EDIT- Origami throwing stars as boomerangs or a consumable throwing weapon?
 
Amazing suggestions as always. It's a bit off-putting having a slice of Japan/China thrown into the middle of an underground cave, but it would certainly be a fun place to explore.

Also it be cool if we were able to wear a smaller version of that demon mask so it has it's own drop.

Looks awesome; well thought out and from what I can see fairly balanced.

Will Bamboo have it's own furniture? May want to make some kind of special crafting item if so or perhaps the dynasty mill can be multipurpose for that effect.
Will Giant Silk moth perhaps drop Silk-More to the point will Silk have any more use in this due to there being Silkworms? I mean if there's silk worms perhaps there would be more uses for silk?

In any case great job as always with your suggestions.
 
As an origami artist, I really like this idea.
I kind of want more.

Also, I kind of thought about renaming the Bamboo Sword simply as "Bokken", since generally that's what I think when it comes to wielding bamboo.
 
you should throw in more Japanese mythological creatures, such as Tengus, Kappas, and Kitsunes. Considering you already have Tanukis

just a thought.
