The Last Post Wins!

basically, yesterday i was talking to my parents about joining a discord server that a friend of mine made, and my dad said that i never know that one random day they’ll decide to go through my discord and see who i’ve been talking to/what i’ve been talking about

i have no privacy

i have no goddamn privacy even with my own :red:ing devices in my own :red:ing home

even if i like changed my password somehow, they’d either know i did right after i did it, or they’d probably pressure me to tell them

and because i use my actual name and pronouns, theyd learn abt me being trans and sapphic

and then that’d be a WHOLE OTHER DISCUSSION

so now i just have to live in fear that i’ll just be randomly found the :red: out

:red: my life
Bruhhh
Is that even legal? Part of me feels like that should be illegal

Wow, that sounds rough.
Do you really have such a bad relationship with your parents that you don't want them to see who you've been talking to/what you've been talking about?
I'm definitely biased, because I have rly good parents who I know I can trust with absolutely all of the information I know, but I find it hard to believe that this situation is as bad as you think it is.
If your parents want to monitor your social media activity, that's a sign that they care about you. They want to make sure that the child they made grows up to be a joyful, successful human being, and social media is one of the best ways to monitor that kind of growth.
Though on the other hand, hiding your orientation from your parents is something that I have absolutely no experience with.

I remember reading something a while ago that contained 4 questions you should ask yourself before doing something;
What is the worst thing that can happen if you do it?
What is the best thing that can happen if you do it?
What is the worst thing that can happen if you don't do it?
What is the best thing that can happen if you don't do it?

Overall, I think the benefits of telling the truth outweigh the risks; I recommend you tell your parents.
However, the choice is ultimately up to you; I recommend that you think about this decision for at least 30 minutes, and at most a few hours.
I'll be praying for you.

just a warning that I might also go offline today to play games on my switch while watching Pokemon on my keyboard

These types of situations make me wonder why some parents cant let their kids have a sliver of privacy, but here's an idea. Don't have the discord app. Use the website. Its not much of a change but its not as accessible. Other than that, I'm sorry you have to live with virtually no privacy.

Edit: Ill always be willing to listen when I'm on the forums

I'm going to try making a concept design for Sago using Kingdom Hearts... I doubt it'll go well though.
spoiler alert: It did not go well.
After a lot of thought, I've decided who Void's girlfriend is going to be in my Kirby of the Stars fanfiction; Francisca.
And this reminded me that I was working on a fourth mage sister... thanks for reminding me that I have like 4 or so Kirby OCs that I need to work on. (Iren, Yumi, and two unnamed OCs)
Sago gets priority though.

I forgot when my big fancy presentation worth most of my grade is and cant find the other :red: I need to turn in with my paper so I'm stressed as hell right now and they just wont learn when to stop making genuinely harmful "passive" comments. I ask them to stop, what do they do? THEY DON'T :red:ING STOP. And all of this because I'm not allowed to get a :red:ing C on any of my grades or else they're gonna take me out of the school where I finally felt a sense of belonging for once and actually made friends, and my room isn't far enough to block out them talking that is making me mad and stressing me out. I'm so god damn done with this.

Edit: Now my mom wants me tested for bipolar and put on medication that's just gonna have another adverse side effect and :red: up my life more. Born to be a winner, wasn't I?

Edit 2: Not even one full day into the month and my life is already being messed up. Cant even go one month without some major drama making everything harder.

Edit 3:Now my dad's gonna try to get my door taken off. I give up.
