires a Hand Warmer, which now drops from Snow Flinx, Icy Mermen and Ice Elementals
-Blindfold (as well as its upgrades) now provide immunity to the Stoned debuff.
-The Cell Phone now displays what biome the player is currently in.
-Flesh Blocks can be used to craft Leather
-The Bride now drops a banner
-Severed Hands now spawn
-Biome Keys drop rate increased, all weapons buffed slightly.
-Corruption, Crimson and Contagion can now spread onto mud, creating their respective type of jungle. Cowron's may spawn within this biome.
-Enemies who are holding coins can not despawn and will actively hunt down the player.
-Lunatic Cultist now drops a Treasure Bag, contains the Lunar Staff, a magic weapon which cycles through using all of his attacks.
-Celestial Towers now have trophies, and drop money, alongside the enemies they spawn and the Moon Lord himself.
-Master Fishing Gear, crafted with the fishing accessories at a Tinkerer's Workshop
-Soles of Ice and Fire, crafted with Frostspark Boots and Lava Waders
-Terra Treads, crafted with SoIaF and the Flower Boots.
-Emblem of the Terrarian, crafted with the Avenger Emblem and all four standard emblems, increases all damage by 15%
-Paladin's Shield + Frozen Turtle Shell + Emblem of the Terrarian = Shield of the Terrarian.
-Encyclopedia Terraria - Given to you by the Guide after you defeat the Eye of Cthulhu, keeps track of all items, enemies, biomes, etc. you've encountered, information about them, and some lore tidbits.
-Martian Probes returned to their original spawn rate
-Added the P.O.S (Planetary Orbital Shielding), which prevents Martian Probes from spawning.
-Microbosses added Post-Moon Lord, as well as the Paladin NPC, which moves in after defeating Necronomiton. Hunt down Microbosses, get unique items or trade in their drop to the Paladin for special items.

-Overhauled Shroomite armor: Now all helmets boost Ranged damage and each helmet has a different set bonus.
-The mask still has the old set bonus, which has been buffed and reverted to the 1.2.4 behavior. Now provides a 50% damage reduction to make it more useful.
-The helmet now provides a bonus based on dealt damage: It increases a chance of extra shots.
-The headgear now provides a set bonus that causes overkill damage to turn into orbs which increase the damage of the player's next hit depending on the amount of overkill damage.​
-Tweaked Vortex armor. The set bonus now removes all of the armor's current defence, rather than reducing the user's mobility.
-Celebration no longer drops from Moon Lord. Now it's sold by the Party Girl for an outrageously high price (75 platinum) after defeating the Moon Lord.
-The Moon Lord now drops a different rocket-using weapon instead of the Celebration, and now has 3 drops per endgame armor:
-Burst shotgun: Is an endgame gun that shoots a burst of 3 spreads of bullets, effectively being a combination of the CAR and the shotgun in terms of behavior. Has a higher DPS than the SDMG, but is inaccurate. Has a secondary fire mode that makes it act as an inaccurate version of the Grenade Launcher.
-Eye Staff: Summons Eye minions that shoot beams at enemies. If there are fewer targeted enemies than minions, the eyes will shoot beams at each other, buffing each other (For example, if there are 7 eyes and 4 Moss Hornets onscreen, only 4 eyes will attack the hornets. The rest will shoot at the 4 attacking eyes, causing their beams to be larger and more damaging).
Weaponized Megaphone: Shoots a spherical shockwave that deals a moderate amount of damage on all onscreen enemies.​
-Added a new post-Moon Lord event which is intended to give the player an endgame challenge, which is triggered by trying to fish in the Underworld with an Angler Vodoo Doll as bait. The vodoo doll is always dropped in stacks of 1-3 by the Moon Lord.
-Added Jungle Mimic chests.
Uzi is now dropped by Jungle Mimics rather than Angry Trappers.
Also drops a new boomerang and a Water Bolt-like magic weapon, along with a new hook.​
-Pillars now drop enough fragments to allow the crafting of their corresponding armor set at least, and said set AND both weapons at most.
-Fragment armor sets no longer require Luminite bars to craft.
-Dryad now sells seeds of the unavailable corruption-like biomes during Solar Eclipses.
-Medusa Head drop chance increased to 10%
-Now all piercing weapons have projectile-based invincibility frames, similarily to Luminite Bullets.
-The Mechanic now sells Lihzahrd traps after defeating the Golem.
-Changed Vortex Beater behavior. Now it behaves similarily to the Laser Machinegun (With the limit being 10 UseTime, modified by prefixes), and the homing explosives are now triggered by using the RMB while shooting, with a 1-second delay between explosives.
-Terra blade is now crafted at the Golem Altar.
-Modified how the Metal Detector and Lifeform Analyzer work. Now they also tell the player the general direction of ores/rare creatures.
-Overhauled Nano Bullets. Now they have an unique ability.
-Added Celestial Fragment mounts.
-The Tax Collector cap is now 10 gold per NPC, including himself.
-Added alternate dialogue option. It changes both NPC dialogue and both item and creature names. Prolongued use not recommended.
-Added new Biome Chest weapons, which spawn in separate chests in the Dungeon, which all of them being guarranteed to spawn.
-Key drop rate increased to 1/625, as there are now 4 biome chests per dungeon.
 
