use a simple tool first and then sprite them? That's how I make most of my drawings, I use a simple tool like Gacha Club or a game first and only after that I start drawing

True. It's just I need to motivate myself to art. That and like, I have some weird complex when it comes to art. Making art for others as a gift or a request? Will perfectly somehow do.

like Claire, both her Lost Hope and Hopeful World designs
kinda awkward needing to play an entire Mega Man game (and sequel) for design inspiration when the games assume both the shoulder buttons and the touchscreen are functioning at the same time on my actual consoles because I refuse to use an emulator when the games are more fun on official hardware, just saying

my plan is to use an image from the splatoon manga (which I will someday try to collect, yes it's a thing) as a reference together with ingame images and my note regarding his outfit
