Often, I don't. That's when my sweet lady love the mechanic has a right old laugh at my failure.
I also work out, just so I can deal with recoil of big guns like my megashark.

Why don't you use a kb resist item like a cobalt shield, or does that not apply to recoil?

Why won't you get faster at moving in before the dryad takes your house for the fourteenth time? I keep killing her and she just comes back.

I'd never actually thought of that. A knockback resistant item still might not work against recoil but it's worth a shot I guess. But seriously, have you ever tried holding a cobalt shield and a megashark at the same time. They're both pretty heavy ya know?

Yes, but then the nurse moves into your house and she's harder to kill and I refuse to make ugly hay boxes. Also, I'm trying to put actual effort into my buildings now so it takes time and I'm currently procrastinating working on a fishing boat for the Angler.

Well, this is probably what led my kind to create Vortex Boosters. Anyways,.... Why and how does your workshop work??? I mean, you can effectively make a shield that protects you from nearly anything... it's honestly amazing.
