So I upgraded my Lunar event speedkill farm to generate better records. I had to re-build it almost from scratch in order to make my ideas real, but it was well worth it.
My Video:
This time I used Lucky Ankh Shield + Cute Fishron in liquid instead of Lucky Celestial Stone. The former gives +15% damage, +4% crit chance, and knockback immunity to the player, while the latter gives +10% damage and +6% crit chance. At this high crit rate (Last Prism says 71% with all other equips + potions), I think +5% damage is better than +2% crit chance in terms of the total amount of damage. Also if you choose the latter, you need to grab onto something to avoid knockback by using hooks, which requires wasted cursor movement (while farming pillars anyway) given that this is a speedkill attempt. I know Lucky Celestial Stone + Cute Fishron would be ideal for speedkilling Moon Lord if the player can avoid knockback somehow, but so far I haven't found such method. As for Cultist and pillar mobs, it doesn't matter so much which I choose. They will be killed instantly either way.
Also I no longer use slimy saddle invulnerability machine in these farms, just because it's not necessary. Some say it's cheesy, but I don't have problems with using it. It's just that I don't use it unless absolutely necessary.
Oh also, I have no idea why that ticking noise from the dummy hoik engine stopped at 1:10 of my video. It occasionally happens and bothers me a bit. Has anyone experienced it too? Or does anyone know how it happens?
Cultist Farm:
I had figured that my method to kill Moon Lord's head eye instantly works for Cultist as well, and it turned out to be right. After collecting enough boosters from the crabs (Raven Staff will be needed as usual in my setups), you press the switch on the bottom center. Devotes and Archers fall into the pit and spiky balls kill them rather slowly (they are immune to lava), allowing you to store sufficient amount of Arcanum's projectile into the box. I strongly recommend you to put the cursor on the left edge of the switch on the top center, since it will be the perfect angle to shoot Arcanum's projectiles into the box if you are standing on the center of the teleporter, and you can teleport into the first pillar farm as soon as Cultist is killed, by just right-clicking.
Pillar Farm:
There are 4 almost identical pillar farms near the vertical lines that divide the entire world map into 5 equally sized areas. Wiring colors are all different due to their complicated wiring, and 2 of them are symmetrical to the others for no reason (seriously, what was I thinking... I regret it now), but they all share the same, and rather simple concept. Each pillar will be forced to spawn right in front of you in this setup, so there are just a few things you have to do. Activating the spawn surface and the dummy hoik engines (you can do them beforehand to save some time and improve record), and firing Last Prism to the right/left. You can't watch it becouse it happens outside of your screen, but pillar mobs will be killed instantly after spawning.
As for how to force pillars to spawn at the exact same place every time, there are 3 instructions on the internet as far as I know. One is written by @Wahoa in this thread (accurate, but a bit hard to understand), another is written by @blackshadowwind in his thread (measures aren't quite right but it'll do the job, Plus easy to understand), and the other is in this Wiki page (hard to understand, not recommended). I too made a instruction video quite a while ago, but it's in Japanese language so only for those of you who understands it.
Changes:
Moon Lord Farm:
It is imperative for you to remember when the "Impending doom approaches..." message is displayed, since Moon Lord spawns exactly a minute (an hour in-game) after it, and there are some time limits on this speedkilling setup.
After teleporting into the bat box, you summon Ravens into the crab box and collect boosters by activating dummy hoik engine. While collecting, you also spawn bats from the statues and let them inflict Feral Bite debuff on you. Putting Cave Bat Banner is recommended, since their attacks can be deadly without it. Also pay attention to the duration of the debuff, it must be long enough to last until Moon Lord dies, Otherwise you must give up speedkilling him.
After Feral Bite is set, you get out of the box by pressing the switch on the right, ride Cute Fishron, and soak in honey. Then shoot Arcanum's projectiles into the box above until Moon Lord spawns. I put a rainbow block as a mark for where to put the cursor. Note that you have to be in this step at least 11 seconds before Moon Lord spawns, since Arcanum's projectile remains only 11 seconds.
You will need a Super Healing Potion during the fight to survive.

Changes:
- According to my observation by using Mechmod's free cam mode, Stardust Pillar summons mobs in almost random spots, but within a square of 20x60 tiles above it. So I had to add more teleporters above the farm in order to handle these mobs. And which also leads to the reason there are 2 dummy hoik engines, becouse I need 4 pressure plates to continuously activate all 12 teleporters above. I tested this setup at first, but somehow it did not work. the plates on the hoik teeth worked fine, but there was no signal from these on the teleporter. Oddly enough, when there are just 2 of these on the teleporter, they work just fine. Does anyone know why?
- It seems that Vortex Pillar can summon Hornets wherever it pleases as long as there's enough open space (walled or not), so I also added more teleporters under the farm to guide them into the line of Last Prism's beam, and sealed that meaningless hole that I unintentionally made.
- Since I no longer use invulnerability machine in this farm, Solar Pillar's fireballs are pretty lethal (each deals 200+ damage). Thankfully they don't pierce through blocks, so I put a barrier above the spawn point of the pillar.
- I put carb statues in the line of Last Prism's beam, so that I don't have to waste my time getting rid of ravens and re-summoning them into the crab box. They say we have to think outside the box...
Do you get it?
- Apparently I put too many walls above the spawn surface and it had been reducing spawn rate, so I had to get rid of them. It's not a pretty sight, but I have secured more than 1000 tiles of open space. So according to @ZeroGravitas' spreadsheet in this thread, now there is almost no spawn rate reduction.
- The switch that let you teleport into the next farm is now in the line of Last Prism's beam for minimizing cursor movement, and the one in the fourth pillar farm is connected to the bat box in the Moon Lord farm.
