Multiple Queen Bee Spawning

When I go into a beehive with my Drill Containment unit If i destroy the larva spawn egg with it while at about 5 blocks or closer i can spawn multiple queen bees the most i have ever spawned was 3 i think this is due to the fact that the DCU shoots out multiple lasers and they all think they broke it so then the game spawns more than 1

Nope i did this on single player you have to find a naturally gen hive i find that this bg is more common when the Larva is in the middle of the hive not near the walls as the lasers are mor likely to target the larva instead of the walls of the hive
 
Hi,
Just to report I had the same kind of bug.
I'm playing single palyer, expert mode, in a large pre-hard mod world. I saw 3 bee queen spawning from the same larva after hitting with a yoyo + counterweight. I have a slime minion too.
Since I had TerraMap opened, I cound check afterwards that there was only one larva there.
(No need to say I died ;-))

it was the third time I summoned the bee queen in this world. There was only one queen the first times.
The world was created before Terraria 1.4 but I only summoned bee queens in 1.4

Playing Terraria 1.4.0.4 on Steam/PC
