Dragons

How many heads does it take for a dragon to be a hydra? Do people consider dragons with two heads to be hydras, dragons, or does it depend on if the heads will grow back if they lose one? And if it depends on if they grow back, wouldn't that mean you could have a five headed dragon that still isn't a hydra? Or a single headed hydra?

To me it's about if they grow back their heads, and to the second question, yes.

Alright. Also, if referring to basically an aquatic version of a hydra, would it still be considered a hydra, or would it be better to call it Scylla or Charybdis?

I think it'd still be a hydra, although Scylla would sound like a good substitute.

Well huh. Would real animals like Pterodactyls technically be classified as dragons?

I'd personally say no.

I'd say no as well, even if they might be similar to wyverns.

So then would the Breath of The Wild dragons also be considered and Wyrverns?

I'd need a clearer picture to give my thoughts.

They seem more like noodles to me.

From what I can see in that picture it looks more like a wyrm.

Here’s a good one:

That's a noodle.

So here's a future OC. Not much decided yet, but felt like showing the picture of the rainbow noodle hydra ahead of time.

So recently I was thinking about how dragons are normally depicted, and it raised a bit of a question.

Do you think a dragon would be considered a reptile, a mammal, or neither?

I personally generally consider them to be reptiles in terms of anatomy at least.

I also think that they’re reptiles,
But they could be considered noodles