-Add flood event.
-Add new idle animation to most pet.
-Hoplite now spawn inside marble wall,instead spawn anywhere near marble biome.
-Pyramid now spawn on top of underground desert on every world.

----Added to the character select panel, "Last world was on"; if world does not exist it is blank. This is for each character on selection panel.
----Added file name to Character select and World select Panels.
-Added Change to how doors open. Before based on character direction; now opens in the direction it is able to when possible.
-Added Ore Grappling Hooks to accommodate the new ore chain variants. Based on ore type used in chains with their own attributes and properties.
-Added a leather whip that acts like a short-medium range grappling hook. Made with leather and hook.
-Added more Trap types found in the world; using wiring mechanics
----Added Flame trap to underground caverns and the dungeon. works like a short range flame thrower that comes in 2 variations; vertical and horizontal.
----Added Swinging Axe trap, works similar to ball n chain in dungeon, except doesn't move till activated.
----Added Pusher trap. Pushes character away. Can be found together with boulder trap to create a horizontal boulder trap staring position.
----Added Shock Plate trap. Step on it to get a jolt. Acts like a pressure plate, but doubles as a trap.
----Added Arrow trap. Spits arrows when activated. Similar to dark trap, but ammo has arrow physics.

This for me is a builders dream. I am a builder, hence all of the builder oriented ones in there. :dryadsmile:
 
-Added any natural walls that were missing, and made any uncraftable ones craftable.
-Made leaves of a tree seperate to the wood, allowing for painting of leaves and wood.
-Made slopes let in light.
-Added furniture sets for all metals and some natural materials.

(Basically a small update for random aesthetic nonsense.)
 
Features and Mechanics:
-Added Cyrolite an ore that grows in the Underground Ice starting at the beginning of hardmode. Can be mined by Adamantite/Titanium equipment and is an equivalent tier to Hallow.
-Cyrolite Weapons, items, added. Frost Armor is now crafted from a combination of Cyrolite and Frost Cores
-Added alternate Hallow Biome, which appears in worlds with Crimson.
-Added a 3rd Darkness Biome that can be generated in World Generation instead of Corruption or Crimson, and a 3rd Light Biome to go with it.
-Added a Wing Equipment Slot
-Wings can now only be equipped in the new Wing Equipment Slot, still has vanity slot available
-New Underground Ocean Biome which is unlocked after defeating Duke Fishron. Contains an Atlantis themed Dungeon with the blocks its made up of only being breakable by Lunar Tools. Only spawns in the Ocean opposite to the Normal Dungeon
-Kraken Guardian appears in the Underground Ocean Temple if you haven't beaten Duke Fishron. Has 99999 hp (199998 hp on Expert) and functions similarly to the Dungeon Guardian.
-Underworld has an expansion called the Mantle underneath the normal layer. Its blocks and ore can only be mined by Pickaxe axe/Drax tier tools or higher.
-New Ore in the Mantle Biome, Blazestone
-Blazestone grows in small chunks and one Blazestone can generate a small chunk of more Blazestone even in the air.
-Starting in Hardmode, Blazestone can grow through Ash and convert Hellstone to Blazestone. Blazestone can be used to craft Hellstone equipment as well
-New Mantle biome boss which can only be summoned after Golem is defeated
-Dungeon Cultists now only appear after the Core boss is defeated
-New Boss the Kraken in the Underground Ocean Temple
-New Difficulty Mode above Expert Mode. Nightmare Mode is unlocked after defeating the Moon Lord on any Expert World.
-Recall Potion, Magic Mirror, Ice Mirror, and Cell Phone now have a hotkey associated with them
-Magma replaces lava in the Mantle biome, is much more dangerous to touch, water cannot convert it to obsidian and requires a Chlorophyte Bucket to carry
-Dungeon has a new section called Dungeon Catacombs available that is only unlocked with the Temple Key. All Special Dungeon Chests moved to new section, pre-hardmode Dungeon enemies don't spawn in the Catacombs, and Hardmode Dungeon enemies now only appear in the Catacombs
-Dungeon Catacomb blocks can only be mined with a Picksaw or higher tool.

