A sentry weapon that is dropped from Golem at a 1/8 chance (Picksaw is still the same chance).

It spawns a mini golem that stays immobile. The Golem Control Rod will fire slow, accurate, heat ray like lasers that pierce many enemies in its range; the beam leaves behind passive residue that also deals decent damage.

The Golem Sentinel (name of the sentry) has very good accuracy and hard hitting attacks that pierce, but has a slow attack speed that makes it a little bit of a mixed bag.

Uniquely, the Golem Control Rod has a higher than normal critical strike chance, too.
Unless you have a Morning Star or a Kaleidoscope, sentries can’t crit. Allowing this one in particular to crit would invalidate the whips’ abilities, and having the enhanced chance only happen when the whips are in play would funnel the weapon choice too much.

Why not punch the enemies? That’s actually an attack golem does.
