PC Trapped inside house when starting game up

Anyone know why my character keeps spawning inside of this house I'm making? It traps me in this corner and I have to dig my way out each new time I want to start playing the game. I fill the hole in, save and exit, and then when I load the game up it spawns me inside the house again. This is my first thread and I don't know why the forums are making me do a "poll." I don't want a poll, I need answers. DM me if it doesn't let you comment on this thread.

You always spawn in the default spawn if you have no bed set. Your worlds default spawn is at that specfic X, Y coordinate. I'm guessing you dug out and cleared your spawn area in order to construct your houses.

Construct a bed, place it where you want to spawn in at, and right click it.

That was your spawnpoint, you always spawned there, but you put your house over it.

Yes, find or craft a bed, and place it in a walled, closed room (basically if it's fit for an NPC, it'll work) and use it, it makes the bed your spawnpoint until it's unset or the bed is destroyed.

Also, you don't have to create a poll, just leave those boxes blank.