Expert Mode:
-The Underworld will slowly damage players wearing armor lower than Blue rarity, will damage player a lot faster if player has no armor
-Jungle Water inflicts the Poison debuff
-The Mantle will damage players wearing armor lower than Lime rarity, will damage player a lot faster if player has no armor

Nightmare Mode:
-Contains all Expert Mode additions with some being made stronger
-Player drops 90% of Money on Death.
-Respawn increased to 1 minute for normal, 1 minute 30 seconds for Boss Fights
-Enemies have x4 health they had in Normal Mode
-Enemies do x4 Damage and have x4 Defense compared to Normal Mode
-Bosses have even more new tricks
-Enemies drop more a little more money on death compared to Expert Mode
-Debuffs last x2 as long compared to Expert Mode
-New Accessories can be combined that are only craftable in Nightmare Mode
-Zombies can break down doors on any night
-Spiked variants of all slimes appear and appear more frequently than normal slimes in the Jungle and Ice Biomes.
-Blood Moon can appear anytime even if player doesn't have 120 hp
-Eye of Cthulhu can spawn randomly any night with a 1/3 chance with player at 140 hp and 5 defense, and having 3 npcs moved in. Also can continue to spawn any night after the 1st defeat with a 1/10 chance alongside other events.
-Eater of Worlds/Brain of Cthulhu have a 1/400 chance to spawn any moment the player is in the Corruption/Crimson after the player has 180 hp. After 1st defeat, can appear at anytime with a 1/800 chance every moment
-Spiked Slimes variants completely replace regular slime variants when hardmode starts
-All Bats fly much faster and have charge attacks
-Boss Treasure Bags contain more loot
-Enemy and boss stats are multiplied x10 compared to base Nightmare mode stats if player brings in an item from a tier they don't have access to yet in that world, they will go back to normal if item(s) are removed or player is able to reach the game progression where they could access the item in the current world.
-Pre-Hardmode bosses get stronger and gain new tricks when hardmode begins.
-Mech Bosses can continue to spawn on any night after the 1st defeat with a reduced chance
-Several enemies gain new tricks
-Corruption/Crimson will slowly damage any players who enter unless they have armor equal to or higher than blue rarity

Balance, Additions, and Misc:
- Goblin Tinkerer will always give better modifiers until the weapon reaches the best modifier, players can also swap out a best modifier with another best modifier if the item has more than 1 best modifier at no extra charge. In exchange reforging is 5 times more expensive for every item.
- Eternal versions of boss summoning items added. Are crafted from several normal boss summoning items and act as boss summoners that aren't consumed when used.
- Credits roll after defeating Final Boss and returns to game after it is done
- Keybrand has been buffed
- More Wings added
-Life Fruit can be crafted with Blazebars into Life Cores which increase the player's max health by 10 to a new maximum of 700 hp. Can only be used when base Maximum Hp is at least 500. Turns Hearts to a light blue color
-Mana Crystals can be crafted with Blazebars into Mana Cores giving the player a permanent 10 mana increase up to a max of 300 Mana. Can only be used when base Maximum Mp is at 200. Turns Mana Stars into a Magenta color
-More ingame hints from the guide in all modes to help progression
-Chlorophyte bucket, can carry 5 blocks of any one of the liquids at once
-Added Jungle Mimic, new items, thorn hook moved from Plantera to Jungle Mimic
-New Desert Mimic, and Desert Dungeon Chest

((I don't like that, they made no-armor challenge more impossible to progress))

-Add Aquarium.
-Robe now has new texture.
-Buffed Excalibur and now it's recipe is back to requiring a cobalt, mythril, and adamantite sword(or variants) to craft.

