If you were giving him 60000 HP because the destroyer has 80000, think this, the destroyer has several segments that allow players to greatly multiply their damage against him, but the motherboard is 1 entity, so giving him more health then duke fishron just makes him take longer and not actually be harder.

If you made the boss begin with more signal drones and slashed off about 66%-75% of his health, he would be more like the BoC, remember, BoC only has 1000 health, but the first half of his boss fight is killing his peepers, which give him at least a couple thousand more health.

Also the Soul of Mind needs to not exist, please just make him drop souls of might like the destroyer, not only does Mind not end in "ight" but also for people using this mod with other mods(which should be most people) it makes other mod items (like Thorium's soul forge) impossible to craft.

i agree with almost all of this, do remember though the destroyer can still be spawned regardless of corruption/crimson.

The mod still allows Destroyer to spawn naturally and the Mechanical Worm to drop from enemies. Note that Plantera cannot be fought until after the 3 vanilla mechanical bosses are fought anyway, so Motherboard may hinder progress in a Corruption world but it doesn't stop anything from being crafted at all as you still need to get Souls of Might.

The motherboard is already made harder.

Why it hinders the progress? Killing Motherboard enables downedMechBoss1 (That is uses for Destroyer) and downedMechBossAny (Used for defeating any mech. boss). So everything is like with the Destroyer.

It hinders progress because every other mod will be requiring Souls of Might for recipes, not Souls of Mind (which, as stated above, doesn't even follow the naming convention for souls).

The name is not by me but by @Zoomo. Also the Soul of Mind could be converted into Soul of Might.

My point about the souls of might still stand though, if you want to keep it simple, at least add some conversion recipe for souls of mind to souls of might so that way your mod can still have compatibility with other mods.

Also by harder, did you mean by my suggestion? Because I still say 60000HP is too much.

EDIT: Thought of a new name for soul of mind if you plan on keeping it.

"Soul of Bright" as one of Bright's meanings is "Having a clear, quick intellect; intelligent" Which fits the motherboard.

Bright sticks with the souls ending in ight.

The Creature of Nightmares reminds me of Freddy Krueger but not totally sure

And of course the Screamer looks like the Scream mask on a ghost/reaper
 
I'm pretty sure that the rest are the girl from the ring (Samantha?), the guy from the movies "Scream", Freddie Krugger and the axeman I'm not quite sure might be the man form the move the axeman or maybe Johnny from the Shining.

BTW I think slenderman would be great for a bossfight with all the tentacles and stuff. Would be nice as a hardmode bloodmoon boss as currently there is no boss for that event.

Screamer I dont even gotta mention it, the murderer from Scream.
 
thin man? honestly, that doesnt sound at all menacing, maybe something more like "the lurker" or even pushing it a bit far and going more terraria themed with "slenderon" and giving it a pig-dragon face.

Btw, we have changed Mind into Plight and also 2 Souls of Might/Plight can be converted into 1 Soul of Plight/Might.
