Greetings Terrarians!

Terraria: Journey's End has been in development for quite some time, and we have shared a good number of spoilers for what is to come across all of our communication platforms over that time. As we get closer and closer to the finish line, the team thought that it might be a good idea to provide a one-stop-shop for all Journey's End spoilers shared thus far and then to keep that updated as we share more in the run up to launch.

Where to begin..

  • Many of these bloopers would prove excellent easter eggs findable by obscure means. The true wall of death should be fightable, and the grabby vine.. inspiring.
  • That boulder trying to roll towards the player would make it very useful in caves and hills, as you could just jump or stop to have the momentum-filled boulders just smash into your enemies. Right now, boulder staff is useless and unsatisfying since it doesn't knock back enemies into itself.
  • I hope Hell is deeper and maybe even takes longer to reach. More "depth" to the game. It really felt just like a strip/racetrack so far, for the sole purpose of the WoF.
  • I hope the Ocean is deeper, vaster, and fuller.
  • I still think you should have more "wacky worldgen" happen. There's a reason a lot of oldschool players prefer InDev (Minecraft version) rather than InfDev, due to the amazing natural formations you could get. Having plain and "normal" generation is not as fun as having underground trees, vast cliffs and New Zealand-like stuff. Or even large areas that are just somehow filled with lava and horrifyingly stupid-difficult enemies, remnants of urns of evil that spawn them, or whatever excuse.
  • I hope you can "wraparound" like in Starbound; walking to the edge of the world just makes you go around. Even if that entails just walking into a loading zone, black screen, and bam you're on the other side - whatever engine limitation, just do your best.
  • I really hope Master Mode is default available, because I'll Master Mode stream this :red: asap when it's out.
  • I still think the Windy Day spoiler music is awful, it's like it tries very hard to stand out and mix calm with chaotic and irregular attention-seeking "spurts of fun" on a.. calm and whispy occasion where there's just simply wind in the background.
  • I still think you should implement at least a statue of me. I mean c'mon.

Petition to make Wall of Copper Shortswords the true final boss
That's the spirit. @Cenx I hope you're hearing this.

Maybe not make it have more strength than other bosses, but simply be a "fun" boss from rare conditions. Make it drop a fun item, like a mini guide that occasionally speech-bubbles things like "man I feel like I've carried the world on my shoulders" and "I feel like stabbing things. Is this normal?"
I dunno, something. Baby orca for all I know.

Can there just be a item that spawns like eight guides just sitting on each others shoulders but they do litteraly nothing