-You can now catch corrupted version of critter with bug net.
-Coins now go into slots based on their value, with lower value coins going into lower slots.

-Add set bonus to obsidian armor.
-Now crystal shards will drop when you clean the hollow.
-Travelling merchant now sell wallpaper instead of painter (only normal wallpaper not festival one)
 
Summoner
- Added several summoner weapons, and armor.
- Summons now recalculate their stats whenever buffs or accessories change.
- Summoner weapons have their own modifiers.
- Summons can now deal critical hits.
- Summon AI is massively improved.
- Summons can now be controlled by right clicking a target with their appropriate staff while wearing any summoner armor, it will however command all of that type of summon to attack. i.e. Using the Hornet staff will command all of your hornets to attack, but not your imps.
- Added Commander Badge which makes it so that you can control summons without summoner armor, while wearing summoner armor it allows you to command each individual summon instead of all of the same type, sold by the witch doctor.
- Added Commander Emblem which is the same as the Commander Badge but it adds 15% summon damage too. crafted with Avenger Emblem and Commander Badge.
- Summons no longer count towards the buff cap.
- The summon buff tooltips display how many you have of that type out of the maximum possible.

Bosses
- Several bosses no longer drop weapons, and instead drop materials that are used to make them.
- Skeletron Prime is slightly faster.
- When the Golem's arms are destroyed they now start to work like grappling hooks.
- You can now summon multiple of one boss at the same time.
- Truffle Worms are more common, and can't be killed by enemies.

Expert Mode
- The Destroyer now splits in half when it reaches 1/2 health.
- The Destroyer will get a short speed boost, and temporary invincibility when it spawns to un-bundle it quickly.
- Skeletron Prime gains an extra set of limbs and is slightly faster.
- Spazmatism now goes Eye of Cthulhu rage mode leaving behind a line of cursed flames that dissipates after 5 seconds at 1/8 health.
- Retinazer will occasionally stop and fire a laser beam similar to the Moon Lord, at 1/8 health.
- The Golem will now teleport to you when it can't reach you, similar to King Slime.

Blocks and Biomes
- All blocks with black borders no longer have them.
- Added new Alt Hallow that always spawns in Crimson Worlds.
- You can now choose whether your world generates Crimson, or Corruption.
- Added some new world types to choose from at world gen. e.g. A world with all the forest, and underground/caverns replaced with the snow, and ice biomes. A world with large mountains. A mostly ocean world with lots of islands. A world with massive caves underground. A world with large ruins with sweet loot (and traps).
- The dungeon has received a number of new obstacles for players to overcome.

Weapons, Tools, and Equipment
- Mana Crystals can now be used as ammo in the Star Cannon and increase it's damage by 28.
- Breaker Blade damage increased to 45.
- Wings now display statistics about them in their tooltip.
- Grappling Hooks now display statistics about them in their tooltip.
- Pets, light pets, and mounts no longer count towards the buff cap.
- Daedalus Stormbow is no longer dropped by the Hallowed Mimic, and is instead crafted with 10 hallowed bars, 15 Souls of Fright, 10 souls of Light, and 5 crystal shards.
- Petri Dish now drops from all types of slime at a 1/2500 chance. (On PC)

True, but it could also encourage other types of going through Underworld and lower with weaker armor challenges. Similar to No-Varia/Gravity Suit runs from Super Metroid. If there is at least some armor on, it would only damage players at a rate of 1 hp every 5 seconds. Every 2 seconds with no armor at all.

- Daedalus Stormbow is no longer dropped by the Hallowed Mimic, and is instead crafted with 10 hallowed bars, 15 Souls of Fright, 10 souls of Light, and 5 crystal shards.

It would be sad to see my baby locked behind Skeletron Prime, considering it was central to my strategy of defeating it and the other mechs.

That's why I want it moved post mech, it's just too good at killing the mech bosses. It would also give Skeletron Prime a good drop, because it's lacking them after the Neptune's Shell was moved to the Solar Eclipse, unless you count the Frost Moon drops.
